As a highlander living in England, currently reading Simon Ingrams 'The Black Ridge', I am desperately missing the homeland mountains but greatly enjoying your channel as a substitute! Thanks!
One word Murray, awesome. To get the conditions and those vistas on Skye is something else and a rare occurrence. When that drone footage and signature music start, the hairs on the back of my neck bristle and Im just living it with you, especially since my knees just cant get me up that stuff these days. Makes me even more determined to invest in two new knees privately so I can maybe get amongst some of those hills again.
What a mountain, what an amazing place Skye is. Thanks for sharing Murray, a superb way to spend a Wednesday evening watching. Hope Mrs M wasn’t too unhappy at you getting back late 😀 Oh and rocking the Falljraven trousers. My favourite go to pants. Anyway as always stay safe and all the best.

Lovely film Murray. Just gotta love Skye. Just got back from Alps. I was sweating too! Doubt it was as hot as yours but we did more Via Ferrata just to manage fatigue a little 🤪.

I've been trying to get to Skye since 2019, but covid and other stuff getting in the way, fingers crossed for Feb/March next year. Just love Winter light and colours. Thanks Murray for taking me there and reminding me what I'm missing 😉 take care Alioban x
One of my all time favourite hills. The bog trot is worth it. A great introduction to the Cuillin for anyone who hasn't been on Skye before. And, yes, you have to go back because the traverse to Belig is fantastic. Great video, you are encouraging me to head back up this one.
Wow that 360 views around13.30min mark=paradise!!! Love Scotland, thanks for posting another awesome film! Also that view from the lodge, feel jealous :)

Stunning as usual Murray - this reminds me a bit of the one you did from your camp atop Sgurr na Stri - Sheriff Alexander Nicolson reckoned the views from Blaven were the finest on Skye, and having made it to that summit just once I can't disagree. Nice bit of luxury at the close!
