    I love the method, it's like a wave of order moving irresistably through the area. Plastic waste, fixed. Neglected pot plants, fixed. Strange substances in bottles, fixed. Broken hose, fixed. Old mats, containers, rubbish, dirt, overgrowth, tangles of weeds, even a plastic pigeon... all fixed! 😄

    Wow! It's a rare landscaping business that attends to detail so thoroughly. I love the work you did here. You revived the potted plants, trimmed when appropriate to health, and cleaned with absolute discretion as to what needed to go and what needed to stay. If I were the homeowner of this lovely little courtyard I'd be thrilled to see the renovation of this amazing outdoor space. Beautiful work. Absolutely magical.

    It was a beautiful property once I can tell. The cleanup was so thorough and neat! Hat's off! I think it would be better if the owner gives away those potted succulents after this or really makes a commitment to maintaining them. Cheers to you two for working so hard!

    • @fatemanusrat8939
      @fatemanusrat8939 2 года назад +14

      @@teepeeX it's better to give them a better home instead of letting them rot or be overtaken by weeds. Liking is not the issue here. They have to be passionate enough to take care of those. I have seen plenty of people start a garden or plant collection out of this 'liking' but after a while they lose the motivation to take care of them properly and eventually most of their plants die because of that negligence. So it's better to give the plants away once they start to feel overwhelmed and lose the passion to work on their garden on a regular basis. That's why I said the owner should really make a commitment this time or just give them away. Just because I like a thing doesn't necessarily mean I'm fit enough for its maintenance.

      I can relate to this property. I have a tendency to get too many projects started. too many rooted cuttings. Too many big ideas. Sometimes in my own mind it still looks fabulous because I'm looking at every component as a possibility--just waiting for its true self to emerge. But when a take a photo I suddenly see what others see. Yikes!!! Time for an intervention.

    • @sancraft1
      @sancraft1 2 года назад +7

      @@teepeeX Maybe the owner is unable to take care of them anymore. Perhaps it's an older person that's moving into assisted living. Their family members can't take care of all of those plants because they live other places. It's good that the plants are being given to someone who can take care of them and propagate them rather than just going into the trash.

    Good grief. It looks like a beloved gardeners yard. The current owners like to be outdoors. As you started, Landscape Archeology kicked-in. Suddenly a lost path, suddenly a hidden stairway rail... So a simple complex cleanup is going to have surprises. Plants with Palm characteristics seem to have a quality of dropping leaf litter a lot. You are certainly an excellent pick for the job. A gardener for a gardener. Great kindness, fixing the broken hose fitting. A fairly extreme memory game, of where to put everything back... Wow. What a nice improvement you two.

    Hello, I've looked at your new employee a few times now and I think he suits you. Apparently he is still young and can handle the heavy gardening work. As far as your work goes, I like that you are very methodical and thorough without doing any clear-cutting in the garden. as for the gardens they have to tend, I'm sometimes amazed at how people degenerate, neglect and litter those gardens. That's something I can't understand. I understand that from a certain age you are subject to medical restrictions and can no longer cope and the garden then overgrows, what I don't understand are the people who then throw their garbage in the garden instead of in the bin. You have done a brilliant job, but I am afraid you will have to come 2-3 more times to bring the garden back to normal :) Greetings from Germany

      No doubt the owner of this house has aged and can no longer handle the work necessary to maintain a yard. It's sad to see actually. Hope she is able to keep the interior up. I doubt it has been years of total neglect, unless things grow very slowly in this part of Australia. If it were FL that would happen in months!

It is clear by all the old seedling pots and the many plant pots that they were once keen gardeners.

    George fabulous job. I love that you looked at each pot and kept the good and the bad went out.
    I love everything but really like how you take care of the trees and shrubs . Well done

    I love how meticulous you are! I have always believed in "do it right the first time or don't do it at all" and I still at my age do all my edging, trimming and push mowing....just enjoy being outside.
    Thanks so much for your video's and the wonderful work you do.

    This was a tough job, but you did it well. I noticed there was more to be done. They should hire you on a weekly basis. Good job!

    Thank you thank you what an amazing transformation the most beautiful amazing relaxing morning I have had to watch a master gardener at work. I say master because to go into another person's garden an take such loving care of so many different species of plants takes a master to know goes an what to keep is probably the most challenging part hands down the best I have ever seen. Thank you so very much hugs 🤗
