The NHS website has detailed information as to who qualifies for the Learning Support Fund. You should be able to compare your qualification against their list. Alternatively, you could reach out to their customer services with further questions
Hi, I just come across your video. I’m 25 living alone and thinking about applying for university. I want to go about going to university but staying living at my own home. However, I’m worried about the cost side of things. I’m unsure that the maintenance loan won’t cover all my expenses. Is there any advice you could share?
You could research whether it is possible to stay at your own home whilst studying. This would only be possible if there are universities within commutable distance to your place of living. There are grants and scholarships that you could look into to help with some costs. However, there are a huge number of medical students who do choose to work alongside their studies, this can be challenging and definitely something to consider should you choose to apply.
I looked at the list of bursaries, but there is absolutely nothing for a white male in his 50s. What was that you said about there being grants and bursaries for almost everybody?
@@EntertainmentPoliticsand-nz4er 😂dude, I’m black and going to apply to uni next year. And i don’t fit under the criteria for any bursaries. It’s mostly about income. Basically every bursary requires you to be earning under X amount of money regardless of race.
@@broskibrobro1278 "Dude", I thought you were Asian, not black. And famously there is only one University in the UK that does a bursary for white working class people and that's Bradford, you really must keep up.
