Hope you will try Mavala nail polish system, I did manicure using Mavala 002 base coat last Saturday and it lasts quite well! No significant chipping after 6 days~
You’re welcome! No idea, but they say it can be used under polish. What I would do is make sure clients nails are in a good shape before starting Shellac. So doing these treatments for 2 weeks prior. Or client using DMU based polish like Trind every day for 2 weeks to harden and cross link the nail if needed.
I work in the kitchen with water and that makes them fragile in layers. I have used everything and nothing. natural remedies for nails esse bases and more now I acquired mavala strong and the scientist k who is green Let's see, I use gloves in my work, I hope they work. and I do the warm oil thing once a week could you give me an answer thank you
IBX treatment is not a hardener. It’s designed to fill in damage. Mavala is a hardener. Both the original one and the K+. Original is formalin based (so very quick acting but can be irritating when overused. Or it can make the nails too hard. Mavala K+ is slower acting and less chance of overdoing it. Mavala is good for naturally soft and thin nails. IBX can be used for hard and damaged nails as it doesn’t harden them.
Oil and hot oil soaks. Oil adds flexibility and it prevents too much water from being absorbed by the nail which causes brittleness too. Also avoid harsh soaps. Gentle soap only. Apply dab of oil after each hand wash.

I've never used a treatment before, but I really like how this turned out. I'm going to get some of that Pink Gel Coat.
I though in the instructions you are only supposed to use Mavala on the tips not the bed... please explain, ty
❤❤❤I adore watching you work!

Where did you get it? What kind of brushes do the polishes have?
@@TheSalonLife I bougt it at local beauty boutique but I also see it at amazon. The brush is a thin one close to zoya.
Looks like an interesting product, is it possible to use it under shellac? Thank you as always for the precious info!

How would you compare success with Mavala K+ vs IBX treatment? Also, Dior has my favorite brushes. They make application a breeze!

Please check out my RUclips live video from yesterday. I talked about it :)
@@TheSalonLife Will do. Thanks so much!
I recently purchased the mavala polish , what a coincidence 😎
The base coat? How are you liking it?
@@TheSalonLife yes, the scientifique , I've heard it does work !
Ah! It’s not a polish. It’s a clear liquid (well, it’s actually green). Water based. It has to dry before polish application.
@@TheSalonLife yeah I know! sorry, polish wasn't a good description🌸
So what do you use in brittle nails?
Oil and hot oil soaks. Oil adds flexibility and it prevents too much water from being absorbed by the nail which causes brittleness too.
Also avoid harsh soaps. Gentle soap only. Apply dab of oil after each hand wash.
😍
great! :)
