  • Movie novelizations were a cheap way to experience a great film anytime you wanted, but they also gave you a glimpse of deleted scenes and earlier drafts of the script. Tune in as I chat about this book's author, Donald F. Glut, and look at a few scenes that differ between book and film.

I had the novel version of return of the jedi. Great video.

Thanks! I'd like to get the Star Wars and ROTJ novelizations and review them as well. I'm kicking myself for getting rid of my copy of 'Splinter of the Mind's Eye' somewhere along the line.

I also had this novel for ages, read it many times since Empire was my favorite movie. I liked the different scenes with Han and Leia in the book. What I found amusing is when I read Gone With the Wind there is a scene that is almost identical in language with Rhett and Scarlet. Coincidence?

Probably not, given the Han/Leia pose on that poster.
