The Kia Soul was THE last car that I thought I would ever think of buying. I test drove it just to confirm that I hated it and fell in love with it! Bought a 2021 soul EX in Lunar orange and I have now been waiting months since July 2022 for my new Soul GT LINE in the surf blue to be delivered. The ride is smooth, visibility is great, turns on a dime -overall fun to drive! I too am from Quebec….I love the color in the video thanks!
Two weeks into my Kia Soul GT Line and it is a huge upgrade from my 2011 Soul! (Exclaim) and I'm just loving it! Mine is Neptune Blue, which is quite a bit less showy than the Surf Blue. Thanks so much for this video and I'm glad I saw it AFTER I purchased mine because I might have been tempted to hold out for a Limited (lol) which I didn't even know existed! I def don't need the 2 extra heated seats in back since I live in the blazing hot Southern part of the U.S. and the extra wait for the Limited would have been all for nothing. Thanks again for this very informative video.
Cross the boarder and shop in the USA to save money. Kia Souls everywhere because it's what people can afford that might be comfortable enough to drive
I had a 2017 Kia Soul + in the red with black roof…LOVED IT! I currently drive a 2020 Kia Soul X-Line in Neptune blue with black roof…LOVE IT! I am looking to lease or buy the 2023 Kia Soul GT in Surf blue with the black roof…kinda bummed that you can’t get the technology package in the color though. I may just go for a red or all surf blue GT. 🤷🏼♂️
I HATE that I couldn’t get the GT technology package with my GT designer paint. I got the surf blue with the black roof but often lament not having a heated seat and ambient lighting.
does the 2023 soul have a homelink/garage door opener? I was looking at images of the car and I didn't see a button for a garage door opener so I was wondering if the 2023 model had it or not?
We seem to miss out on a lot of the cool stuff with the Korean brands. They're one of the few right now that have vastly different offerings between Canada and the US markets.
What the heck man! Why does Canada get different features than the US? I have the GT w/tech packages and don’t have ventilated seats, rear heated seats or full leather seats!!
We don't get the real GT though, with the peppier engine. Kia/Hyundai seem to be one of the only manufacturers right now that have very different offerings between the two countries, VW might be the only other one.
I have this "exact" US version also and we also do not have dual power front seats by the way. Or at least mine does not. Great review, thanks. Now can someone do a video teaching me all the features on the dash and console? :)
We don't get a heated steering wheel either in the US, which I had on my 2014 Kia Soul +. Another thing that bugs me is if you want the GT line with tech package in the US, there is no blue color option anymore.
I bought a 2023 in fusion black and when I went to stick a magnetic sticker to the back. There's no steel on the whole back! Surprised! And the heater could work a little better too. I love the Soul's. I just replaced my 2018 with new. Good cars. Definitely not a Cadillac.
Love to hate or hate to love it whatever you chose to do the Kia soul is perfect for anyone looking for a fully loaded car under that 40K mark!

Glad to hear it, thanks for sharing!
I have a '21 EX Premium and it's one of my favorite vehicles I've owned!
Nice! I have seen a lot of those in my area!
Fair enough

Not a bad idea.

I don't believe it has it.
I love it but I wish we could get the green the USA gets, as well as the black roof...Canada got nurfed

US doesn't get green anymore
Could the GT Line be outfitted with a hitch with that exhaust in the center?
An accessory hitch? Possibly, you'd have to check with the dealer.

@@gstolley I hope you are enjoying your new Soul! Even with the missing features it’s a fun ride
Yeah I was gonna go look back at rhe dealer specs about all the seats and steering wheel because I didn't remember reading any of that

I love the ex model, I don't need all that fancy stuff for $30,000 when I can get a ex for $25,000
Fair enough!
Works way better for me than the Nissan murano. I'm short

So you would buy the EV just because we are all going to be driving EV eventually? Interesting 🤔😅
