For those who own this vehicle like myself, I highly recommend having a front strut bar installed which links the left and right suspension strut towers for better handling and balance since this vehicle is front wheel drive. It reinforces and stiffens up the chassis and makes it more stable by reducing chassis flex. It also counters the flaw found in MacPherson Strut. I've really noticed the difference specially when cornering. It's also easy to install and not that expensive either.
Hi, Rav4 LTD just got its price reduced by 350k. Do you guys think CRV Hybrid will also follow a price-cut? Doesn't sound lucrative anymore if Rav4 is 300k+ cheaper than CRV.
Toyota price cut is driven by tariff free for hybrid shipped from Japan recently signed by the president. CRV is already at zero tariff as it is shipped from Thailand (ASEAN trade). If HCPI will not cut price, lilipat mga buyers sa RAV4. Now, the RAV4 LTD variant is cheaper than this car. Toyota hybrid is the best in the world. Mas malaki engine and most specially may full size spare tire. Unlike this CRV that only comes with tire inflator 😂
Para mas matipid daw sa gas at mas mura dahil mahal masyado ang AWD tapos hybrid. Pero sa ibang bansa meron sila nung AWD tapos hybrid niyan, tapos nasa 2.3M lang kapag converted to Pesos. 😄
For the rear, I 100% want hard-wearing surfaces on things like rear doors...they're a family car, and kids are brutal with anything. Much less susceptible to damage than the soft-touch like the front occupants get...very sensible decision from Honda to do this imo.
I'm not sure though at 2.6m there are cars better equipped, better power and more premium materials interior wise. I question Honda's decision to have all their cars comes with CVT, which reliability is a huge question mark. Will it last like it use to? I doubt it.
@@user-zc1dx5dv5u Yes that's true. But doesn't change the fact that Honda's lineup are all CVT's. I may have missed this particular hybrid with e-cvt, but the rest non hybrids are all cvt's, including CR-V's other variants.
@@user-zc1dx5dv5u Then you must have been misinformed. Subaru CVT's has been plagued with issues for years between 2010 to 2018. Subaru CVT's are known to fail between 90k - 150k. Oh not to mention Nissan's CVT massive failures with overheating, whining noise, shuddering, premature failures, poor response and etc etc which is not exclusive to only nissan. Honda CVT's between 2010-2016 also have known reliability issues. Do you know why generally honda cars horsepower are not very high? it's because CVT's can't take much torque. They generally can't take anything above 300nm. if you look at their technical specs, 250nm is probably max load. Over the years, CVT from many brands are a huge problem with major failures. Also, CVT's have the rubber band effect during acceleration. Not only that, it also displays quite a bit of delay as well. Granted, over the years CVT's has improved but a conventional torque converter automatic is still much more reliable than a cvt. The only thing CVT is good at is probably the smoothness and fuel economy, when it doesn't fail or break. Forgot to mention, CVT's require higher demand for maintenance.
Just went to a local Honda Dealership and the VX variant is a 7seater. They said that the reason the RS isnt is because it had to accommodate the larger battery, placed at the supposed rear seats. Also, the VX is an AWD while being a bit cheaper. That could be your option!
With that price and no spare they should have added run flats.. after a decade with Honda I’m just about had it… a utility vehicle without utility of a spare?
Saw this on the road.. On a quick glance, it looks too small especially at its price point of 2.6M. Is it just me or Japanese Cars nowadays are no longer have the " value for money" vibe..
With its price point. Parang mas sulit bilhin yung prev gen CRV Top spec. Especially kung hindi mo naman kailangan yung Hybrid. Anyways nice review very detailed and straightforward. Sana ikaw nalang nag review nung Raptor kesa dun kay Manong na Toyota fanboy😂😂😂
2nd hand base variant after 5 yrs lol! goodluck replacing the battery for the rs aftrr 8 yrs it would cost an arm and a leg. so this would be a bad deal in the 2nd hand market down the line
I don’t like what Honda does to the 2nd row interior. Some, even the seats are made up of a totally different and cheap material. Just take out the panoramic sunroof and un-black the wheels. But then again as Honda guys say, “Pag Honda walang sinasakay sa likod.” Hahaha
Most handsome crv gen so far but the most expensive as well. Would be a rare sight here in PH.
I spotted one, a white RS variant, in Dahican, Mati, Davao oriental. such a beautiful car!
Just got one today

You got the hybrid?
any recommendation where we can get one? and can the installation be done DIY?
Matanong ko lang, tubeless ba ang crv or my interrior?
Reviewers often confuse Honda's RS trim with other brands' rallye sport trims. For Honda, its the confortable trim - RS means "Road Sailing".
Can you also review the base variant? Thanks

i love the looks though especially in the normal variant and rs variant 😍😌
I'm a CRV fan. But my gripe for this top of the line variant is the lack of AWD system. Why Honda why?
legit, on other countries its 4wd
And for that price !?
I get you but I don’t mind. AWD takes a hit on the fuel consumption. Currently at 19.6km/l on the hybrid FWD model.

Dynamic force - toyota. Atkinson - honda. Now. How long will the honda ecvt dual clutch last? Maintenance?
Looks similar too with the new ford teritory, crv still the best, in my opinion, im a honda fan 😅
What is the battery size / capacity?
this or the AWD VX?
Is this in the US?
In terms of power and torque which is better variant rs hybrid or vx turbo sir?
hybrid i got one
bat po pala walang AWD Top of the Line variants?

I gagged when u said “if we or doctors will approve”
awesome Honda Vehicle my Favorite CRV RS eHEV and the HRV Turbo
They regressed the gear shifter
most gorgeous looking among crvs, and I agree the wheels size and design do not match the overall looks and look dated vs. its rivals.

Why did honda did not lowered the prices of there hybrids like toyota and the others due to new tax exemption by the president?
I wish they didn't use fske vents
They’re not fake. The front vent/air intake continues into the wheels
The hood size is a little too long for me. It looks like a duck😅
Now that you mention it, hard to unsee

Honda ZRV is better
Wow doc.. Do you really need to remind us you're a doctor..
Still Mazda CX-60 ❤
Front looks like brv

mazda cx 5 is better
honda fanboy 🤣 better in sales only cause it's cheaper
2.5million honda crv is not cheap 😅, cx5 is way cheaper than crv
Or wait for the CX-60 with updated (smoother) transmission.
but only few are interested in mazda. Mazda's sales are lagging, and you hardly ever see one on the road
No one cares about Mazda.😂
