I really don’t understand that. And I might not have kids but I had a “mom” just like that one sitting on that couch claimed she was so stressed and tired but had 7 kids back to back and guess what didn’t raise none of us wasn’t in none of our lives. But yet resents us.

It looked so hard for mom to say I love YOU, she jus kept saying I love my kids...its almost like she didn't want to let go of her ego and let this child feel loved by her one on one! The pride of " she kno I love her" is wat was keeping her from directing her love towards only her in tht moment!
In the 2nd…you can’t convince me the mama likes or even loves Alexis. It’s unfortunate but some moms simply don’t like some or all of their children and nothing they do can change it not even positive acts and achievements will change that. Lashing out and rebelling is sooo normal of scapegoats and it alternates between lashing out and doing everything you think you’re supposed to make the family proud/make mom love you. The bad behavior at 12 is a typical psychosocial response to being rejected by the person/s who you love the most and are supposed to love you. Moms body language, demeanor (and her word choice) said it all. The oldest is the golden child. Alexis IS the scapegoat, aka the family punching bag and the twins are very clearly the forgotten ones. Typical dysfunctional and narcissistic household. Sad case 😢

As someone with a hard edged mother I found it really hard to get along with her growing up. when i came back to the house after uni i realised that those times where i thought she was being rude or agressive, it was just the way she spoke. Noticing that i was able to hold a conversation with her without feeling like shes belittling me and I've been able to pass that to my siblings and it's honestly lifted the whole family dynamic. The mom doesn't like being challenged, and yes, I am a single mom of four as well, and I have twin girls myself, so I am speaking from a mother's perspective as well. Work on it. Mothers aren't always right if you don't realize your opinion isn't all that matters. What you do affects your children. Stop traumatizing these kids. Get help get healing.

You can not love your children all the same. You have to love them in accordance to their personality. Some may not love to be loved and some wants a lot of love. Even the ones who dont like love, give it to them anyway

The mom may have showed favoritism way before she started truly started acting out and that’s part of the reason why. It’s sad that you can truly tell the mother is so nonchalant and overlooks Alexis the most. Karamo confirmed it in the beginning of the showing stating that she is so bubbly. I see part of the reason for the mom too is due to Alexis have an outgoing/bubbly personality but her siblings being the opposite of coming off more reserved.

The oldest is grateful because the mom was there when she was sick. The twins knew what was going on and stayed out the way. Alexis did things to cry out for love and unfortunately mom didn’t see it. What kills me the most is I lost my mother when I was 19 years old. I’m 52 years old. I had to raise myself as a woman. I had to learn how to be a mother by myself as a woman my mom was my best friend I would give any part of my bod just to have her back. but I know that will never happen. Get some counseling fix your relationship because I’m telling you when your mother is gone she is gone there’s no coming back. Watching things like this breaks my heart because there are days that I feel like I was robbed I only had 19 years.

I'm an only child & my mom is the same way . Sometimes their ego & pride is just to strong to hear you out or to admit where they went wrong. Ive decided to just have a surface level relationship with her let her believe she's right & I'm wrong. Help her when I can & just live my life without her. I will work on myself internally so I don't end up like her. Sometimes it just is what it is.

This mother don’t like her daughter. If she dies it is buried way down deep. She is a “do as I say because I’m the adult” type person regardless of how she treat her kids. My mom didn’t hug, kiss or compliment us at all. If she was mad we were “ugly” and often she told us if she would have known we were girls she would have had all boys. She was an addict until the day she died. I chose to live with my grandparents at 11 years old. It was like I mov d off the planet. No new clothes or shoes for school, no personal items ever, no money for school trips or projects. She literally smoked up every pay check. It was embarrassing. I went away to college at 16. Never turned back.
7 months is getting to know each other. I know I was gonna marry my fiance and I told him that within 3 months. But we both agreed let’s have a dating period. Then we got engaged a year later and moved intogether. We getting married on our 3rd year. It takes time
