You can also eliminate the need to time anything if you have the direction held prior to getting hit. Double shielding lets you do that within shield without accidentally rolling.

You still have to time the footstool with DSC and it actually leaves you open to a lot more misinputs. I made a whole video explaining why DSC isn't good for footstool oos on my twitter if you want to check it out

I tried practicing that with the vainilla train mode, setting a forward smash, but it is hard, there is a lot of shieldstun which makes hard to get the footstool neatly

It doesn't work on grounded moves, only landing aerials. You can't footstool someone while they are in end lag of a move, but you can footstool people during landing lag which is why that's the case

@@pawp_ssbOn the vanilla game I think that if you have Min Min selected and set to side smash she actually Nairs if you launch her upward. Can’t remember what move but there is a Twitter post showing it.
