- I had been searching for a 1975 930 for quite some time when I found a right hand drive one for sale in Australia. 1975 was the first year Porsche sold the 911 Turbo. They only made 285 and only 15 were right hand drive, so this is one rare car. Luckily my buddies at Autohaus Hamilton were able to go and check out the car for me and ship it my way. I'm pretty lucky to now have a 1975 Turbo in both left and right hand drive.

As an owner of several classic 911s, I can say I couldn't agree more with Magnus. My 3.0 turbo is an intoxicating drive, not to mention every time I open the garage, it puts a smile on my face. I'm glad my 10yr old son feels the same way about it as I do :-)
I have had three 914’s, I still have one and a Porsche 986 first gen. The hunger, appetite, desire for a 911 will never been cured until I get one.
It's kinda sad that youtubers that simply talk about their super cars with exhaust modifications get more views than videos like this
It’s because cars like this have become so evenly cost prohibitive that people don’t want to watch videos about a car they’ll never be able to buy.
Because everyone owns a car. So you can just say you’re a car guy without giving a thought about the history or actually giving into true love for cars.
I just love old vintage cars. They have soul .It is purely you and the car, no electronic aid .
My buddy Steve was lucky enough to tour Porsche with Grant Larson - all 3 of us being Wisconsin boys. Proud of what Grant has done for Porsche. One the cool things my buddy learned on the tour is that the older factory workers as they get seniority they get to become the test pilots, so when the car rolls of the line, those guys get to take them out into the streets of Stuttgart to push them and make sure they perform. He also said that Porsche builds their engines in a fashion where each one is made by one technician from start to finish for continuity and quality control. Super cool shit.

hell of a car the Porsche 911 turbo,still remember the days that the beast came out for the road, a lot of people couldnt dominate it and crashed or killed themselves in the Turbo. the Porsche you have to respect!!!

930s is one of my dream cars. The price on those are just astronomical atm. I agree 100% with Magnus. I couldn’t have said it any better. Turn key, and just drive! However, I prefer a manual gearbox.

If you are going to rebuild, restore your 944 please start with the foundation of the car. Timing belt, all front engine seals, tensioner, belts water pump, low temp thermostat, thermo fan switch, proper coolant flush, refill and burp the system. proper oil filter with check valve, fix any power steering leaks, brakes, links, bushings! Then hit your cosmetics, rims,paint stance and whatever look you want. so many people add rims, boy racer interior crap, muffler,etc and the cars are crap, won't run right, drive right,overheat,etc. Good luck!

Since I saw a 930 as a three-year-old in 1980, I have been dreaming about owning one. Still do. But I still cannot afford one, because these are going up in price like crazy. And now I know why - collectors are hoarding them.

With out a doubt, the Original version to me looks better with the polished outer lips on the Rims, with the glossy black five Spokes, the most iconic thing about a Porsche, is from its Evolution until now, is A 911 will always look like a 911.

Magnus Walker if you haven't been to Vancouver, it's worth the trip too.
So basically Magnus took the chance away from any right hand driver to get a Porsche that has right hand driving, and Magnus uses it to drive in a place where he should drive left hand car.
"Sorry mate, if ya wish to get one, you will have to get left hand one, because I took one of the limited right hand ones."
Btw, comparison with new and old phones doesn't work :D Nobody likes old phones, there is nothing in them. If anyone uses, it's because of few reasons - they have hard time to adapt to new one, they think the old ones cannot be traced nor bugged, basically thinking old is safer, and they don't need all the stuff that comes with new phones. It's way different with cars, you can see the body shape, the wheels...basically the general look. Then there's the sound and engineering. There are a lot of things that can be appreciated by owning an old sports car vs using an old phone.
