Glad the yellow car is running so much better - GREAT shot of the deer at the end of the video - just a reminder to never leave early, you never know what you might miss!
Yes.. I was telling him he needs to move to upper Michigan, it's legal here and very remote. This will be the second time he came here, very cool dude.
Hey, you have the same type of No Left Turn light that I found yesterday in Lucasville, Ohio. At 6:11 in your video you can see it flashing. I was just showing one like it in my video from yesterday. You are actually in my video from yesterday. I was watching your live broadcast when a train came and you can hear yourself talking in the background if you listen closely. I was just getting ready to type something when a train came
The line you mention was the Chicago & NorthWestern. It ran as far west as Ashland, via Iron River, Watersmeet, Ironwood, amongst others. Milwaukee Road had a pool agreement with C&NW for serving the mines of the Menominee Range west of Iron Mountain.
Sweet as can be!!! Not live streaming, but my opinion!!! You do awesome without sending live! Keep what you feel is my thought! love your shots through the town along the road!!! Sweet deer foraging!
Speaking of Alter Metal, on my way home from doc appt this a.m., an Alter Metal semi-truck turned in front of me (legally, on a green arrow). I have no idea if theres an Alter Metal facility in the Springfield Illinois area. 501 sure sounded like a super-sized cat "meowing" at the Summer Breeze crossing 😸😸❗
I did a Google map search of Northern Iron Mountain. It looks to me like the old switch there by Dickinson Homes used to have track that ran parallel to the existing ELS track then swing a little east and ducked under the bridge featured in the video. So I assume it's abandoned Milwaukee Road track.
Another fine ELS video! I would prefer if you never did a live stream, but just my opinion. Do what works for you and I'll continue to subscribe and watch.
I don’t like live streaming. You never know what Joe blow is going to walk into the moment and ruin it. Did the engineer blow the horn downtown for that father and son watching?
I didn't think that your live stream was very good. TOO much shaking and such. Zoom in and stay zoomed in for a while. I love your videos always, just stating the fact that live streams suck
I'm talking about regular crossings where they can blow their horn. Seems like they're a couple of yards away from the road and then they start blowing it
I really think they blew the horn due to they can't see if there are any vehicles at that crossing because of the building and no crossing gates[blind crossing to train crew and vehicles at crossing]. So they just give a short blast of the horn to warn anyone at the crossing a train is getting close to crossing the highway. Traincrews discretion to tap on the horn or not, as I believe these are NO TRAIN HORN zones. This crossing SHOULD NEVER have been a NO TRAIN HORN ZONE!

Afro Man lives out here near me. He lives just outside of Winchester, Ohio where I film the CCET all the time.

I thought I was a cool dude once, but now I'm a cold dud!

I’ve snowmobiled on that old CNW grade across the UP many times Imagining what it was like to build and run trains back in the early 1900’s
Glad you found a repair shop that knows what all they R doin'.
Looks like a nice day there.

Very cool bridge. Nice to hear that chugga chugga of the approaching train before you see it.
Good shot of the bridge & info.

Good video job Jason (as always)
When I lived in Florence in the late 70's, The Chicago Northwestern went through there, at least that's what I remember.
The motor mount issue might be all those RR crossings you've flown over. ;) Love your work.
Nice shot of the "puma food"

After I thought the video was over, there are some shots of beautiful white tails. One looks like he is just growing his antlers.
Another fine ELS video! I would prefer if you never did a live stream, but just my opinion. Do what works for you and I'll continue to subscribe and watch.
I'm glad you didn't bust the bank with car repairs, it's not that hard to do these days.
It would have been funny to see the deer run around on the track, lol.
Seeing white tail deer [we have black tail out here] little reminder that it's a big country.
Anybody else see the white streak go straight down while talking about the mega log haulers? Like a meteorite. Right at 4:41.
Those deer look a little thin.
Do you suppose the road salt had anything to do with the motor mount breaking?
No, studs broke. Clean breaks.
an orange freddy on the back of train and some Deer looking for food thanks Jason nice Video!

Why are they so cheap with their horn? I think they're just asking for trouble
No Horn Zones.

Afroman coming I sure hope he plays the Hunter Biden song
Train Horn @ 6:20 +/-?

I'm pretty sure that was the 2nd car in line at the crossing honking at the first car for stopping 😆😆
@@HD4lyfe I wondered, hense the question….🙃
I like the short videos best. And I had a motor mount break on a vehicle.
