After receiving my C8 in January,I purchased an electric power washer and a foam cannon from Griot`s Garage. Since I also have PPF on the front and ceramic coating on the entire car,I bought Carpro Reset shampoo since it is pH neutral. For best foaming results, make sure you have softer water and high enough water pressure. I really like Pan the Organizer`s RUclips channel. He does a really good job of reviewing detailing techniques and materials/equipment for detailing.
Thanks for the tips! I definitely should have gotten one of these along time ago. I couldn’t believe how little soap that it used compared to what it sprays out.
@@everjeff Check out Pan the Organizer. He has really good tips including how to get a thick shaving cream foam,if that is what you like. He is very knowledgeable and has a background in chemistry.
what kind of soap did you put in there and at what dilution? that foam looked super watery. I have a cheap 20$ foam cannon and a ebay special pressure washer and the foam is pretty thick on it. your foam should be way thicker from my past experience from using foam cannons. let me know what dilution you're running and what soap. you might have to adjust the foam cannon by turning the cannon tip to adjust the degree angle of the foam cannon
I used the Chemical Guys Sticky Snowball soap but you are 💯 correct I didn’t dilute the soap enough. Lesson learned! It does have an adjustment and I noticed a difference when dialing it in when we did the Z06.
@@everjeff glad to see you’re having fun with the foam cannon. That corvette appreciates it for sure. You should look up DIY Detail ceramic gloss. It’ll make that paint really pop
Something is wrong, soap should look like shaving cream. Reread the directions. Could be the adjuster nob on the gun was not on max, or you didn't add enough soap? Check other RUclips videos!
Definitely user error. 1. I didn’t dilute the soap properly. 2. Adjusting the non definitely helps the spray range and thickness. Even with these two issues it was way more foam than I ever had using the water-hose attachment sprayer. I will be ready to go next time!
No issues. I used the 45° tip and you could put your hand a foot in front of the nozzle and the spray was soft. Now if you used the 0° or 15° you wouldn’t want to get right up on the panels but I have full Xpel PPF and ceramic and it was great. I was very surprised at how little soap the foam cannon used. A gallon of soap will last a long time.
Excellent. I use it about every other week. The only complaint I’ve had is the tray that holds the different tips, it pops off pretty easy so I put some tape around the ends to make it stay a little secure.
This was more of user error. I didn’t dilute the mixture very much but there’s also an adjustment in the foam cannon itself that will allow a much thicker layer of foam.
Comical guys . Complete dog sh!t. Watery with almost no foam . Active 2.0 pressure washer. Uberflex hose. Mckillans swivel gun. Griot boss foam cannon is the way to go. Adam's mega foam for ph balance lubricity or bilt hamber touchless for true foam cleaning power.
Sounds like a nice set up. This was our first time using the pressure washer so I have learned a few things to try on the next wash which should give me better foam results.
Shit product never buy this. barely used and went thru two of them already. they take forever to process a return and dont extend warranty when sending a new one so seems to be on purpose. I maybe got 10-15 car washes out of each powerwasher before they leaked out of bottom, couldnt retain pressure, just sucks
Sorry to hear you have had issues. Mine is still doing well. I’ve used it about 30 times so we will see how long it lasts. My only complaint so far was with the snubby gun. The quick disconnect falls apart very easily with having a plastic cover.
Wow I need one of these everyone that wants to save money and do it yourself this is the way to go 👍🏽
thank you for this.. im going to buy that thing..
I used it a couple of days ago to pressure wash the driveway and sidewalk worked great too
Thanks for the review and demonstration Everjeff. I’m looking to get a good foam cannon and electric pressure washer, so perfect timing. 👍

Thank you! We are loving it!

Jeff. Any concern using this with a car that has PPF or ceramic coat ?
As always appreciate ya.

Was thinking about getting this, how has it held up over the past few months??
