Salman Sahab - I want to correct you Sir, Prithvi is a name of our missile not in the memory of Prithviraj Chauhan. Our missiles are like Trishul, Agni, Prithvi are not names of any historical figures. These names have a huge significance right from the days of Vedas. Pakistan may be justifying to name its missile Ghauri as he had defeated Prithviraj. Sir you can google this for further information.
@@salmanrashid8880 .... additionally the Prithvi means earth ....our missiles are named after the elements....akash means Sky, Agni mean fire......also Nag means snakes .....too bad that Pakistan doesn't have heroes of its own to name their missiles thats why they need to name them after Afghans or Turks....that too the same people who had attacked, looted and destroyed what's now pakistan
@@nit23sharma That is understood and thank you very much for the clarification. But on our side, the name was not without reason. It had to be connected to Prithviraj Chauhan. And that is what I imply.
Sir, I would like to make a small correction. The 'Prithvi' missile in India is not named after Prithviraj Chauhan. But is named to signify earth, which is called 'Prithvi' in sanskrit.
An other clearification Sir India never named their missile on Pirithivi Raj Chohan, Rather intelligently given named the missiles after 5 elements. Prithivi = Earth Akash = Sky
Sir very sorry to correct you the place where Gauri defeated Prithviraj chouhan is " Tarain " not Taran Taaran. It is a place between Kurukshetra and Karnal in India on the national highway no 1 which was made by Sher shah suri and runs from Peshawar to Calcutta (Now called Kolkatta). This highway was first called Grand trunk road but now has been known as Sher Shah Suri Marg after the name of its maker. "Tarain" in hindi is written and spoken as " Tara-wadi " and is famous for its Basmati rice and rice shelling machines. This Basmati rice is of very high quality and mostly exported to gulf countries. Taran taaran is a place in punjab near Amritsar and close to indo- pak border.
For me it's fine Sir ! Prithvi relevance with Prithvi Raj Chauhan you might have heard off there. However Rajput chivalry is no doubt ultimate in history. Would like to mention Sir that in a book its mentioned that first Johar of Indian history happened in Sindh Brahmanabad during MBQ invasion in Sindh.
Vivek Mundhe is right about the names of Indian missiles. Also want to add one more fact that Dr. A. Q. Khan named the missile Ghauri and built this mausoleum because he claimed that he was of the descendants of Shahab-ud-din Ghauri.
Sorry to Salman Sir , Pls rectify your information. Indian nuclear missile Prithvi is not named after Prithvi Raj Chauhan. "Prithvi" means Earth in Sankrit/Hindi. According to ancient Indian book Rigveda , "Akash(sky) , Vayu (Hava) , Agni (Aag) , Jal (Paani) and Prithvi (Earth) respectively are the cosmological elements of Prakriti (Universe) . So Prithvi , Agni , Akash missiles are named after this not on Prithvi Raj Chauhan ji's name.
Jahangir’s entails were similarly removed and buried in Kashmir when he died on way to Lahore from Srinagar. The place is known as Chingus. It is on the old mughal road from Bufliaz to Shopian.

Great narration and myth-debunking, as always! It's really sad how the carving of national identity was done (for) by the armed forces and scientists.
Sir “Prithvi” I guess was used in reference to “earth” as in the five elements. It was followed by “Agni “ I.e. fire 🔥
On his way to unwind myths
Johar done by Rajput ladies , sikhs and Marathas prevented India to completely Islamicise.
