Hi everyone 👋 Rachel's sister here. Thank you all for taking the time to watch the update on my temperature quilt and all of your kind words ❤️ this is my first quilt as you go project, talk about jumping in at the deep end! I'm really enjoying it and have been learning as I go with lots of help from Rachel x
Hi Rachels sister. Thank you for sharing your progress on your quilt. These are beautiful fabrics. Looking forward to see more. And also more of Rachels quilt. 😊
What a cute quilt. I made a crochet temperature blanket a few years ago and it was fun. I am in Illinois and the temperature varied from minus 15 F to 107F that year and I had a color for every five degrees so it was colorful!
Absolutely gorgeous! The patterns are stunning. I would love to try this. I think it would be less stressful than the traditional way. How many yards of fabrics is used for this project?
Absolutely inspirational! The William Morris fabrics are gorgeous. Could I ask where you got them from? (I am about to start my first quilt as you go project following Rachel’s tutorials and using Tilda fabrics and the templates she recommended. But would love to find the William Morris fabrics too!). I’m in France..
Could this be achieved with triangles, lm disabled and this may be an easier solution for me to manage, as l would like to make a bedspread thankyou for your video Sylvie ❤❤
@WhatMarjorieMade I love colors of your squares. Are you stitching the top square to the bottom square before turning the bottom square fabric over the top square or are you stitching it together after you fold over the bottom square fabric?
Hello there, the front pieces are 2.5" but I cannot give you the outer measurements as she used templates that are especially designed for this, they are a paid for product so giving that information would be like giving away a paid for pattern. I hope you understand this
@@stitchwithrachelHi Rachel, Would you be able to share with me the name of the pattern that your sister purchased so that I would be able to purchase it also? I live in the USA. Thank you so much.
@dare2dreambig313 good afternoon, she is using daisy and grace quilt as you go templates. Available from MSQC. I'll add the link for you... glnk.io/mzmmj/stitchwithrachel

What a great idea. Would you tell me please the size of the blocks?
Thank you, they are 3 inch square
Could this be achieved with triangles, lm disabled and this may be an easier solution for me to manage, as l would like to make a bedspread thankyou for your video Sylvie ❤❤
Yeah absolutely, the quilt is made using templates from a company called daisy and grace and I think they have some triangle templates
Lovely colours, just wanted to ask, I take it the template you are using is 2in sq, how many are you joining across and how many down will it be.
Hi 👋 I'm using a 3inch template and my quilt will be 21 blocks wide and 17 rows deep x
@WhatMarjorieMade I love colors of your squares. Are you stitching the top square to the bottom square before turning the bottom square fabric over the top square or are you stitching it together after you fold over the bottom square fabric?
Are you using same color thread for all of it?
Can you please ask your sister how big the square pieces were before sewing? front pieces and back pieces?
Hello there, the front pieces are 2.5" but I cannot give you the outer measurements as she used templates that are especially designed for this, they are a paid for product so giving that information would be like giving away a paid for pattern. I hope you understand this
