"If you put it in hot water it's okay."
*Oh no that lady with the callus remover!* 😂
My god! She's never heard of cheese grater?
I would not want to eat whatever she made with that
I'm confused, I never seen the show, just these clips. Is this like that make a dish from home and bring it to the tryouts like american Idol style or they cooked it in a provided kitchen?the home choice would explain why she's not using a cheese grater
@@christophertom5552 So they cook a dish at home and bring it to the audition then once accepted they compete to see who will go from being one of the worst cooks in America to one of the best home cooks by the end of the show. The person who wins gets a large money prize.
@@naiadolling got it, that explains it, thanks.
"Banana peels, i think, strengthen the flavor of the rice!"
"You mean, banana leaves....right?"
I live in asian country when he say like korean use banana peel i was flabbergasted. Then the chef said LEAF i laughed cried🤣. That is much more sense as in my country banana leaves are use to wrap things and steamed or grill. Lol
@@Tofunekouhai what he was taking about slightly sunk in before she talked when the guy mentioned coconuts. Boy when the lady finally spoke I just couldn't 🤣
Must have been thinking about another type of banana, specifically the kind that attract vengeful ninjas in red.
I mean I was so confused man since coconuts and bananas aren’t native to Korea Japan China and other surrounding countries so I was actually for some reason flabbergasted the whole day I don’t know why though hmm
@A Hooman Girl omg ur so young, be careful on here! Don’t get too close and definitely don’t say your age!
Guy cutting hot potatoes in glass bowl might not be the best cook, but his voice says he has a future singing blues.
cause hes black?
@@paige6029 Probably cause what he sang and the ranges sounded like blues type of music.
Slice that potato. 1:02 - 1:08
The baking dish rejected the food
LMAO 😂😂😂 I was just thinking the same thing..
After reading this comment, my life is complete
It committed suicide
Imagine what the cleaning staffs have to through after every episodes taken. May lord with them.
Shout out to the exploding baking dish in the oven, I didnt even think of the nightmare the cleanup would be until you pointed it out! ☠️☠️☠️
All the cross contamination! Meat juices everywhere! Burnt on. Wonder how many pans they have to throw away per season. How can any adult consumer of food have less than zero instincts when in the kitchen? Don't they ever pay attention to what's in whatever they're eating?
Kitchen shears are a thing. Alton Brown for life
Maybe not for meat though... I use mine mostly for herbs
@@IonIsFalling7217 really good for butchering chicken.
@@IonIsFalling7217 i do it sometimes when the meat is thin. If the meat is thick, I don't think I wanna use it
Yeah but you don't use them for everything!
@@IonIsFalling7217 I used mine to spatchcock a turkey (removing the spine)
Gordon wouldn't last a week on this show
He would not last an hour..I am getting angry and I hardly get angry...he would've imploded🤣
honestly, i would want to see gordon on this show. i could already see him face palming in disbelief
"YOU DONUT"
nah, after 1 look at everyone, he would just decide to leave
He would walk in and just leave
After watching this, I would like to thank my parents for teaching me how to cook
😂
Same ☀️
After watching this I would like to thank my parents for common sense.
After this i would like to thank myself for figuring out how to cook
My parents are these people
Are these staged, am having a hard time believing they are truly like that.
ikr? one would be really stupid to be that.
I really wish that this is staged!
No it isn't lol. I know a lot of people who are actually worse than that😅🥴
Im not an expert cook myself, but tjat just looka horrible
*remembers that time my friend microwaved an egg* ...yep, totally staged
It's easier to cut a lot of foods with kitchen shears. They're actually meant for that. There's nothing wrong with number 7. People around the world use kitchen shears like everyone of them did and also with other foods.
I agree! I would also hope that they washed it after they cut chicken for example 😆
Yeah, I have no problems with the scissors one. Go to a Korean bbq, and that's what you use to cut meat.
Seriously, cutting bacon directly into the pan using kitchen shears is one of the best kitchen "hacks" ever.
@@sirah1282 I hope so too. That's the part to worry about!
@@christophertom5552 Exactly. It's easier and quicker to cut the meat like that and let it keep cooking.
The literal banana peel, WHAT! 😂
Yeah in Korean culture they cook their dishes on banana peels and coconut.. hahahahahaha aaa.. I wheezed..😂🍌
"He cut chicken with scissor"
"He cut jalapeno with scissor"
*Cut STEAK with scissor*
"Ohh look at that.."
The guy slicing potatoes in a bowl made my heart warm 😂 honestly these ppl are so precious and lost 🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Slice up the potatoes 🎼, oh I need a bigger kNiFe... slice up the potatoes”
So this is what my Mom sees when my dad thinks of cooking the family a dinner.
The comment we all required but never knew the importance of...😂😂
The scissors are genius tho. In Korean or Japenese cooking, they do cut meats with it, but cooked ones because you ruin the scissors if it was raw.
I’ve always seen them used on crab or lobster shells.
True
Exactly
its modern cooking though!!. in no way ever traditional japanese or korean ever use scissor as part of cutting meat.
i also seen southeast asian use scissors to cut meat strips and bread
How would raw meat ruin scissors? Either way tho kitchen shears aren’t expensive so I wouldn’t be worried
At this point, I don't even trust any of them to get me a glass of water!😂
The woman probably would put callus in it
@@laerramarie2620 ohh please nooo!😂
@@laerramarie2620 LOL
0:15 I'm Korean and this is a new culture that I heard of. LMAO
the dude was ripping chicken with his hands, like call the PoLiCe! dudes a serial killer.
Me : watches one video
Also me : dont be shy put some more
The guy slicing the potatoes was actually pretty good at singing
The scissors thing actually is really common in many parts of the world- its just mostly used for vegetables. so the guy cutting a pepper with scissors isnt far off the mark
But would you use that same pair to cut raw meat after, without washing it off?
I cut a lot of food with scissors, but only because my kitchen is too small for a cutting board and large knife - SRO living sux when you want to cook properly.
I cut spring onions and other small herbs with scissors. Occasionally, I’ll cut certain beef cuts with scissors if I’m making a Korean dish. But most often I use a knife.
Unless your available prep surface is the size of a postage stamp, I don't believe you.
But even if, put your cutting board on whatever table you eat at for prep and carry it to the stove for cooking?
@@szeddezs SRO living.
No stove. No oven. A counter that bare has enough room to hold the mini microwave. A mini sink. A claustrophobic bathroom with even more claustrophobic shower and a toilet. A bed. A dresser. Two feet to walk.
THIS REMINDS ME OF SAUSAGE PARTY WHEN THE FOOD WAS IN THE KITCHEN AND THE LADY WAS KILLING THE VEGETABLES LMFAOOOO...😂😂😂
The boiled omelet is a thing and does work! My momma taught me that trick whenever we went camping.
You can also so it without the bag. But 2 be fair it Works pretty good
Yep i also used to make it like that in my uni days
wrong kind of bag though, it melted all over the pot
@@QuikVidGuy We used the ziploc freezer bags
This hurts to watch but I can’t stop watching it
Bobby Flay just had to put his head down like 'bruh' lmao
Can the singing potato guy please sing "A Change Is Gonna Come"?
That would slay my life.
Her face after she said "banana leaves" 🤣 0:24
Everyone: slicing meat with scissors
That one dude: Proceed to cut a sweet potato
this poor people... I hope this series/tv show will teach “them”. It would be a nice comparison of before and after.
It is a competition show, but they are given lessons every episode, and by the time it gets to the final two they're making high class multicourse meals that you'd expect to see on a normal cooking show. It is really great
OMG WITH THE CALLUS REMOVER HAHAHAHA! I HOPE THAT THE ONE WHO INVENTED THAT CHEESE GRATER WILL BRING HER PEACE 😂
It's the confidence in the chaos that kills me. I mean....I'm no 5 star chef but the first time I cooked I at least knew how to cut a chicken and what type of dish is Suitable for hot temperatures and ovens.
1:14 The baking dish opted to destroy itself rather than continue cooking her terrible food.
Baking dish be like: *reject dish, return to glass shard*
lol "its like a arts and crafts project" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
me being ten and can cook way better than them: ameteurs
Your profile made it even funnier 🤣
they aren't even worthy of that the title "amateurs"
Holy Jesus, your ten? They cannot even make eggs!
bruh i’m 12 and even i know that you don’t do this stuff. OVEN-PROOF GLASS IS OVEN-PROOF FOR A REASON
Ikr I made my mom's b-day cake with homemade fondant and it didn't fall over or stick to the pan lol
Sooo...
Exactly what choosing process do they go through to select the contestants????????!
Usually relatives suggest people for these things. Or at least that is what was done in our version of "worst driver".
Pikkabuu I love the Canada’s worst driver series 😂 I wish it was on tv in America but I settle for old episodes on RUclips!
Tell me about it lol
Yeah, they show in the first episode, most of the contestants either enter themselves because they know they're awful cooks, or their families enter them so that they have a chance to eat real food for once.... the contestants often bring something they cooked to the audition.... it's just as bad as you'd expect
In fact, the clip with the callous remover looks like it was probably her audition
These videos just make me feel good about myself and proves that I'm not the worst and I actually think I might be a chef compared to these people 😂😂
I want gordon to be in this show as a guess judge of some sort. Just wanna see his reaction, i think it'll be memorable i bet.
It would leave someone traumatized
This whole video could have just been Asaf's cooking throughout his season 😂😂😂
*Food Network* Looks so amazing there!
I use sometimes kitchen shears to cut chicken and pork for stir fry or deboning chicken.
Motto of 2020: oh, so I guess that's not gonna work out too well...
These got to be some of the nicest people on the planet
Honestly, I don't wanna believe that this is the dominant species on this planet
I'm starting to wonder if each celebrity chef committed a crime or something and this is their community service?
Cause I'd call the police on cruel and unusual punishment...
I know I could never be a chef but at least I have enough common sense to make sure I don't poison myself and guest and nobody get hurt
I can hear Gordon yelling "DISGUSTING" from his house...
When you're a glass dish and you would rather shatter than be assaulted by awful food
These people are so confident in their cooking..
My friend was learning to cook and she shattered a baking dish too. Lol I'm still not convinced it wasn't a serving dish.
If you want to put something hot in a glass dish it had better be tempered glass, e.g. Pyrex or Anchor Hocking. Even tempered glass will shatter if there is too sudden a temperature change or too great a temperature difference between one part and another. This can happen if you put something cold in a hot dish or put a dish under a broiler or directly on a stove burner, a grill, or a flame.
LOVE this program❤
Oh cmon, I use my kitchen shears quite a bit. Maybe for more things than I’d like to admit, but it works.
I'm curious as to how a bigger knife can help in mashing those potatoes up? 🤔
He wanted to cut them, not mash
🎶make em smaller🎶
Cooking is one of the most important family skills to have fun and support others. A good way to also enjoy other cultures especially on television or the internet. Sometimes perfectionism is an issue
I cannot believe these people every time I see this show xD
This video alone raised my self esteem
Let’s be honest, using scissors is probably the smartest thing these guys could do. I would t trust them with knives
🎶 slice up the potatoes, make them ✨s m a l l e r✨🎶
Slice up the potatoes, with a bigger knife 🎶🤣🤣💀
0:40 bro watched the cooking with Jack show🤣🤣🤣
I think Gordon Ramsey would have a heart attack or die laughing if he was in this show.
I would sell a soul for seeing Gordon Ramsey or Joe as guest in this show.
i refuse to believe that people are this INCOMPETENT
I can't cook scrambled eggs, but seeing the guy cook it in a bag in boiling water gives me hope
0:56 its like an arts and craft projekt
This is why I make sure my brother knows how to cook. I want him to have variety and flavors in his food
My head hurts watching this. I can’t believe there are people like this
"this is a callus remover"
THIS IS A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF WHITE COOKING
The glass thing might not be her fault? Not sure what brand it is, but Pyrex was always advertised as oven safe, until they removed the borosilicate because of a conflict with Corning. Now they’re weaker, can easily break when dropped, and to never be put in the oven again.
🎶slice up the potatoooooes... Make em smallerrrr🎶
My jam
the person cutting the potatoes should be a singer 😵😵
Anyone notice that the guy slicing up the potatoes at the end is the same guy from 100 Humans on Netflix that sings the “tic tac toe” song?!?!
0:22 banana is not a thing in korean cuisine
Well, I wouldn't say that, isn't there a banana milk that's pretty popular?
@@christophertom5552 yeah but that doesn't go into dishes. Bananas are almost inexistent in the making process of a dish
He's confused between korean and south east asian food..what a 💀
Number 7's not that bad lol I find that (designated food) scissors are actually super handy for cutting food, during prep or after cooking!
Arts & craft project🤣🤣🤣
I have kitchen scissors specifically for use in cutting things in the kitchen. I use them for things like cutting up chicken breast fillets into smaller chunks etc. Perfectly valid and smart option IMO.
What matters is they’re having fun :)
"if you put it in hot water it's fine"
O.O IT'S USED?!?!!!!!!!!! NO! NOOO!NOOOOOOOOO!!!
"Hungry for more?"
No, not really
Their love for scissors is just.....
i gotta say that black guy has a really good singing voice
I’ve lived in Korea for 8 years and have never seen any food cooked on a coconut shell or banana leaf, left alone a peel 😂😂😂
Uh... I never knew cutting chicken with scissors was bad... I do it all the time.
Those scissors are better than any of the knives in my house
It’s like teachers having to watch kids play house
I’m Korean, and we NEVER use bananas in our cuisine! My parents said that bananas were imports and extremely rare to have. He probably got mixed up with some other Asian tropical country...
The guy was Korean though. Not representing his culture well though.
@@xwrtk So am I! Search up 'Korean banana recipe' and you only get banana milk--literally no other recipes. He's mixed up. Korea isn't a tropical country so it doesn't makes sense to have bananas in our traditional cooking. Fairly sure he's talking about southern Asian cuisine.
salmonella, E coli, botulism, pinworms and hookworms are straight up VIBING here tho.
This is like the bottom set year 7s cooking 😂
This makes me feel good about myself
0:01 Excuse me? I’m 12 years old and I can make a egg properly.
Glad to know that there is at least few people in this world who are not idiots
Why is cutting food with scissors so funny to me
Well good news: I’ve found a new show to binge
I feel bad for the cleanup crew
1:02
That's just hilarious
Interesting!
0:49 when little kids discover they can cut with scissors
God, the "Hungry for more?" in the outro feels like it's mocking me at this point.
The judge: he is cutting chicken with scissors
Me who sometimes uses scissors to cut up chicken when it is
too slimy: 👁👄👁
0:02 i diagnose him with himbo
Things like this reassure me that I am not, in fact, a terrible cook.
