I know it's been awhile, looking at the dates, but these people are real trash. How do you miss dead emaciated horses right outside your own living space? This is a horrific story. These are the type of people that make the phrase "Hell on Earth" happen. How they live, if they want to live in an untidy, muddy, unclean, disease ridden place is one thing for them, just don't bring any of us into that mess, 2 legged or 4 legged. They must be mentally unfit and disease ridden themselves. Hope Karma catches up with them, and the law confiscates everything that they possess, to pay for their sick choices they've made.

We need to do much more. These horses are beautiful animals, and they don't deserve to be treated this way. They deserve love, treats, rides, good food and water, and confidence restored. He was found and arrested and went to jail. Not sure how long for though - prior to going on the run he only got served a 26 week jail term. His scumbag son, who appears to be equally culpable, was not even jailed and was merely banned from owning horses for ten years. Despite the horrific animal cruelty and costs of £1.4 million to the RSPCA these cruel and remorseless sh*ts got off with one of them serving a tiny jail term and paying £400,000. Such love for World Horse Welfare and the RSPC from bringing what justice could be brought but shame on the British justice system for such a woefully inadequate response to such evil deeds.

32! Thirty freaking two! That is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32(!!!!!!) horses that are dead on the property already. Add to this the three horses that had to be put down on site. So the family is hopeless (to put it mildly) of spotting the wrongness of the situation these horses are in, but what about friends, neighbours or people passing by? Nobody knew about this (sooner) and acted accordingly? That being said. I deeply respect organisations like WHW for doing what they do. Bless you!

Just like generational family abuse, you have generational animal abuse. Combine poor education and role modeling, lack of empathy (perhaps a sociopathic personality), low self esteem and anger with a heaping tablespoon of rationalization. Add animals and stir. In some cases, like breaking horses, stupidity, ignorance and arrogance enter the mix.
Horses are extremely expensive and time consuming to care for . Unless you have the money and time to maintain and care for them properly do not take on that responsibility.

I almost hope that Gray's son genuinely knows where that person lives, perhaps that person will end up teaching the younger Gray a lesson. I would have hoped that the Aylesbury Crown Court would sentence Gray himself with more than a 10 years to life ban and a short stint in jail, what he did was incorrigible and his lack of empathy and flagrant disregard for law and common decency show that.
