Saved my bacon! I had a holy mess following the directions on the bottle (reminded my wife to never do a DYI again before looking at RUclips for advice. Saved me all sorts of time on my hands and knees with razor blades and a variety of other tools. Also can apply the material with an art paint brush
Use painters tape to tape the lines. Get the tape on really good and when you pull it up perfect lines. I did nearly 500 square feet and wasn’t really that tired. Pretty much just color the grout let dry a little and pull up tape.
That’s what I did also. That way you don’t have to wipe and you can give the sealer time to cure. Seems like when you wipe you’re also wiping off some of the stuff you put on.
Love the kitchen but never saw where you could paint floor. Lol. I think that's for canter top lol. Recken that would stay cause you walk on it. ? My family use to have a family business in that stuff thanks for sharing with us yep damp cloth I knew it I redone my canter top lol. !!!!!!Ruthie.
We did this about a month ago, after it cured it has held up very well! We've moped a few times and it has stayed pretty good. Overall it has worked pretty well. Thanks for the watching Ruthie!
Good job! It’s pronounced “Ma-pay” though lol. We own a commercial flooring company and I actually use this in my own home to touch up my own grout lol. I use a putty spatula to scrape the excess off after it drives. Love it the stuff, but be careful when you clean it! If you scrub too hard, it can come off easily depending on what type of grout you have between your tiles. I have epoxy grout, so it doesn’t stick well lol.
Wondering if it's still holding up being on the floor? I just bought a lighter color than the grout that's on my floors now and hoping this will work to update the look of my flooring. Thoughts?
A wet towel that set on it for a few seconds worked out the best. And I only had one or two small spots where I had to re apply the paint. So far, since the video it has held up very well.
Hello, great video on a project that I have been dreading for a while just because it is labor intensive. But, now I have the momentum to go ahead with it. Question: did you use a grout sealer on top of the paint? The product I am using states that it is a paint and sealer all in one, but I want a truly sealed grout this time so I am thinking of using a stand alone sealer on top of the coat of grout paint. Would you recommend the same?

We are still very happy with it and it is holding up well. Thank you for all that information!
@@OurShowOurStory is it still holding up well?

Our is about 6 months old (at this moment) and is holding up very well! Lots of use in the kitchen and a dog.
Looks like you did a good job on the floor. I hope it last a really long time.
So far so good!
@@OurShowOurStory how's it looking now?
It has held up VERY well!
@@OurShowOurStory I just started mine today.
Best of luck with yours
Hi, nice video. What color did you use on grout refresh. Didn't see it mentioned
Hickory, I am still very happy with it.
amzn.to/3loSe0G Here is our link to it on Amazon, if you want to order it, or just read more reviews. The color we used is "cocoa"
I just bought the same product for around $10 from Lowes.
Since the video, it has held up very well
Did you seal it with any kind of sealer
No, it has held up very well since we put it down over a year ago
Was it better to use sock or towel to wipe away excess paint? Also did it take any paint of on grout?
A wet towel that set on it for a few seconds worked out the best. And I only had one or two small spots where I had to re apply the paint. So far, since the video it has held up very well.
Congrats Beautiful Home.
Much appreciated!

Thus product is more or less just paint. I would test a spot. Or contact a professional.
For us it has held up very well...
This could have been a 6ish minute video. I had to stop
Just too much chit chat making it too lengthy , otherwise helpful
In my defense, it was about 3am when I was filming... Lol... Thanks for the honest comment
