  • Okay. I think I got myself confused with some of the terminology in begleri. Thankfully, I was given some helpful guidance. So, to make it clear: the zoot I showed was indeed a half whirl. Apparently I do not know how to do a proper zoot... yet. Also, there really shouldn’t be any stops in the spring. In spite of all that, I do hope there was something helpful here for you. I’m thankful the begleri community is a safe space to learn.
If you’d like to see how all these elements should be properly executed, take a look down in the comments at the link “purplebeg 26” left. Thank you!
Here we are with the third episode in the “Learn to Sling Begleri” series. This time we’re looking at rolls a little more, springs, and whirls (but mostly zoots).

Doin a great job, but wanted to make a suggestion which I learned dealing with nun chucks. Even if you slow the video on settings it can sometimes be blurry. Suggestion: If you take your left hand and grab the other end and show the move going slowly without any momentum in each step it would be help full. Thanx in advance.

That’s a good idea! I think I may just need to incorporate both.

Made some on a whim, made even bigger ones I put light sticks on! Instant connection for me but no idea what I was looking at. I figured out 3 ways to switch the ends on my big set. About 2 feet long. Thanks for these awesome tutorials, I can really step my game up now!

Love that you film at 60fps.
    It’s necessary for begleri

Also when you were doing springs they are not really stop and go, its just one motion but its fine if you like to do it that way

I prefer yo yo. Begleri seems boring and cumbersome to me. But I appreciate your passion.

Springs just made me quit beglari. Dont know how you can say that's easy.

I know, they can certainly be frustrating to get down. It’s all about timing. Take it one small move at a time and make micro adjustments on what you are needing to change in your approach. You’ll get it!

@@natemartsolf I cant grab the concept of the momentum. Jeeps flying off my finger. I can only do passes and slips.
