Excellent! I got my first begleri last year and didn't get into it as much as I thought I would but I did end up keeping it on me and playing very casually. In the past couple of months I have got back into it properly again and currently enjoying it more than yoyo. What you say about the cost is very true as wekk, there is a lot less rampant consumerism in the begleri scene which is refreshing!
I have a ball of yoyo string that I've been tying into knots over the past couple weeks. I stuck a couple beads on it and realized I accidentally made one of these. Then I pulled out a fresh zipline and strung up some of my dice counterweights on it. Its twisted and layered over itself, plenty thick and smooth just like parachord but not easily repairable. Plays nice. Now I'm stuck in two overpriced hobbies I can't afford.
I love seeing other skill toys being talked about. My first love are yo-yos but I recently got into Kendama and I’ve always wanted to try begleri, thanks for the inspiration. Great videos by the way.
Thumb chucks were my start I just came across the fake metal ones while shopping and picked them up. Then I made some out of paracord and a couple wood beads. I just bought a silicone around square set and the delrin mk ultras waiting for them to show up
begleri is like 3A but with two 5A counterweights but this video also reminds me of that monkeyfist I made 2 years ago I didn't give enough love to, I really should now
So funny, I dove into the deep end with photography at the beginning of the pandemic. I mean, I would research the ins and outs and consume the art for 8 hrs a day. Still absolutely in love with it. I bought a hacky sack yesterday feeling kinda called to investing my time into something again, but then today I found begleri. Just popped up on my feed and I’ve spent the last 2-3 hrs researching lol. Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Thanks so much for the info. Subscribed! Also: is begleri something you can do while walking? Do you have to constantly look at your hands or can you get to a point of not having to
Woohoo! You’ll love the new challenge. It might take some getting used to, but once that muscle memory kicks in you should be able to walk and sling at the same time. Happy slinging!
Trust me Nate, doing tricks with these things isn't as new as you might think. Guarantee it was long before the greeks who first tied to beads to a string and swung them around: oh wait: bolas exist. Probably ancient sumeria. We just had to invent the fidget spinner in modern times to realize we already did this once and did it better.
I just realized today I do short game begleri. Always thought I did the regular length because anything longer felt really long but I guess I was wrong.
@@yangovica damn man thanks, I appreciate that. Honestly I got sucked into yoyos and Ive barley touched a dama since. Might start reviewing yoyos, but havent had the time. If I ever get a gt 2, ill do another review video.

Can you juggle with 3 balls? Just started learning it myself.
I can! I’m thinking juggling will be featured in a future video.
Begleri you mean 2 sockets on a string I'm not going to pay 20 to 40 bucks for begleri beads
That’s one way to do it.
Just check out the a02 store it'll really change your mind and tempt you, it's quality stuff
