    Keep in mind!
100% of his testimony is "I was told this exists." Not that he's seen, not that he had access to, nothing actually verifiable, just hearsay.
He says that "experts he trusts" told him this, but that's... not evidence. It's very easy to imagine he was being lied to, either as hazing or to deflect him from something else.

He literally said in the hearing that he knows the locations of the crafts, it's just that he can't reveal that information outside of a secure environment known as a SCIF. But the DoD has been stonewalling and refusing to give access to a SCIF to Congress. That's way more than just hearsay.

It seems alot of people either forget that or run far with the claim. Grush's whistleblowing testimony was basically a way to get the ball rolling to make it easier for people with first-hand accounts to come forward, which is also good to keep in mind. Things have peaked for now with the hearing out of the way I imagine, but in the coming weeks or months, but probably years we will start to get more major updates and even some sort of proof

Honestly, as a physicist, what really puts the nail in the coffin for me is the stuff about the holographic theory and interdimensionality. It IS a popular scientific theory (Google "holographic principle") but it just seems so random in this context, like a sci-fi buzzword just thrown in for good measure. Also the fact that he isn't even a whistleblower (the government gave him direct permission to say these things) sets off alarm bells. Also the complete lack of evidence beyond his word. Seems sus

He’s just spitting science-y words to sound smart to people who don’t know what they mean.

Even if you dismiss all the alien stuff there are still some major concerns, like where taxpayer money going is if the Pentagon refuses to clarify what it's doing or what programs it runs. Also, these "Tic-Tac" crafts function in ways we are not known to be physically possible flying around in our airspace that might be developed by another nation used to spy on us or worse. A major point of this hearing was to also remove the stigma of UFO/UAP sightings so those who see them now or have seen them before aren't afraid to come forward and report their sightings

That limits the possible sources of aliens to half the radius of what we can see. Realistically, it'll be less than that because life that advanced wouldn't exist at the dawn of time, and they will be slower than the speed of light. So, it's a small portion of the universe that aliens could even possibly reach us from, and it's the portion of the universe that we can see the best. Any civilization on that sort of scale would leave countless obvious marks we could see in the skies. From stray radio waves to the huge changes to the EM output of stars which would almost certainly be heavily tapped for energy.

Like literally nothing comes from info "releases" like this. Even if they're telling the truth, what am I gonna do? Go ask to see it? Make my own spaceship? Release more real and consistently demonstrable information or shut up.

The more I've thought about it the more the idea that aliens would actively choose not to visit us, if they're even able to, makes more and more sense. Like, if you're a star faring alien species, chilling in the galaxy, why would you want to show up with your technological advancements at the doorstep of a completely unpredictable foreign species? What benefits could the aliens get from giving humanity access to the stars, or trading with us? They're much better off keeping to themselves and never opening that pandoras box.

I’m gonna come in with the comments section hot take on this not being aliens, and there’s probably holes in *my* argument, so here it is anyway, feel free to ask me about it in replies.
I think aliens exist in some sort, on the other side of the universe or on somewhere as close as Europa, one of the Galilean Moons of Jupiter (I’d argue Enceladus, a moon of Saturn, to be a more likely spot for life but that’s beside the point). However, I doubt they’ve been here on Earth and are constantly crashing, because think of the retrieval of their craft and technology this way: They crossed however far to crash in the last little bit of the journey. Imagine your car blew up as you parked because your tire hit the curb. Ridiculous, right? The idea that these aliens that have Laws of Physics-defying technology don’t understand how an atmosphere or any fluid works utterly baffles me. We use parachutes ALL THE TIME when landing in space travel (The Space Shuttle used a drogue chute on touchdown to bleed off speed), why can’t aliens pack emergencies chutes in case of an emergency like I dunno, loosing flight control? We’ve landed craft on VENUS with parachutes using material that could withstand the forces long enough to land, why can’t they do it here on a much easier to land on planet? Or how about entering the atmosphere? We’d definitely pick it up one way or another. Same with underwater, there’d be a detection by seismic equipment. You ever see the video of Columbia breaking up? They could see it in broad daylight. Or how about the fact they’d probably create sonic booms on the way down, we have stuff all over the globe that could pick it up on early warning nuclear detection systems. As much as I’d like to believe alien life exists, this current round of asking questions has way too many holes to fill.

I agree, I definitely think there is alien life out there somewhere, it's just that the simplest answer to Fermi is that it's not possible to travel tens (much less hundreds or thousands) of lightyears without experiencing some kind of catastrophic failure first.
