    Very important! I just learnt recently that in the deep phase of sleep waves of brain liquid rinse out all trash from our brain, wich prevents e.g. dementia.💖💖💖

    Hello Dear LuChin!!! I woke up last night and looked up your latest video on my kindle fire. After watching the video I practiced the Tang Zhuang technique, since I'm familiar with the Zhan Zhuang as you know :) . Literally a minute later I had fallen back asleep! I felt this warm energy while I was laying down as I was performing the technique and next I was out like a baby. Amazing! You're the best always LuChin!

    Thank you again, LuChin. I quite intuitively started to practice this a couple of years ago, in order to address insomnia. However, I didn’t think to adopt the leg and feet positions until I saw your video. I tried it last night and liked it. It’s great to be able to add to one’s existing practices with high quality new material, such as yours. Bless❤

    what is the purpose of putting the tip of the tongue on the roof or the mouth while breathing?

      This is the qigong breathing technique. It helps connect the two main energy channels in the body, the Governing Channel along the spine and the Conception Channel on the front. Wondering if you have noticed when the tip of the tongue touching the roof of the mouth, not only it relaxes you, but also the mouth secrets more saliva.

    I fell asleep nicely, but I woke up around 2:30am with the chi energy flowing in my whole body,
    and after a while I felt it especially in my neck and head.
    After a while I was trying to stop the flow, because I was afraid that I won’t be able to fall asleep (it was the middle of the night), so I opened my eyes and the flow subsided a bit..
    Unfortunately I was awaken by the energy and I couldn’t fall asleep again easily…
    I tried to do the meditation from your video again, it helped a bit, I felt asleep after 0,5hr..
    Is it some meridian (awakened around 2:30am) telling me that something is blocked in my body) or is it just the effect of this quigong meditation which I’ve done for the first time and
    I won’t awaken me anymore in the night if practiced regularly?

      Liver Meridian has the maximum Qi flow between 1 to 3am. If you tend to wake up within these hours, it’s indication of some liver imbalance. The TangZhuang practice should help you to fall asleep fast, shouldn’t wake you up. For some people when they practice Zhan Zhuang (the standing meditation), not Tang Zhuang, they may get excited and have more energy after the practice . For people like that we advise them to practice at least three hours before bedtime.

      How about try this practice in the morning or noon time when taking a nap? Also, whenever you feel the Qi is going up towards your head, place your palm over the crown of your head, and focus your mind on your feet. That will help send the energy down. However, this takes practice as well.
