I love when it craps out and says arms down about 100 times in a row. I’m gonna remember that sound until the day I die. Unless I get Alzheimer’s. Then I’ll probably forget it.

I find this ride & launch system to be as addicting as the late 60s & 1970 GM muscle cars equipped with Muncie 4-speeds (GTO, SS396, 442, Gran Sport). And I've been around a L O N G time-

As of September 2022 this ride has permanently closed, Anybody who got the chance to ride this One-Of-A-Kind RollerCoaster is EXTRAORDINARILY lucky.. Unfortunately Intamin does not make Hydraulic Launch Coasters anymore, they used Linear Synchronous Motors for a launch nowadays, and that doesn't have nearly the same trajectory as this Marvellous 17 Second Coaster..
I started watching this and I was thinking "this shows footage of it running. I was expecting it to have footage of it getting stuck on top or a rollback because that IS rare." Then I reread the title. Oh wait, it running is rare too.
Ive been to cedar point like 6 times and have never rode top thrill but this time i promise in 2015 im going to ride this coaster and love it even tho i love roller coasters i hate launch ones but i will ride this ride

Cedar Point missed a big opportunity by not playing the hydraulic motor in a huge glass dome for people to watch. That thing is huge and fascinating.
