The best thing about millennium force is rather im 10 years old or 22 that first drop is still one of the best feelings ive ever had in my life, it never changes it still feels the same
I wasn't old enough to ride it when it first opened and it scared me for years! I finally got the courage to ride it as a teen and I've been addicted to coasters ever since. I'll forever thank Millie for kick-starting my love of these rides!
I can't believe it's been 14 years since its debut in 2000. I was 10 years old in 2000 when I got to ride it for the first time. We waited 4+ hours to ride this beast, and back then they picked your seat for you because of the chaos. Of course I got put in the second to last train...I was so pissed because I'm the front or not at all type guy. Its just not the same when you have 30 people in front of you instead of nothing at all. We also traveled 5 hours to get there and we only got to ride 5 rides total in that whole day
You are a year older than me man. Because I was nine years old in 2000 when I first rode it, and after riding it again in 2014 it is still my favorite roller coaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I can not wait to ride it a couple of times again for the 2015 year!!!!! :D As a coaster crew member I love that I get to ride this roller coaster hours before the general public!!!!!! :D
That first drop always takes my breath away been riding it since 2002 and it still does the same thing its an out of body experince i cant get enough of it.
I remember people kinda being upset about it because of frontier trail ..I'm glad CP kept as many trees as possible. Awesome ride it still is... another CP benchmark
Wow! My dad and I went a few weeks ago from Nebraska. The skyline looks so different without Millennium and Dragster (looking at the construction part). The coaster running looks different without Dragster as well.
This ride debuted when SpongeBob was still in its first season! I can imagine him, TOM 2 from Toonami, and Warp Darkmatter from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command riding the new ride!
@ferretboy1187 Nice! They were letting us walk off the train and directly into the station to ride again and again. I agree, weekdays are the best, especially in May & June.
Just discovered your channel @CoasterBob62 Thanks for all the awesome footage from Ohio's parks! From a fellow Ohioan :) You wouldn't happen to be the same Coasterbob that had a website up years ago which talked about several parks across the country and had top ten lists, would you?
@knexbox360 It shouldn't be too bad. A lot of it will depend on the weather and time of day. If the weather is bad, lines will be short. The lines are also shorter late in the day. If it rains in the early evening then clears up, you'll be able to walk onto many rides, providing your bus hasn't left yet!
@CoasterBob62 i know. ive been there twice in august and waited 1 hr or more for millennium, dragster, and 2 hrs or more for maverick. are they worse than that the third saturday (2nd week open) in may, i want to know because im going for a school trip

Those heady pre 9/11 days when the future looked rosy
I waited 3 hours when it first opened in 2000. I've known the line to be 4 hours long. But one day last year I rode it 6 times in about an hour!

Millie will always hold a special place in my heart ♥ . Probably because she was one of the first of her kind.

I have to ride this ride. I rode Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion, and I have to see if it's just as good...
You rode it 5 times in a day? With 4+ hour waits? So 20 hours of waiting in a line at a park That's never open more than about 14 hours in a day
The skyline looks so different without ole Millie there
Cedar point looked so sad without Millennium Force, LMAO
Tyler Hinton no they had magmam xl200
I remember people kinda being upset about it because of frontier trail ..I'm glad CP kept as many trees as possible. Awesome ride it still is... another CP benchmark
And without dragster too.
No they had raptor magnum and at that time mantis blue streak Gemini corkscrew and mean streak were pretty good.
Best...Coaster...Ever....
Never forget ride #1. First time I rode a roller coaster and said; omg the SPEEEEED.
Amazing. Millenium force is my 2nd fave coaster, its neat to see it like this as I was too young to remember it being built.
I remember when millennium force was open. Childhood memories.
Millennium force is still open tho....

This ride is a beast! love it

Amazing
Any footage of the old DJ’s that used to play music while you waited in the 3 hour lines??
lol that damn panda express is still there

The best coaster ever!

Look how fast trains go into the unloading area, compared to now.
The Frontier trail tunnel hasn't always been there?

I heard the same soundtrack that still plays today

Was this filmed when it still had the record?
Hi Coaster Bob! Sure miss seeing ya!! When will you be there next?
Hi Lynn! I’m hoping to visit again early July, but not sure when I’ll be posting any new CP videos. Thanks for watching!
@CoasterBob62 how are saturdays in may?????
Sorry I misunderstood. I'm going to Cedar Point on Thursday so I guess I'll see it. Maybe this year they can do that.
Yeah I saw it, it does need repainted
It looks so fast in this video
It looks like a swamp back then lol
@knexbox360 Except for opening day, they're not too bad, at least compared with July & August. Weekdays and Sundays are best.
What's your favorite coaster?
3:03 Imperial alert/Death Star alarm
Maverick.
@CoasterBob62 my record is 8 times in an hour, the trick is to go on weekdays
wasn't it repainted like... 2 years ago or something?
I don't know. There is some hint of rust though
Anyone else hear the Friends theme song at the start?
why was this in my reccomended
my question is have any of you even road it omg who cares if it is cloudy or if the line is 3 hours it is always worth it
Nope. It appeared with Millennium Force.
what was the wait time???
In 2000, I waited 3 hours to ride.
Yea it was a consistent 3 hr wait that summer, it also didn't help that ride kept breaking down.
Like 6 years! 😂
I know i like blue but the paint is chiping off on the ties
It looked kinda slow
No it doesn't. Blue is perfect
this ride needs repainted bad
