You don't have to remove the engine. You have to remove the frame support the engine from up top so that the engine doesn't drop out when you remove the frame. The oil pan has to be replaced and in order to do that you have to remove the front diff and pass side axle to replace pan and there are bolts in the oil pan that you have to remove in order to get the pan out. If the worse case is you do have to remove the front differential, do you know if it's possible to remove it without having to remove the engine? Thank you very much!

It is the best way without a lift it can be done just a lot harder
