What group battery this 2.9 model takes , H6 H7 H8 H9 ?

Just done one today complete agg of a job needed to take inlet manifold bolts out and just pull to side to take alternator out and slide back in also. Getting the alternator shoulder bracket in behind compressor and aligned was tough but will go with a bit of force and manoeuvring. Just asking what time would you charge would easily say 4 or even five hours?

I have a 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty, 5.4L 2V, gasoline engine, if that speed sensor goes out and I get a P0720... will that cause my truck to die while idling? My 01 Ford Escape had the Alternator in the same placement. It was a headache to do the removal. Essentially the recommended method to remove that alternator is by lifting the front end, removing the tire, brake assembly, cv axel, tire well plastics, and then you will have access there. I was going to buy this exact volvo from a friend for $500, same issue. After seeing this, I changed my mind almost instantly lol...

Last one I changed was behind the damn glove box. WTF is up with the engineers? Stupid design.

I have a work truck just like this one, but a 2009 model, and the heatercore just went sideways in it, an obvious leak, the smell of antifreeze inside the cabin is off the charts, and what certifiable nightmare this is compared the the GMT400 trucks, thanks GM! o_0

thanks for posting this. I've done this on dodges but not later model Chevy trucks. It always helps to have someone point out what hardware needs to come off when removing a dash to get to the HVAC box.

If I had a AWD engine can I Swap it with a RWD engine?

I was replacing a hose and t fitting that was leaking the one from the heater core. I replaced them and the leak stopped but now I have a leak in the firewall. I think I broke the heater core from too much yanking. I need to pay someone to replace the heater core 2007 tahoe 5.7 in Lakewood CA

in another video, instead of using pry bars, he removed couple of bolt to loosen the front of the frame near radiator and was able to remove and put back the alternator. But jesus help me 3.5 - 4 h of work for alternator !!! wholly crap very disapointed in volvo

Not looking forward to this job on my truck been a while since I’ve done one but I do wanna say that you don’t have to remove the instrument panel, radio or glove boxes I wanna say ford Chevy or dodge are all roughly the same some may have more bolts up top but same basic locations. Just the two bolts on each side. The two on top of the dash and the one on the floor.

I just did this pain in the ass transmission today...do you know what kind of transmission fluid it takes I'm assuming atf+4?..tomorrow I'm putting it back in.thanks

This video saved my life. 2007 Yukon Denali. After removing the dash didn't know which steps to take. Wasn't able to get to the second bolt behind the 6.2l engine, intake too high. Managed to get the heater core out without removing the heater box, only pulled it out enough, broke whatever tabs were still holding it. God bless the poster of this video. 8h job

Do you recall what code was it? I'm getting a p0500 code and I'm thinking of replacing that sensor. I already tried the vss that sits on top of the rear differential.

Only replace the heater core if it is leaking. To get the bolts behind the air conditioning system, go through the wheel well.

I feel your pain im in middle of one. I'll be uploading a video about trans swap aswell on the same year 3.6 Grand in next few days. Those torque converter bolts are a total b$ch to get to.

Idk if you guys watched the video but if you have to start sawzalling access holes and using a prybar to lift the engine up you're probably doing something wrong. This is ONLY if you are not taking off the intake manifold. The intake manifold is not that hard to take out if you know what you are doing. There are two *super* difficult bolts on the bottom of the intake manifold, they'll be obscured by the PCV pipe, which is underneath the intake manifold so you can't move it out of the way. The thing is, these holes are slotted so you only need to loosen them. After you remove the other bolts, lift up on the intake manifold and pull it out. Hallelujah there is room at last. I'm doing a full re-seal and replacing the pcv system, alternator, water pump, turbos, and all the timing belt stuff.
