Hey I don't usually watch the adds that I get on videos But I saw your add on Tom Scott's channel, and I just couldn't skip it My friend I have only watched 1 video of yours (this one), and you have my subscription Keep making cool videos, and I hope your channel grows well and more people find out about youthrough the add. *Edit* I forgot to finish the tom Scott video because of the cool add😜
Great info. My Dad was a pilot for years and I remember him pouring over charts and the like...now I actually understand (a little) of what he was reading. The gopher approves.
@@DataTime27 Perhaps, but people usually only say this once they are traveling so this is not ETE either as that is from takeoff to landing. I think ETR (estimated time remaining) is the correct abbreviation.
@@DataTime27 ...one other thought, of someone says, "my ETA is in 20 minutes," or "my ETA is 20 minutes from now," these are both technically correct because that specifies a time. While "my ETA is 20 minutes" is not technically correct it is understood to mean from now. If someone says "my ETE is 20 minutes" then I need need to ask "when did or will you depart?"
Me at 9.30 pm..out of now where..I need to know how to fly a plane without gps

ETA = ETD + ETE
Right. But people say ETA 20 min. What they should say is ETA 5pm.
