Day 3 was another great day for racing, we unfortunately had a bit of a rain delay during our roll race eliminations but we got back to the action with just enough time to get through our finals for all the roll race classes. Lots of great racing, lots of false starts as well, but we only leave in the good stuff.

blows my mind that Kyle was the one who had to run over to grab a fire extinguisher smh.. Those employees are useless. Kyle was nice and edited out them just standing around saying they dont know where a extinguisher is, TTC left it in thankfully.
Yeah just seen that, all track employees need to know where fire extinguishers are, a fire in the engine bay can get out of hand fast, something like that shouldn’t happen. Ik Kyle is a frequent flyer at these events and from what I seen he is extremely reliable in these situations but I still don’t find that acceptable.
Track crew and event crew are separate, there were no track crew at the staging lanes. And if you notice the crew (you can clearly see them running in the video) in addition to Kyle located them quickly and put it out before it damaged anything more than what initially caught fire.
@@braveheart4lif31 im aware those are tx2k employees, doesn't fix the fact that they said they didn't know where any extinguishers were when they were 10 feet from them. Kyle running towards was the only reason they knew it's shown on trc video lol.. Every single employee for the event should know where one is at all times especially if they're at a new facility.. Shrugging your shoulders while a car is about to burst into flames hoping a track employee comes is ridiculous.

What an unexpected turn of events now both T1 and UGR lost the Elite 8 cause their cars broke. Congratz to the new champ.
Not really unexpected.. that's how high HP racing goes all the time.. most consistent people win more than the fastest in a lot of classes

I'm glad y'all got as much racing in as you did. We're about 40 minutes west of the track and it rained almost constantly all day where we were.

Wild with the R8 and Mustang... they both spun badly and the first thing asked by the Mustang racer was... "Hey, he alright? I saved my car but is the other dude alright?" Fucking racing legends. Really want the best for each other.
Anyone else notice the huge bump/drop in the left lane directly under the bridge? Maybe it just so happens the cars on the left have more suspension but it seems like it affected every car negitively on that side. Right side was much less bump if any at all

Terrance going out basically killed my vibe. I lost interest instantly. The only car that could possibly play is that Viper with a 225mph, but other than that Terrance had no competition, breaking, well that's just racing.

I think when people spin out randomly it’s because they’re looking at the other driver, your arm lean the way you’re looking so a tiny shift with speed can make sticky tires react like it’s dry.

Yeah great for rolly driving someone else's car the real winner is Mac in the shop Houston car which used to be command performance in CT which he built from the ground up and here he is 2 place in the elite 8 at TX 2k

1st year at a new place if I'm not mistaken...the last several years it was held in Baytown, but that track is now a commercial storage facility (so I've been told)

Craziest race I ever seen! I saw a more in depth video a few years ago about some of the cars here. 3000hp cars hauling ass and no cage, no chutes nothing but the guy wearing a helmet
Why didn't they fix the track out there around the 100' mark? There were about 8 cars that got loose and then the Mustang and R8 were simultaneous.

That's exactly what I was thinking based off of the footage. Had the Mustang had a clean start there is a good chance he would have been wiped out by the R8. One of those situations where something bad actually saving you from something worse.
I was very impressed by that S550 for being the only representative of the Coyote community. I think a RWD to be successful needs very good traction control capability which the stock ECU run in most modified Mustangs can't do. It's possible to go fast in a red. The Nth Moto Vipers did several 220mph+ runs.

It kinda gets boring that tx2k now is a match only between gtr's, vipers, R8's & huracans..
So much more cars have potential and would spice things up a bit more...
That conversation with one of the winners in the GTR is why street roll racing for money is something I would never do for big money. It's hard to get a 100 percent fair race because so many problems can happen. That's without people trying to finesse and be shady.
