Hellcats, living rent free in the minds of car enthusiasts since 2015. These guys have 2-4 hellcats into their project, most Hellcats are actually street cars with basic bolt-on's. Why not call out the roots blown Hemi guys at the track, they're on par with these programs not a bolt-on street car.
U gotta remember bro these 2 races, fl2k and tx2k, are literally for big money shops to race their shop cars. That's it lol. None of them are class cars and none of them race every weekend lol. Literally 2 times a year. That's why this shit ain't impressive

See I've heard about this. Why my next build that's not even planned for texas 2k or texas mile is gonna attend both. Superlite slc. Some thoughtful building. 7 speed sequential. 700 rwhp low boost k series based v8. 4340 crank. Ti rods. Nice pistons. 4P heads. 4340 cams. To beat the Texas mile record I only need like 2000hp. 2 honda hesds at 1000hp each and the same stuff crank side as most that holds up. Heads will be less stressed. Doing some stuff to get the crank stronger and less vibrations. But at 2200 I can easily do. Texas mile record and 1/4 atreet car records is easy as long as it hooks. Gearbox will help alot with that. Same with tire choices. Twincharged. All the low rpm torque. Flat AF torque curve. And torque mapped and traction mapped like they do for the gtrs. 6.2s is possible. But the gearbox suspension and some other factors gonna get me a bit above that on a perfect run. Like 3 to 4 10ths of a second. So might be able to hit 5s rear wheel drive sub 3k hp on street tires.

A shop from Colorado was fine big for it... And Geoff spoke about how he is circumventing the whole legality issue of what his shop can and cannot do... @ms0616 a shell. After bolt ons, the gtr needs a trans build. Stock you can't launch more than 3 times without it going into limp mode. Those vipers still use the stock block

GTRs are like diesels, you have to budget in $14,000 before anything else just so the transmission works. Also people sleep on RS3s. An Iroz sticker is the new Real St. sticker...
A street car has a legit registration and inspection sticker in the state it resides. That's the definition. Can you legally drive it on the street? California street car is not going to get away with anything compared to a place that doesn't have a physical inspection of the vehicle to register and drive. So it varies by state I suppose.

Billet blocks have dumbed down the patience and skills to look after parts.. much the same way closed loop Lamba control had dumbed down today's generation of "tuners" again, same as the shops that specify exotic fuels to cover lazy calibrations...

Yeah there are maybe 10 dodges in the country that are in the 7's barely.. On the other hand with GTR's there's probably 100's in the country doing 6's.. Even the Mustang Coyote is a better car to boost and drag by far, especially when you factor in money...
