The Keys 🔑🔑 Of The Kingdom. The Keys are the principles, The Laws, or The Precepts that affect what I want to see change base on the promises of God and how they were meant to function.
The Keys 🔑 of the Kingdom represents or give authority, access, ownership, control, power, freedom, and permission. God give us all the authority to use in Gods kingdom to function lN the kingdom of God ON earth. Meaning whatever I bind or lock up on Earth. Will also be bind and lock up in Heaven.
And whatever l loose or open on earth will be loose or open in Heaven.

Jesus is the main key! When he said he will give the key to Peter, Jesus is initially appointing Peter to head and lead the church on earth while Jesus the ultimate master of the church on earth and heaven. Jesus wanna trust Peter to lead the church! The keys are the core teaching of Jesus where Jesus asked us to believe, accept him as Lord and God the Father himself, to love God and love our neighbours. Without following Jesus and his teaching, we cannot open the door of heaven and enter it. Peter is assigned to protect the teaching of Jesus and this tradition is to continue until today by appointing the successors until Jesus's second coming!
This did not answer my question. The Bible says keys , plural but you changed it to one. Also, you changed it to door.

These people do not have a clue to answer this simple question. smh
Key #1: Acts 2 Peter preaches to who? The Jews primarily. He preaches the first sermon on how to be saved to the Jews. Key #2: Acts 10 Who was chosen to preach essentially the SAME sermon (removing OT prophecies mainly)? That's right, Peter, even though there were 11 other apostles who could have done the job. ! Who does Peter preach to this time? The Gentiles. This is a world where there are only Jews and Gentiles, right? Again, Peter preaches how to be saved to the Gentiles. Two keys down and NONE to go. For extra credit, were the Gentiles saved BEFORE they were baptized since they were given the miraculous gift of speaking in other languages? ANNNNT, wrong! Check and see if a donkey somewhere else in the Bible spoke in a language other than its own.
