Aphex Twin - Lichen (8-bit)

8-bit-ish version of "Lichen" (aka "#20") by Aphex Twin ( • #20 ), originally released on "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" (1994) ( • Aphex Twin - Selected ... ). I just the midi linked under this video: • Aphex Twin - Lichen (F... , imported it in FL Studio, changed a few notes and volume and let the 4 channels play through different 8bit-presets mostly using "Magical 8bit Plug" 1 & 2 by YMCK (ymck.net/app/magical-8bit-plu...) + some flanger, eq, delay, reverb and widening. The visualizer is done by pixelating filmings of water used in a video called "Naturfilm" ( • Naturfilm ) which I found long time ago on youtube. Then this pixelated version is made slowly smaller and bigger each chord, which adds some movement I guess.
