Seeing as Brett’s Happy Farmer sounded like literal farm animals I think we can count that one as a success
Farmer wasn't very happy
@@ambermao9547 animals escaped
@@hi-ew2oxthe animals are dying mice
this is what i sound like when mine is IN tune 😢
They have practiced for about 15 years?? Do not worry, never compare yourself to others!! It will only hold your music and your joy back from being there
5:55- literally just me sightreading anything
@@angrygoose23 lolllll same😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@angrygoose23 Same but worse and I play the piano
lollll sadly
If you can play in tune, then you can play it out of tune
This meme will never get old
I'm new here. What is this joke guys :)
@@iremylmaz2146 watch the video of them reacting to the fastest violinist playing flight of the bumblebee
@@iremylmaz2146 search 'twosetviolin fastest violin player' or something
@@iremylmaz2146See Twoset‘s fastest violinist video. One guy says „If you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly“.
You guys should play with your ears completely covered so you just play by muscle memory and don't hesitate and when you listen back on it you realize the horror you've created
They might sound fine though. If the violins were in tune
@@M_SC I meant like this out of tune lol
Well, we get a taste of it... Technically, Bretts Paganini was muscle memory without pitch😂
That wouldn't be a very interesting video because Brett and Eddy are too good
YESSSS
Sorry for the reupload. Video glitched out in the previous upload!
ok
Ok
AHA I KNEW IT! no worries tho, we appreciate the effort 🙏
It's ok😉
That explains it. Thanks for the reupload!
Eddy never fails to flex his perfect pitch
Right. Though that perfect pitch has no worth if he doesn`t also have autotune with it, in his hand.
@@CsZsoltbros mad
Student: my violin is out of tune
Heifetz: bro stop coping
Skill issue 😂
4:57 you don’t have to ask someone if they have perfect pitch; they will tell it to you
I had a music theory professor who didn't tell his students.
He gave it away in one of the very last lessons, because he mentiones something only somebody with perfect pitch would know, so we figured it out. But it wasn't his intention to tell us.
So yes, *most* people with perfect pitch will tell you without being asked. But not every single person ;)
@@1412mariLUWhat did he mention?
@@salomaocabral8816 I don't fully remember.
We were looking at progressions and one student played something at the piano. (This is where my memory isn't clear anymore.) I think the prof said, that it remembers him of a different piece but that this other piece is in a different key. At this point he was sitting across the room and couldn't possibly see what key the student was playing in. We got suspicious and he got a little shy and admitted he had perfect pitch.
We always just thought that he was a true master in hearing any note in any chord progression, because he had amazing relative hearing abilities and was super quick transposing things in his mind.
I mean, he still was super quick with written music as well and a great teacher in general. But I asked a couple of other students that had him in different classes and they also didn't know he had perfect pitch.
I'm glad to see them finally trying out contemporary classical music
Lol does this count though
Too soon 🤣🤣
They detuned so hard that the video froze on my first watch through and it disappeared when I restarted RUclips.
On esquibídi
"Sorry I can't play in tune, my violin has Covid" is definitely the next excuse I'm pulling out 😂
I laughed way to hard when Brett said that 😅
@@xandraxandra1437 they're both such humorous guys 😄🤩
What about the piano?
@@mukilnarayanan Pianos can't be played out of tune-
Have you ever played an old piano in a bar or something. They are rarely ever tuned properly. You can definitely play the piano out of tune@@ambermao9547
this should be in the next ling ling workout
If I remember correctly from the old videos, one challenge was playing with one string out of tone.
Round 1: Looks like Brett found another way to flex his horror movie music skills
Brett: plays out of tune
Perfect pitch Eddy: dies
Ahhhhhhhhh this snother level of telepathy, like hello wrongly tuning 4 strings the same
THE MEDITATION WAS MAJORLY IMPRESSIVE!!!!! NOT kidding!!!!!!!!!! Julie Gill, Glasgow, Scotland.
Haifetz was like: Playing the violin normally is too easy! How can I make it harder for my students?
No elephants were harmed in the making of this video! 🐘🎺🎻
It's so nice to see more videos when they're playing violin again!
Still waiting for the return of violin charades though!!!
YEAH!!! OMG SO MUCH NOSTALGIA!!! BRING BACK VIOLIN CHARADES ❤
this is unfair! Eddy has perfect pitchhhh
It does not really helped him with the Pganini.
You only need relative potch to play in tune
Pitch* XD
@@chickenosaurus_rex Did you know it is possible to edit your previous comment?
@@CsZsolt it’s not because I’m on mobile web version (I deleted the app)
Damn! The tuning each other's instruments is such a twist.
On one side, this was fantastically cursed.
On the other side, this is as 'in tune' as my violin playing gets. [ducks and hides in shame]
I had my first ever solo performance with orchestra a month ago playing lark ascending. It was very hot and midway through the first cadenza, my d string slipped flat by a quarter of a tone or so.
In a piece where the overtones are so important and the open d is used so much, it was less than ideal to say the least (and this was my first performance with orchestra and I was playing with no music). It was definitely an experience.
For fun may I recommend Twosets 'The Lark DESCENDING (Chromatically)' video?
@@kd3684 lmao, hadn't seen that. It's incredible. I think my orchestra might have had a fit but I will bear it mind if I ever play it again 😂😂
I'm amazed you're able to remember how they're supposed to sound after that sacrilege 😂
Only real Ling Ling wannabes know this was reuploaded.
Real Ling Lings are practicing. Did you get your 40 hours in?
"My perfect pitch, it HURTS!" - eddy chen, 2024
hey, they play! I just realised how much I miss them playing and laughing at each other's mistakes.
Is it just me or Brett looks so cute in that outfit?
If you liked it, check their Christmas video: 'A TwoSet Christmas Special Concert' - they both wear those there.
You can tuna fish, but you can't tuna a...wait, what are we doing?
If you can play it prodigy, you can play it sacrilegiously
you guys should do violin charades but with SUPER out of tune violins
I can play like TwoSetViolin!
I want to see Brett play all of Caprice No. 24 by muscle memory on this cursed violin!
only about a minute and a half in and already the best video idea
lve bretts concentration face ._.
Tuning the violin weirdly
*Twoset* : this is messed up
*Me* : achieved this the first time i tuned my violin...haha prodigy
We waited for Brett playing Tchaik again, but not like this 😭
It's fun hearing TwoSetViolin sound legit like newbs.
I never knew twoset played the viola 🤣 it’s so out of tune
Absolutely love this video! More violin playing/games videos please ☺️
Real ones know this was a repost
I DO!!
I have been practicing 40 hours a day so I haven't been able to be that active 😢
You're not practicing 40 hours if you know this is a repost 🤔
I was wondering why when i clicked on the notif it was not playing 💀
Yeah they posted it and then privated it earlier
The fact that i play Paganini the same way but on the normally tuned violin
This needs to be the next Ling Ling challenge!
I think I've commented this before, but you really should do a video on scordatura. Try playing Biber's rosary sonatos on an normally tuned violin or like this playing normal pieces on one of his "cursed" tunings.. like the one where the strings are crossed!
This is why I like twoset 🎻!!! While they are professional violinist busy practicing 40 hours a day, they still work hard to create new idea original content.
I knew I wasn’t tweaking when I saw the notification and no vid 😆
Eddys perfect pitch coming in clutch
When I heard them playing I thought someone was playing the viola for a second.
When this video came out and it was on private and I started panicking
Why was it on private?

The aggressive vibrato to fix the note-
More violin charades! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
This should be a part of the Ling Ling workout
Seconded
Finally I sound like them
"Gentlemen, untune your violins."
some of these notes sound like sad cow moos i cant
One of those rare occasions when perfect pitch really helps
Note to self don't change E-string directly before performance. When I was doing a recital at uni my E-string started going flat. I was moving up and up and up the fingerboard then it decided to go totally slack so had to play the rest of the movement with only 3 strings. Could have cried! 😂😂😂
These two still sound good even out of tune. Fun stuff
This is like listening to my mom rant about how my older brother is better than me.
Its nice to see them play a new composer this time :) Good video
Brett's cursed genius is back
I do think a great idea would be for them to play violin songs on different instruments that they don't know as well.
Way to hurt Eddy’s perfect pitch, by “tuning” when it’s untuned. Nice one, Brett. 😅
This is awful, but in a great way! Lol I laughed a lot, thank you!!
They look way cooler playing when it's detuned. They seem more natural, it's cool to see them try to improvise and figure out where to go
So all this time the problem was not my skills only my violin was untuned😂
Sometimes out of tune violin sounds alot like a Otomatone
I call cheats, Eddy used his perfect pitch powers
This is me switching from viola to violin. Every time!
with the disclaimer in the video telling us not to untune our violins, maybe the thumbnail needs to change 😅
Nooo! Too short 🥲 wanted to listen the whole pieceeee
Which piece?
Perfect pitch sure comes in handy
I like the muscle memory one
sometimes I'm playing the piano and I notice one of the keys is slightly out of tune, I just have to accept there is nothing I can do about it.
I don't even need to de-tune my instrument to play cursed and out of tune!
How is this still more in tune than me normally 😭
At 7:15 it sounded like brett played paganini on baroque tuning😂😂
Your neighbors thinking : " they must be drunk"
“There is no worse sound than someone who cannot play the violin but insists on doing so anyway.”
- Daniel Handler
I’d call this a definite success tho
One of my biggest fears in orchestra is having one of my pegs slip during a performance. It’s on the same bar as breaking a string. I’d rather just stop playing at that point.
well that's the experience of the average school orchestra student no?
Lesson learned: If your violin is out of tune, use LOTS of vibrato to cover up your quest for the right pitch.
That's me playing with the violin in tune
those miniglissandos make meditation sound better
6th level should have been Brett’s lofi ☠
I'm amazing at this. I'm too lazy to tune my violin regularly.
I'm hopelessly out of tune obviously, but not more so than when playing with strings perfectly in tune... :D
waiting on bagpipes
If you can stay on just one string, you can pull it off.
This def has to be added to the list for the ling ling workout
Meditation sounded good because there were not so many string crossings. Next piece was totally different story. Alot of string crossings a thus many out of tune notes.
if only we knew eddy had perfect pitch to help him any earlier 🙄
4:59 I thought my airpods are low you got me
Painful, yet hilarious 😂
Guys, the composer Alessandro Perini whose music you featured in your recent contemporary music video (the frog piece) got his entire YT channel removed for false accusations of scams etc, don't know if there were some people from the twoset audience who targeted him but could you please highlight this and help him get his channel back?
If you can repost slowly you can repost quickly! Let's gooo
*_iNtErEsTiNg_*
Every violin beginner who tried those pieces goes like: oh, sounds like me. Except on tuned violin. Eh
With an out of tune violin you play a hundred times better than I play with a tuned violin 🙃🙃🙃
I got a simply piano ad during the video😢
I’m playing cello for 5 months and when I try to play waltz no 2 the sound like less than half eddy’s out of tone violin sound 😅
This is how you sound when you don’t practice, go practice!
