I remember my mother telling me that KLM won an air race to Australia with a scheduled flight many years ago. I also remember my first flight from Australia to Amsterdam 40 years ago with many stops along the way. I also have a wonderful collection of KLM houses given to me by my parents and subsequently added to by me.

Having worked for KLM for 41 years I suppose I should say it is the best airline in the world!Although KLM was founded in 1919 it was not until May 1920 that the first passenger flight took place.

I have never traveled outside of the USA. I want to go to Amsterdam, Denmark, Scottland, Ireland, Asia. But that is just a dream.
