this is only the surface. there are a lot more rules and factors and considerations and details and stuff. an education in airline status is the first step towards attaining airline status.

So I only need to spend 600 billion dollars, very nice.
+IMB2U lol but im think more like 750 billion
+RealSmartCraft its not air miles its time spent IN the air
+IMB2U 25 round trips from LA to NY if you plan it is less than $200 that's $5000, the cost of 2 business class long haul flights. Casey does travel an awful lot so I probably easily does it.
+brian whittle lmao would you like to plan my trips for me so I can get a flight from LA to NY in less than $200 XD
coolhandluke
$220 then which is a price from JFK LAX non stop with American, return found with a quick search hardly a fortune
All you need is a small loan of a million dollars.
+Rito Larry or just $ 6500 per year.
"my father gave me a small loan of a million dollars." ~Donald Trump xD
KittyCatLover we all know this story but don't need that much for this for sure.
+Rito Larry omg i just saw your comment on that uberdanger rage video and i just went to this video and saw you again haha!
Natin I guess we like the same kinda videos.
First, I don't fly a lot. End of story.

the environment thanks you for that! And I do too. :D
Hahahaha
Same. Never have flown on a commercial jet. Flown on a Cessna though.
Never flown, at all.
Who else continued to watch it even though they don fly alot
Lol same here
I flew 6 times last week
Lol me

for the price of all those miles in coach the average person could just pay for business on their occasional flight
This is true, hence the first rule he stated.
But then you go to less places
But if you have to travel a lot anyway...
Yea but if you work for a company that makes you fly that much the company will pay for it

You're not exploiting anything, this is what the loyalty program was intended for-- they want you to be loyal to their airline.

+apwhitehouse Currently I`m looking into getting a Frequent Flier Program, so now I am doing my research. To me this was very helpful
If you do it for work, your business will often pay for your flight, still giving you miles.
+LegendaryGaming Basically just buy your own private jet xD
xD
+LegendaryGaming Yes, but it will save you more cash than you spend.
Coach is wayyyyy cheaper than 1st.
so basically you have to have money in the first place to be cheap
Eli It's expensive to be poor, indeed.
Marcus Shor did he? i only heard it doesnt apply to you if you don't fly often. not gonna watch again though..
Eli lol what do you expect a free business class for an economy class? wait until Chinese's cat new year
+Eli logic
If you don't fly a lot and want upgrades just by economy and then ask if there are any seats that aren't taken. You aren't guaranteed to get a seat but they'd rather charge you less for the seat than leave it empty.

Casey's early videos are imbued with a certain, innocent/childlike/playful magic that is beautiful.
First class on AA doesn't look all that classy.
***** I've flown business on British and it looks much better, seats aren't together. That's from SFO to Heathrow though, so I assume AA Transatlantic flights are similar. I was hooked up through a friend, no way I'd pay the $5k+ full price unless I was I millionaire. An aisle seat in coach with no one next to you is 70% as good in my opinion, especially since everyone has personal video screens now.
The best first class on american airlines is the boeing 777-300
Patient Ambition qantas, emirates and qatar airways are a lot better than British, fairly low standard in comparison
GYMjunkie I can vouch for Qatar Airways. Their business class tops most airlines' first.
***** the singapore airline first class suites aren't too bad :p
If you fly less frequently you could just spend the money and upgrade
+Alex Ironically you'd earn status pretty fast that way as well.
+Aman Basanti Not if status is miles added up.... your seats while flying wouldn't matter at all.
+Alex Not really, the markups on first class seats can be as much as 7X the coach price. You'd waste money.
+Alex I just put a vid up explaining how to do without spending more :)
Virgin Atlantic upper class price online is around $7k-12k dependin g on route. Over the counter upgrade is $1.9k.
So pretty much make 20 LAX-JFK return trips every year for executive platinum membership.
"and that's it"
just fly to NYC and LA back and forth 20 times with American Airlines, every year. Nice!
who told you that?
C'mon man, do the math
meth, right on O^
Do it with Alaska from DC to LA all the time, he's right af
How is this complicated? Or even a trick? This was basically just, "American Express will give you free upgrades if you fly a crap ton"
Well, one thing that a lot of people will miss is, "look up an airline with good loyalty, and stick to it". Because a lot of people will probably look for a better deal for each time they fly instead of a long term goal.
The egg it’s not “a crap ton” it’s just 100k a year, that’s 8350 a month, that’s basically 3 trips from anywhere to anywhere in the US in one month, which means in a year you do 15 round trips, and you’re set.
This is not that hard to do, my dad used to do this and he always traveled 1st. I used to do it and travel 1st, but now I travel less.
It’s just not possible if you don’t travel more than once a year like most Americans.

100,000 miles is a lot of flying!
But if you fly with family you get more
That's a good point. Is that true?
If you pay for 1st class and fly to New Zealand and back you get the actual miles plus a 50% bonus for flying 1st class. So on one round trip you can earn around 30,000 miles. So a couple long international trips trips with some domestic flights and you're there.
My dad has over 3 million
mattcolver1 I'm from New Zealand. Hehehe
This was the video that got me on to Casey’s channel. I remember searching “how to get free flight upgrades” right before a huge trip. I started binge watching his previous uploads, but then a couple weeks later he started the daily vlogs. I really came in perfect timing cuz of this video.
my dad was able to do this with Virgin Atlantic with him using them for business and personal (he worked in NYC and lived in the UK, leading to A LOT of miles). He ended up being within Virgin's top 50 flyers, getting upgrades, a PA from Virgin and was invited to wine tasting and stuff like that :)
So, for the low low price of ~$24,000 per year, you can get first class! (For the price of economy class)
yeah, but you then cut a lot of money on the following flights you make, it pays off if u fly a lot anyways.
Guess who payed him to explain this "trick"
Dude are you daft? He literally says this was not a paid video.
If you normaly fly a lot on a year, nearly getting uo to 100,000 miles this is just free stuff they gave you. He flies for work. he is not forcing himself to fly just for the free upgrades.
The point is, if you have to fly a lot, then you might as well exploit the loyalty schemes to get these perks.
Damn. The storytelling, editing, and filmography are a class apart. That's what makes Casey so unique!
@PiXimperfect What are you doing here?
100,000 points is equivalent to 20 round trips from NY to LA. Which is almost twice every month to get that done in 12 months. So basically, unless you take a round trip from NY to LA every 18 days or so, it would be significantly cheaper to just pay for an upgrade lol. But, if you are on a plane that often, the free upgrade would definitely be something to take advantage of.
That's the point. If you fly a lot for work, this is how you make that more bearable.
American First is not First. It's Premium Economy at best.
+Aman Basanti my point exactly!!if you are a frequent flyer of some 5-star Asian airlines, then you are in for a real treat.
Cathay Diamond Invitiation
+Aman Basanti I am a frequent flyer with qantas (platinum One level) and while it takes allot of flying to get its great. im my opinion its the best first class in the world

Some people just have the money.
This felt like one big AA ad basically.
I miss old Casey, Don't get me wrong, the vlogs are great, but I preferred his films way back when.
Most people cash out when they can. Like in this payed video for an airline.
+Bumble Bee
It says at the end he was not paid by the airline to make this video, he just did it because he wanted to. Usually youtubers have to be up front about when they're getting sponsored (paid) to make a video, so I don't see why he would lie about it. The fact that he gets around 2-3 million views per video says that RUclips themselves are probably writing his paychecks lol. I'd be surprised if he didn't have a youtube partnership at this point.
If you watched the video you would see that he literally said he was not paid to endorse american airlines. And considering it would be illegal if he was lying (which im 100% sure he isnt lying) then im pretty sure hes telling the truth.
+THE RAGE MACHINE Oh he DEFINITELY has been a RUclips partner for a loooong time. Partner status means you get paid to put ads on your videos right?
Oh found the hater
August 3, 2019. Doha to Boston. I approached the lady at the boarding desk. Asked her if flight was overbooked. She said lemme check. And then said yes it's overbooked. I asked politely if I can get a complimentary upgrade. She said, go to the gate and you will find out. I asked her if she can write something to the person at the gate about my request. She said again, go to the gate. I went to the gate and before I could finish the sentence about my conversation with the lady at the desk, the guy said, '' It's already done for you Sir''. I couldn't believe it. He took my economy class boarding pass and issued me a business class with seat number 6D. Still can't believe it but it's possible.
Always ask if flight is overbooked.
Wear for it.
Be polite.
Travel alone if possible. They won't give you business seats for the whole family.
Try every time. This was my 4th attempt.
Good luck.

It was a "creative" waste of time. I could have learned this from an American Airlines leaflet.

Morgan Roberts I'd have done that either way dipshit, because this video had no bearing on the matter at all.

When I first saw your video I thought, oh no, not another demand for an illegitimate upgrade without a single legitimate claim for one. But, having watched your clear, concise and honest explanation I came to the conclusion that there are some decent and respectable customers out there. Commitment is the operative word in your presentation and you capitalise on it. Good on you for having the sense to actually read the small print and for American Airlines willingness to reciprocate. I was a flight attendant for 30+ years and, now retired, never having to hear that ugliest of ugly customer demands, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade makes me appreciate the credibility of your video.
This was my first Casey Neistat film I ever saw.
At that point you'd probably save more money buying a private jet.
+MrLaeddis1 renting/sharing it
+MrLaeddis1 Not really... A Gulfstream Jet like that would cost about $10,000/hour approximately to fly. If you fly 100,000 miles at approximately 500 mph in the air, you'd spend about two million dollars in costs.
Considering the coach price of flying NYC to LAX is about $500 and each flight takes about 5 hours, you per year would then only spend about $20,000 or about 1/100th of what you would spend to charter a private plane.
If it was even remotely affordable to do that every businessman would fly that way, but it's not.
+Willem Cohen Finally someone who thinks instead of mindlessly types on the internet!! (Y)

camdevtube thank you, mr economics professor
not really every country has socioeconomic status but that should not make you feel worst or better or at least i hope not, we make our self feel like a piece of shit by comparing us to other. when you could just appreciate what you have and be happy some have less some have more however still commit to growing a little bit each day
not true. this applies to pretty much all countries in the world
robertk2007 that is the best thing I have read in weeks. Thank you.
Obviously American Airlines have just paid him to advertise their Airlines on youtube. This is a part of their marketing, and anyone that has studied business can tell easily.
So while… After being SUCH a big fan of Casey now for almost 2 years, to come back and find THE video which turned me onto him - wild.
in short: FREE upgrades cost a truckload of cash.
"they are giving you keys to the kingdom, why would they make it easy." i luv that
"it's complicated and there is no loophole". - fly a lot and get free upgrades for a year. rinse and repeat. super complicated. i don't know how no one gets this. you are such a genius.
You can always ride grayhound, always first class.
I like the front left seat best. The one with all the pretty gauges to look at!
I’ll just dream about the first class seat while I sit in my economy seat.
No way, are you telling me that if I get this elite of the golden of platinum diamond enchantment lvl 17 card and you get food??? no this isn't real life.
If you fly from NY to LA, you need 100,000, each round trip is 5,000. Math time, 100,000 / 5,000 = 20 (100/5=20) 20 • average of $550 per round trip = $11,000. To upgrade to first unrestricted, $1,500 more. REMEMBER you're flying 20 times to activate first class, spending $11,000.
This is really useful if you're flying at least 50 times a year. This is how airlines make money.
Just saying, when Casey has facial hair he looks like a really sketchy guy
Buzzy’s Mod thats messed up dude
Moaad Marset it’s not really messed up
In other words this is not applicable to most people who wouldn't already know it anyway.
so its not free, i have to buy 100,000 flight hours, damn
Plop Plopp not flight hours,miles
haha! 100,000 flight hours would be like 11 years in a plane! :)
Plop Plopp Well the title never said "How to get free business class" it said "how to get free business upgrades"
Did you expect anything like this to be free?
Caost I rest my case, dumb ass vid.
How to get free first class:
1)Be active duty military.
2)Hope there is space available.
active duty boards first, they aren't given first class.
Anthony St. Peter Exactly. If you want to get first/business, board last, not first. Best way is to make friends or date an airline employee who can give you family status
Some airlines put Active Duty on the upgrade priority list
I mean, I'm a zero status AA member who flew home on leave and got mysteriously upgraded to first once
I rather opt for better hotels than the 2hrs spent on a plane.
he stills pays the same. Don't you understand? They aren't forcing you to fly. He flies alot, nearly two times a month. So by flying a lot they give you this card by no other cost. That gives you free upgrades every flight. He isn't putting more money, he pays like an economy class but because he flays a lot they gave him free upgrades.
SirAlexzz š
way more than twice a month
LA to NYC is a 5-6 hour flight
If only international travel was 2 hours
So you have to fly to from LA to NY and back almost twice a month lol.. Yea, I'll pass, and i'll keep my economy seat for the 1-2 times I fly every year
He literally said "this won't help you if you don't fly alot"
As someone who works for a legacy carrier he is correct, you need to commit heavily to 1 airline. I've seen people travel from airport to airport to airport in 1 day. Now there are days where you won't always get these upgrades. Like the month of August, everyone is traveling so good luck unless you are like 12 million miler or something. You can bring chocolate or Starbuck gift cards to the flight attendants but they don't have the authority to upgrade you. In fact they could get fired for doing that, and no the union won't protect them from that.
If the purpose of this video is to teach the viewer about the benefits of reaching elite status (i.e. free upgrades and bonus mileage earnings), then let me point out a few misconceptions on your so-called "list."
1. You do NOT need to fly a lot. 2-3 transcontinental round trips (on AA, for example) flown strategically within a calendar year will give you the 25K you need to go from basic to Gold, and so on. So if a passenger amasses 13K in January and then another 13K in December, that's not flying a lot. And then with 26K total he/she reaches elite level, anyway.
2. You do NOT need to commit to one airline. Maybe one alliance, but NOT one airline. So if a passenger amasses 13K from AA and then another 13K from BA (putting into AA account) all within a calendar year, that's not committing to one airline but rather to one alliance. And then with 26K total he/she reaches elite level, anyway.
Good video, but it's not completely true. People, please read more about partnerships and alliances before accepting the author's list as fact.
Thank you.
@Winslow09 What you say is true, but you're confusing "a lot" with "a lot of miles," rather than meaning "frequently." When the author said one has to fly "a lot," I'm pretty sure he meant "frequently," and that's what I'm disputing.
As on my example, one obviously does NOT need to fly frequently in order to reach elite status.
Understand now?
redcomusic... that's right... it's how many flights one takes and/or how many miles flown in a qualifying time period .. but they have to be "qualifying" flights... airlines are getting tricky and earning more money once they realized that business guys were getting first class for the lowest fare class cost of coach ... I used to work for an airline. I would see guys who's business paid for their flights and they earned the miles. So after earning a bunch of miles... they would pay the lowest coach and get an upgrade to First for around 10k miles... but that's changing... It's a hard thing to do now...and esp with flight loads so heavy these days.
My dad works for Delta Airlines, I get upgraded about 1/5-6 times I fly. Coach or First I pay $200 a year for unlimited flights to anywhere in the world.
You're full of shit.. Airline employees don't get that sort of offer. If your dad, lets say worked as a pilot in Delta, his only benefit would be to fly for free with that airline, IF a seat is available, and if its for work purposes. Family members getting discounts and shit like that, is a rumor dicks like you keep alive.
I know, not like that, if there are extra seats and no upgrades in first class, they give them to the people on the stand-by/non-rev list, I sit in first class flying across the atlantic most times I fly. He gets benefits for him, me, my mom, my brother and his parents, we pay $200 per year to have unlimited flights. When we fly, we try to schedule it around wide open flights with empty seats.
+ -Porscheeky - I have never payed to fly my entire life, If you are close family, i.e spouse/children you don't pay. I have 9 years worth of flight history to proof it, looks like you're the one full of shit now buddy.
You can fly for work reasons or leisure travel. ALL FOR FREE!
+- Porscheeky - He's not lying. I have the same benefit with my family with United Airlines. Unlimited flights, but you get placed on standby. Typically for us the first class aisle is more empty than coach, and we almost always get the empty flights (besides the week of a holiday or something) and we pay nothing. We actually have an allocation to bypassing the standby and guaranteeing us a seat, but once we go pass that we either have to wait standby, or pay a fee (which is still less than paying for the actual ticket). It doesn't have to be for work purposes at all.
This video better be sponsored, you shouldn't do this for free!
I don't even flight but I still watch until the end. Love your videos, you're my inspiration filmmaker! EVER!
First video I ever saw of Caseys...

So there's no tricks it's just participating in a widely-known loyalty program... nice. Great advertise- I mean video.
its not an ad he said that at the end of the video
Human Productions ...it might not be a paid ad but it definitely is a video that promotes AA. ..and im sure he gets the best treatment when flying with them, with a happy ending if you know what I mean 😉
Actually, AA kicked him off of the Executive Platinum Membership, not that great of a treatment I guess.
+Fozzie why he was kicked?
Because he reached level 9000 on the douchebag chart.
So, you basically need to make your life miserable taking long planes constantly to be 'rewarded'?
Yeah. I guess programs like these are also meant to help super-commuters not be so miserable, because if they flew coach all the time they'd get fed up with it and quit their jobs or whatever commitment was forcing them to travel. and that would be bad for both the airline and economy in general.
Javier Sianes most of the time but my mom works at the airline so I get free plane rides anywhere I want
Carrot Cat, you get the leftover seats though. And if the plane is full, then you need to wait for the next plane that hopefully will have some seats left over.
Well an transatlantic flight is about 6'500-8'000 Km from UK to New York or any East coast city in the US. From Munich to Miami it's about 11'000 km, witch is about 7000 miles. The flight is about 10h and 30 min. So you will need to fly that rout about 14 times and 140h since the way back is faster. If you are very busy you will probably fly shorter flights or connecting flights after reaching Miami. Or you could do about 100 small route flights.
Also keep in mind, their not the biggest airliner company to fly around the world. They do have flights to bigger and busier Airports but flying to Croatia or Poland you will need a connecting flight.
There's really nothing like an old Casey video.
Be rich. Saved you a click
Diamond with Delta. Delta for life!
DELTA = Don't Expect Luggage To Arrive
Basically you need to fly 20 times from NY to LA in one year and the tickets go for approximately 1200 dollars so the executive pass will cost you about 24000 dollars per year
A round trip economy ticket between ny and la is no where near 1200 dollars. Plus once you get the pass, you are still making miles on those flights you get free upgrades on.
20 NYC - LA Flights a Year. More than 1 a month. No one has time for that.
Unless you are making money off the deal. You have to also figure out a way to make money by going to these places...
Piano Around the World Prostitution
Maybe it is part of their job
spend 40,000 in a year on flying and you'll get to ride first class for "FREE"
Yes, his company is paying for economy seats and he's flying first class. All at at no cost to him and minimal cost to his company. So, yes. It is completely FREE for him.
This definitely wouldn't go in 2020
I don't fly a lot so, thank you for the first minute of the video!!!!!
so your trick to getting 'free' upgrades is to pay for them through a promotional program?
No, you fly enough through American and then every upgrade is free. You don't pay any more to fly.
SuperMrgentleman Well, actually, yes, you do pay more if you want your miles to count one to one. There are at least two things he's not telling you. One is that the free upgrades aren't always available. Those seats come out of the same inventory that's available for "SAAVER" upgrades, the lowest "cost" upgrades with miles. If all of the f/c seats are taken up by f/c-paying customers, or customers on "AAnytime" upgrades, none are available for these free upgrades for ExecPl. The other is that for a mile flown to count as an elite qualifying mile, it can't be booked in the deep discount fare classes (G, Q, N, O, or S on AA). A mile on one of those tickets counts as only half an elite qualifying mile. otoh full-fare economy class miles count as 1.5 elite qualifying miles each.
Jamie Hanrahan Oh... AND, the "complimentary upgrades" themselves only apply to full-fare coach tickets (fare classes Y or B).
At the start of the video he stated that there are no tricks or loopholes.
***** It's true, you can qualify for elite status with either "elite qualifying points" or "elite qualifying miles". At discount economy class they are the same. At "deep discount economy class" you only get half of the qualifying points. But full fare economy class (and business, and first) accumulates points at 1.5x the miles. So if you want to qualify in less than 100K actual flight miles, you can do it by flying 66,667 miles in full fare economy. But that'll cost more than the 100K miles in the discount classes would. More than 1.5x more than deep discount? Probably.
ah back for my yearly dose of nostalgia - happy new year 2022 :)
This video introduced me to casey! And today I'm a daily viewer!

The whole business class thing amuses me, it really does, people losing their shit over a bit of precious legroom.
Airports and flying bring out the neurotic teenage girl in so many people...waaah I want slightly more wine and a pillow.
How very daaare you recline your seat .... why you ... you scoundrel.
Clearly you are a very tiny human being or you don't fly at all if you can't appreciate the extra leg room.
or maybe some people turn into woody allen every time they fly.
my my sinuses...can you get me a pillow...my glasses are steaming up...i think its cause of these seats....is there a toilet....what if I get deep vein thrombosis. Its too bright in here...the people are noisy....is that a kid....I cant fly with kids...why does that stewardess look so serious...excuse me are you planning on reclining your seat....cause I get bad blood pressure....sets off my sinuses...can we turn down the lights.
when its a 26 hour flight you would love the shit outa it
waaaaaahhhhh
Clearly....you don't fly very often or very far....and you are probably the size of an 11 year old female Chinese Olympic gymnast.
This is my favorite video of all time for the last 6 years.
So 20 flights from coast to coast on American Airlines would, according to the prices right now, cost me about 8'000 dollars.
Yeah, no thanks I can start saving up for a Cessna with that amount of money, or at least pay rent.
But if you're traveling for business, say, once a month (LA-NY) you'll do more than 100,000 in a year. All depends on your situation.
Get a proper job where the company pays for your trips, then you might stop bitching.
*****
lets do some math. you said if you fly 12 times from LA to NYC (5000 miles per trip) thats over 100,000? 5000 x 12 is 60,000. Thanks
You're very right. I was thinking it was 5000 each way, not roundtrip. Nice of you to correct me.
Love this video soo much. This was my first Casey video that I had ever seen. Also the first video I had came across for ways to sit upfront for cheap. He has it mostly right except there is a way which I use to fly upfront on all my international travel which is about once or twice a year. Its the goose that lays the semiannual golden egg strategy.
May you elaborate?
Caillou Savage Just gotta be good at collecting miles and maxing out promotions.
hey casey this was the first video i saw from your channel and i remembered you had around 500k subs. now you're like insanely famous! your style of filming is really unique. keep it up! big cheers from Singapore!
Please!! Nobody show this to wendover productions.
Anyone else got this in their recommendations section?
Yeah me
step one: get hella rich
step two: get free stuff cause you're rich
It's a great video and I give him props for making a few bucks. But, it makes me laugh at the people protecting this guy. This is a commercial. period. It's packaged in a "cool kids only" shiny box, but it's still a 5 minute commercial. He didn't do anything, besides get your attention long enough to explain American Airlines loyalty program. Props to him for doing it though.
He doesn't make any money off of any youtube videos he makes.
Ali Karim And how does he make money ? He made some commercials for Nike, Mercedes. Why not American AIrlines.
Anyway, I don't care, I love his work.
His job is to make commercials, he didn't just "make some", and same with me, I love all his videos; but like I said he doesn't make money off these. Even on twitter he posted a picture of his revenue from each video and they all said $0
Ok
It says at the end of the video that this was not an endorsement. Yeah you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet, but Casey isn't an actor. You can tell he's a pretty genuine dude. That said, I found the video to be well made but it wasn't very useful...anyone who didn't know of an airline reward program didn't need to watch this video in the first place.
And actually, Ali Karim wrong. He makes money on RUclips through ads of course (ads you see before the actual video)... In fact the only problem I have with this video is he just took advantage of something he does everyday anyway to make an honestly pretty pointless video for 99% of people. Guess its semi-interesting for some to see what he does as a pretty routine thing.
I fly so much I can recite the British Airways safety announcement off by heart...
This is amazingly put together.
Nope it's crap
My 1st Casey Neistat video. I saw it on the most popular page on RUclips when it came out.
Never knew that these loyalty programs give you these advantages.
And Casey h8s AA, flies with JetBlue now
This was my first Casey video too
American made a huge mistake merging with US Airways. Customer service went down the drain, and they lost a lot of what made AA good.
SIA Airport Agreed
They do this on purpose, and it's kind of humorous. The only people getting that many points, in that time span are either a) people that can afford to travel that much, or b) they're traveling for business and their job pays for all expenses. Why is it humorous? Because the people in the "a" category that have that many points, can already afford to just buy a ticket in first class. Then the people whose job pays for their tickets, usually they put you in first or business class anyway. The rich get richer and the poor...stay in coach forever.
I have to disagree with you on the part of those that fly for business. Most companies only allow executives to purchase biz/first. Anyone else has to buy coach and only gets upgraded when you fly enough to earn the status.
Casey I’ve been watching ur vids for 5 years and I’m 13 years old and I love every vlog u post and I wish to come to New York from England just keep up the amazing job u do!
So, i did some rough math and I've gathered this. If you need 100,000 miles to be a member of the top tier of their rewards program, and a roundtrip flight from JFK to LAX is 5,000 miles then... One needs to go on that trip 20 times within a year. Okay, then i searched, currently, how much that trip costs, and it's $1,058 on American Airlines. Meaning that, in order to enter this top tier, one would need to spend ~$21,160. Woah... No criticism or anything, i just thought this was interesting lol
***** on the other hand he can fly first class everytime. a first class ticket at $8000 would make those 20 flights cost him 160.000 bucks... so if he can do it, why not.
alpha12orc thats why i said "No criticism or anything, i just thought this was interesting lol"
Anyone watching this in 2019??
Dennis Agusdianto Guilty! 😝
Ya now!
2020
2020 gang
Bro i am watching in 2020
Cuz ya neeistat, the best social influencer, once the vids come out, sales shoot up through the roof like my grandma's hot cakes
What if the airline you choose is southwest, where everyone is equal?
Then you really screwed up. I don't even know if they have a loyalty program.... they do have good cookies though...
they don't have one, that was the joke
But those warm chocolate chip cookies...... it may make it worth it;)
Serpentinia Yeah, but my fiancé and I don't have a lot of money right now, since we just moved into a house, and I just finished school, so flying southwest makes sense. You just gotta make sure you check in early so you get a good boarding time, and have a better chance of getting a good seat. We are flying Delta for our honeymoon though.
Southwest AKA the greyhound bus of the sky
This was the first Casey neistat video I saw
Back when airlines had proper cushioning on seats
Loving the Cypress Hill...
He definitely gets baked
