This was always be the moment I became army. Changed my whole life. Jungkook became my bias and BTS forever became a part of my life. It literally makes me cry it’s so good.
Honestly, I am 2018 ARMY...by then I thought there is nothing I have not seen yet...and when ON kinetic was released...my jaw was on the floor...They are truly aging like some super fine wine. And just when you think they are in their prime, they move the bar a bit higher. They are not stagnant...not even on a break.
Glad you liked this one! A couple fun facts: 1) They also performed this Live in Grand Central Station, NY on the Jimmy Fallon late show in early 2020 (just before the pandemic). 2) Jungkook hit an F5 (per a vocal teacher/reactor here on YT), which is amazing especially for a guy. He also shows that he Can hit that in a Carpool Karaoke with James Corden which is worth a watch (even if you don't like the host as many of us don't). 3) They used part of UCLA marching band, and also a gospel choir for some of the ad libs/backing for this one. You can hear them in Jungkook's part as well as at the end there. 4) This was filmed near Los Angeles. 5) There is a behind the scenes/making of that is also worth watching, likely on BANGTANTV channel. Thanks again - glad you are enjoying the journey.
And the band in the video is the Blue Devils drum and bugle corps. UCLA is the band that recorded for the song itself.

The Adlibs was just Jungkook. Jimin was not involved.
Go and watch Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS and you'll see he is the only one doing those harmonies and adlibs so stop with the Jimin cap.

@@BabyDoll-qo7ol jungkook is literally my bias and I watched the main vocalist video hundreds of times.. it was mostly jungkook but not 100 % the adlibs when jungkook was singing the final line is jimin that's why I mentioned don't act aggressive you look like solo

Jungkook is always the one who is responsible with the adlibs, harmonization and he also mostly does the guides for them. That’s our multitalented JK. Can’t wait for his much anticipated solo album coming this July💜💜💜

@@LisaMT1218yes they do but as main vocalist it's jks responsibility to do ad libs, harmonies, backing vocals and guides. He layers his vocals on top of the rapline and the other vocalists in over 140 songs as of last year, It's more than that now though. Each member has their own role they play in making BTS who they are its just this is were JKs part comes in to play the most.

Jungkook is a really cool performer and a great singer. I hope you react to the live video of Jungkook singing the opening ceremony at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, if you get a chance. I recommend watching the music video and live video together.
Only BTS, Ateez, and Stray Kids can get me this hyped. A lot of the adlibs are JK, and the other 4 amazing vocalists do it sometimes too, but if you're talking about the last adlib in the end, then that's Jimin.

adlibs were jungkook,, he ATE in this song lol,, is also his favorite bts song to perform live at the moment :D this is definitely top 5 BTS choreos for me, they all had great dance moments that shone through individually and as a group in this

It is hard to remember that JHope and Jimin were the only two with a dance background in the beginning. Look at all 7 now! They are all brilliant dancers and to date of this MV it was there most challenging and their favorite. All their vocals are all on point and they just rock at being the best because they don’t know how to give less than a 1000%. Thank you for a great reaction! 💜🫰🏽🫶🏽

No one ever really reacts to the ON COMMENTARY FILM. BTS is not in it but it shows the recording of the marching band and gospel choir elements of the track in LA. They also interview some of the musicians, singers and producers who all have BIG respect for BTS and many are ARMY! It is a great watch but, as I say, BTS are not featured.💜

Sienna Lalau choreographed this when she was 19 @_@ She is the one the camera zoomed in on in the very beginning. She also did the choreo for "Dionysus" and part of their "Butter" performance for the Grammys... among others. :) Sienna and The Lab were BTS' backup dancers for all of their "Permission to Dance" concerts in the US and she also danced with Hobi for his Lollapalooza set last July.
Main Vocalist doing Main Vocalist stuff, the high note and Jungkook's adlibs at the end filled the song, I love this song.

Actually, that very high note at the end was Jimin! People think because Jk is in the front, that it’s him and it’s not! You just have to watch their live performances to see it’s Jimin.
jungkook in this song vocally is just crazy like when I first heard and him going as high as an f5 in full fucking voice according to a voice teacher I was just blown away. His bridge and adlibs killed it. The adlibs were mostly him too just crazy

Their dancing along with the backup dancers and the UCLA band make this performance so good. Enjoyed your reaction! The acoustics were amazing when they played it at Grand Central Station on the Jimmy Fallon Show. The Behind the Scenes video with them on the subway and getting to the station and practicing is so informative. Jungkook was worried about hitting those high notes, but he did it there and in the James Corden Carpool Karaoke video, which, BTW, is really funny. 💜💜💜

Kinetic: relating to or resulting from motion.
Manifesto: a published declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer
Come Prima: in the same manner as the first time - used as a direction in music (this is a double entendre, also meaning they haven’t changed as people or artists since their first song)

Jungkook killed those ad-libs, all ad-libs and guide versions are almost usually done by jungkook, though recently the other members have recently started doing more ad-libs in their newer songs and all of them are excellent. This was the era that my daughter tossed me into the ARMY fandom by introducing me to them. I always felt so bad their plans were terminated with the concerts but I am always thankful to the Tannies for all they have given us over the years!

The first time I saw and heard this MV…I jumped up …and full of energy I tried to dance the choreography with the boy’s…but unfortunately my knees and my talent could not quite follow my wish…🤣 please don’t laugh…there I was 53 years old… the power of this song is incredible…and because of it I became an Army at that time…
The band coreographer was 19 years-old Hawaiian girl at the center in beginning of the MV.
This was filmed in one take at Los Angeles Sepulveda Dam. Imagine how hot it was! The band is a combination of USC Marching Band and the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps.

I think you would really enjoy the "On Commentary Film" that shows the behind the scenes at the studio near UCLA where the UCLA band members and some additional singers came in and recorded for this song. It's the same studio that helped them out recording the "Dark & Wild" album while they were recording the TV show "American Hustle Life" in 2014.

With most BTS reactors I skip past their opening banter but I enjoy you guys so I would hang with you through a livestream, already got my notifications on. Next you have to react to their 2019 MMA performance....easily considered their best live performance and it's a staple among BTS reactors. It's about 30+ mins. but I know you guys are down for that.
