They did this entire performance live on the Jimmy Fallon show pre-covid. They actually filmed it in Grand Central Station lol something like 4am in the morning... unbelievable performance and yes yes yes half time Superbowl... WOW to that idea 💋💜

Jimin: finally I can flip my jacket and show my shoulder! I waited all day for this moment! Cedric bout to end this man’s whole career: he needs jacket wearing lessons... Btw I like that you notice shadows and stuff most people don’t do that 👍
18:13 blue hair that you said is exceptional dancer is Jimin, he can do hiphop and contemporary and modern, throw him any choreography and he can do it. He's one of the best dancers in kpop industry right now. Rookie kpop idols cover his solo stage performances to try and challenge themselves. Professional and non-professional dancere always notice Jimin too. Well, you noticed how great he is😂 BTS have live performance of this in Grand Central Station, Jimmy Fallon special. They performed this same choreography, with back up dancers and all, live in that. Black Swan is a good MV, shows a different side to them. Especially Jimin, the exceptional one with jacket issues (it's his signature move, lol). He's practically the Black Swan there. You can also watch the Black Swan behind the scene, how they filmed Jimin as he did his solo scenes that barely made it to the MV, it's only few minutes so you can react to that after the Black Swan MV in one sitting. thanks for another bts reaction ☺️
You absolutely HAVE to see Black Swan MV and then the behind the scenes!! Because you you are into cinematography and that you studied contemporary dance this is a must!!!
Agreed. Half time show. "They are so electric!!!" Now you get it! They Are The Best Ever. My background is theatre. I first saw them perform this song on Jimmy Fallon at Grand Central Station. I was overwhelmed by everything...artistry, choreography, composition, art direction, passion, wardrobe, message, strength....on and on!!!!! You must go back and read the history of all the bad things said about them...they aren't really singing, plagiarism, fake people... but you know the truth..they are World class. Yes it is a dam!!!! So...I have never missed a day since I saw them on February 24th..I watch their videos every day...dance practices, fan cams, award shows. It has brought me joy and too. Wait till you watch RunBTS, their episodic TV show. You will laugh and laugh and get to know them personally, their individual talent, their personalities, and more. Welcome to the world of BTS. ""Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep"" truck backing up - haaaaaaa!!!! I will help you produce the Super Bowl show.
Thank you. There is also a short documentary you'd be interested in that is of the people who worked with BTS on this song, including the Gospel Choir, Bands, and other professionals. There is also a video of the filming ... done in a viaduct not too far from LA...that shows the drones used. Sienna Lalau, the choreographer for this song has a youtube channel with a video of her own reaction to this video. Definitely check out the Grand Central Station version. Something I often think about.....imagine how many different choreos they have for each song depending on the venue size, etc. You seem like a very kind and humble young man, I am enjoying your channel and thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Can't wait for Black Swan....you mentioned Jimin's dancing ability....there is a newly released video of Jimin's taping of his solo part for Black Swan. As a classically trained dancer ... he is AMAZING to watch. I think you can tell in almost any BTS video that he's classically trained just by the position of his feet :)
I wish I could double like this video so much!! Love the inside you give, not only to the making of the video but on the dancing and singing as well. And you know what you are talking about, that makes it just that much better!! By the way the dam is used in a lot of movies, it's located in LA. The MV was shot in LA as well! Spring day is an amazing MV, cinematic, sybolism, lyrics! Love your reactions! 💜
Im not one to comment much on RUclips videos but I really felt the need to do it this time. I absolutely love your reactions. The way you pay attention to every detail and really try to understand the symbolism behind everything is very exciting! I have a hard time connecting with reactors because half the time I don’t feel like their reactions are genuine. I truly believe your channel will grow fast once people see how great of a personality and insights you have! Thank you for the great videos so far and I can’t wait to see more!

I am really enjoying your reactions! Your commentary, inclusion of clips to illustrate a point, and the general care you take in observing and analyzing the MVs is entertaining and educational. You also seem to be liking the music and visuals, so that makes it even better! :) Please don't hesitate to dance, sing, and share your enthusiasm! (Although some may disagree with me, of course) Some people will say "pause more so we can hear your words" and some will say, "please don't pause because it interrupts the flow of the video" and I think both are valid. It can be tough for some reactors to find the right balance. But I think you're definitely on the right track. The main thing is to enjoy the journey at your own pace! Thanks so much for your reactions and stay safe!
Jacket-wearing lessons! I lost it at that. Yes, Jimin does. Seems to forget both shoulders go inside the jacket. Started with Blood, Sweat,& Tears and he's still doing it.
YES please do check out the commentary film dialogue, please lol. It really opened up my eyes to just how much & how many people were actually involved in the making of this song/album.... u get to hear snippets of the song ‘Friends’ from the gospel choir as well 😁
The "arrogant" dance is showing they all survived their pain all these years. So bring on more pain. They can deal with anything their haters bring on!!!
"wearing jacket lessons" is actually a running joke in the fandom for the member Jimin (the guy u pointed out alot in this video) since he does the off the shoulder alot And his fellow band members roast him for it too😂
Cedric!!!!! Such an English name, so British. I love your video dissect. Much better than my RFTV class back in college (A brief one semester encounter). Blue haired guy is Jimin (contemp dancer). I've been watching reactions from fans, music producers, vocal coaches, dancers and now you, the actor/producer/dancer. I find your comments enlightening and so on point. To quote Jimin, 'Cedric, you're nice. Keep going.'
This is why I'm still flabbergasted they get no recognition for their Epic music videos. The music videos we're used to here are usually shallow, based on superficial things and sometimes just nonsense. They're bringing up levels.
They just released a Behind vid of this shoot not long ago that you may want to check out. And, yes, blue devils. Jimin has blue hair in this one. They are all exceptional dancers, but Jimin is indeed a pleasure to watch.
I can't wait for you to start the storyline. I wonder how much you will get the storyline the first time around, since you seems very smart and very good at details and symbolism. Not everyone can do that. It took me a long time to understand most of the storyline even though I was a long time army, and it's not like I understand it completely. Many things still confused and intrigued me. Lol.. 😂😂
Impressed at your insights and knowledge. The blue haired Guy Is Jimin.. lead Vocalist.. his voice is also angelic... though Jungkook is the main vocalist.. Jimin's vocals give it a different flavour to most songs..
Really feel like you are lowkey sweet and funny lol. I also really like your in-depth reaction to dissect each mv in different aspects like dance and cinematography which not many other reactors can do this, and i can feel you are sincerely enjoying their works. You are doing good, keep going :D
the more videos you see about them the more you adore them and fall in love with them.. thats the reason that they have huge fans.. the more you follow them you notice their hard works, their great personalities, the love they have for their fans and the love they have for what they do, and the message they give us, and great meaningful lyrics, great vocals and great raps and great music, and the things they teach us.. they were from a very small company and they started literally from nothing, and they worked really hard for it (they practiced 16hours a day for their dance) and people gave them a lot of hates cuz they were from a poor company and (all 7 members used to sleep in one bedroom) (u can watch videos about bts hardships on yt) they used to have concerts with 150-200 people, and going to streets inviting people to their free concerts.. they had a lot of problems but they didnt lose hope and worked hard and they made it.. and they talk about stuff like not giving up your dream and being happy..to tell them they are not alone at this) and the thing is that they dont just talk.. they showed us (they also have this song magic shop they wrote it to be a comfort for armys when they are sad but what armys love about BTS is that they are real and don't pretend, they are funny and cool and honest and they talk about their mistakes and try to be better, and theyre just themselves.. so I recommend you watch more videos of them (u can watch who is bts videos to know them better and learn their names) so anyways I'm waiting for more videos from u keep going.. I promise you will fall in love with them by seeing more videos about themselves not just the music videos
You need to watch their MMA 2019 award show live performance, which could high key be a superbowl performance, but even better! That for me was the one that really solidified them as legends and kings in my eyes. The majority of the songs they perform are off their 2019 album Map Of The Soul: Persona. And watch the version off their RUclips page, BANGTANTV. That performance will help give you an even greater scope of their versatility and creativity as artists.
I love this video so much!!! It highlights their incredible capability as dancers. And they sing WHILE dancing like that!!! The lyrics of this song also reflect their journey of hardships and how they've perservered. I'm enjoying watching your reactions and continuing to learn about the depth of their work. Thank you!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Jimin ABSOLUTELY needs jacket wearing lessons, its always that same shoulder too 💜 I'm sure hundreds of other ARMY have told you already but just to tie it to the jacket comment: Jimin is the one trained in contemporary dance.
The song is about them accepting all the trials they face and just keep pushing on, therefore, the 'bring the pain on'. When you said that they danced in a way that suggests provoking someone or showing intimidation, it just made sense.
After you react to "Black Swan", I hope you'll also watch Jimin's Black Swan Solo Behind the Scenes. There are many Jimin videos that showcase his talent, but this one is really special.
You really need to watch their performance of On in Jimmy Fallon or the Behind the Scenes of this MV. On Kinetic Manifesto Film was released first same date as the released of the album. The Official MV was released after a week if I'm not mistaken. It's just one of their hardest Choreography. Like they have lots way before they are really known WW. You should really watch their Dance practices. It's mind blowing like how did the do that. And it's really good to start looking for older MVs because you'll see the glow up. Thank you for your honest reaction
YES! superbowl ^_^ their production for every stage performance is sooooooo above and beyond. you should watch a live performance because it's like watching superbowl :D
Amen on the superbowl show! We've been voting on the halftime show for 2-3 years now, but the voting doesn't really mean anything, because it's a committee that picks the performers.
I don’t want them to do the super bowl halftime show. I saw so many racist rants when J Lo and Shakira did it, and J Lo is a US citizen. I just don’t want them to be subjected to that kind of abuse. I can already here all the people screaming “THIS IS ‘MURICA! GO BACK TO CHINA!”
@@nicoleshh I know what you mean, and I agree. The voting we do is not an official vote, it's mainly just a popularity vote. And the Super Bowl tickets are so expensive, that there wouldn't be many ARMY in attendance to support them anyway.
@@pambarab5506 yeah it would be a bunch of 40 year old white dudes 😂. Don’t get me wrong I’d be so happy if they could perform there but I’m not sure it would be worth the backlash they’d get. I think it would be hurtful to them.
I personally felt more impacted by ON: Kinetic Manifesto than the actual MV. There is something more raw.......and I can really feel the full force of the passion through the performance more than the movie version. I love both version, but I can't deny that the Kinetic Manifesto makes my heart race much faster and pump much harder. I really like your point on the Dam location, since I never thought about why they choose that location in that way before. But know BTS and their team, it's very likely that everything in MV has some hidden meaning even down to the chosen location. p.s. If you're gonna check out ON dance rehearsal, I recommend you to watch ON live performance on Jimmy Fallon shows too. Since I'm not sure how you will get around the copyright for that one, you don't need to film reaction if you do not want to risk it. I just want to recommend a great performance at a rare site for you.
The best reactors are the ones who do it with knowledge (& honesty). You have both, am enjoying your videos immensely (though you may want to consider black background + white lettering for your hilarious & insightful comments at the bottom- coz sometimes it's hard to read them). Also - I love that you watch introduction vids and other stuff off camera in an effort to get to know them better. Looking forward to Black Swan, I think you will definitely be able to pick out Mr Jacket issues by then haha. Good luck!
This video came out first before the official music video. It came out the day their album map of the soul 7 was released February 21st 2020. It is the last album in their map of the soul series. The series is based on the book map of the soul by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. The 2 albums were ""map of the soul : Persona and ""map of the soul 7"", which has both Shadow and Ego in it. They performed ON Kinetic Manifesto Film come prima live um The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in the Grand Central Terminal New York City video is available online go Tonight Show website and probably RUclips.
really really cool you pointed out the shadows! i've never seen a reactor mention that and i've never noticed it but it makes SO MUCH SENSE with the whole theme of the album that this song is on Map of The Soul 7!!! Ah your reactions are such a gift! When i first found BTS in may I became obsessed with bts reactions and I kind of burned out on them but yours is unique because you have such intelligent and insightful commentary as well as a calming and peaceful vibe. I don't feel like you're overreacting at me or hamming it up but you are engaging well with what you're watching too and pointing out a lot of details that definitely not everyone has the skill/expertise to notice right away. thank you for taking the time to make these!
So cool you noticed the blue haired guy! His name is Jimin and is a main dancer of the group along with Jhope. He is indeed an exceptional dancer and comes from a very versatile dance background
That BTS chooses to release Black Swan with an art film and ON with this manifesto film (this came first) demonstrates something about their artistry that just keeps pulling me back in. It says, "Pay attn: This ain't just a pop song."
The location was in a Los Angeles dam and the band was UCLA. There is a video behind the scene and it is very good. UCLA band and the gospel choir gave their input on the making of this music video. It was really good.
Jimin is the awesome dancer with blue hair (not anymore) and him showing his shoulders has become a gimmick (part accidental and part let's drive Army crazy).
I really really enjoy your reactions and insight on basically everything (filming, choreo, psychology, philosophy acting etc). You seem like a jack of all trades and its awesome to hear your opinions on their videos. I always learn something new when watching reactions so thanks!

Well, you noticed how great he is😂
BTS have live performance of this in Grand Central Station, Jimmy Fallon special.
I love your personalities, Humble, Smart, Genuine and Appreciative. Looking forward to more BTS contents from you.
This guy is very humble, educated, knowledgeable, artistic and open minded. The perfect mentality.
Making of "On" Kinetic Manifesto Film . . .

man i am impressed by your wide educated brain. it seems like you're qualified in everything
Half time show super ball yea They’ll perform fantastic performance ever👍😀💜
“BTS needs to do a Super Bowl Halftime Show”
ARMYs: “ May the odds be in our favor.” 🙏🏼
and.. this is actually among the 'next' on Suga's recent "want or to-do list" 😎😎😎
and of course, we all know: what Suga wants, Suga gets, right?!!! hahaha
this will definitely be a reality one day (soon) 😃
..belated Happy Birthday Yoongi-aaahhh ✨✨✨
[Min Yoongi ¤ Suga ¤ Agust D]
💜💜💜
thanks Cedric, saw your first video reaction to BTS, subscribed right after..
and now am going along with your 'BTS journey' 👌💜🥂 🌟
all the best!!!
"Jacket wearing lessons" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The blue hai member is Jimin, and yes he's one of the main dancers alongside j-hope!
Recommend watching ON Commentary Film Dialogue. Making of the track with UCLA marching band, gospel choir and others. 💜
i was scrolling down to look for this comment lol
YES please do check out the commentary film dialogue, please lol. It really opened up my eyes to just how much & how many people were actually involved in the making of this song/album.... u get to hear snippets of the song ‘Friends’ from the gospel choir as well 😁
The "arrogant" dance is showing they all survived their pain all these years. So bring on more pain. They can deal with anything their haters bring on!!!
"wearing jacket lessons" is actually a running joke in the fandom for the member Jimin (the guy u pointed out alot in this video) since he does the off the shoulder alot
And his fellow band members roast him for it too😂
They roast him for running his fingers through his hair too, lol.
They do like in bst😂poor jimin the rest always bully him lol💜💜
You need to watch BTS perform "ON" live at Grand Central Terminal on Jimmy Fallon show... it was amazing
I really love the way you react every BTS' mv you're really drawn to them.
More than anything I’m so happy that BTS is bringing you joy 🥺💜☺️
This is why I'm still flabbergasted they get no recognition for their Epic music videos. The music videos we're used to here are usually shallow, based on superficial things and sometimes just nonsense. They're bringing up levels.
Imma get Amazon Prime just to watch your film. Keep going and much love💜
Edit: BTS needs to do a Superbowl Half-Time show! Yaaassssss🙌💜
They just released a Behind vid of this shoot not long ago that you may want to check out. And, yes, blue devils. Jimin has blue hair in this one. They are all exceptional dancers, but Jimin is indeed a pleasure to watch.
Their live are on the next level, if one day you can check their performance on 2019 MMA, you will be delighted!
Lol.. 😂😂
Yesss, im waiting for him to fall into the black hole that is the hyyh storyline 😭
Same sis! 😂
YES‼️ I can't wait to hear his take and theories. 💜
Totally agree
Impressed at your insights and knowledge.
The blue haired Guy Is Jimin.. lead Vocalist.. his voice is also angelic... though Jungkook is the main vocalist.. Jimin's vocals give it a different flavour to most songs..
Really feel like you are lowkey sweet and funny lol. I also really like your in-depth reaction to dissect each mv in different aspects like dance and cinematography which not many other reactors can do this, and i can feel you are sincerely enjoying their works. You are doing good, keep going :D
Dance, groove, make faces-enjoy things however you want!
Oh yess Black Swan is perfect
the more videos you see about them the more you adore them and fall in love with them.. thats the reason that they have huge fans..
the more you follow them you notice their hard works, their great personalities, the love they have for their fans and the love they have for what they do, and the message they give us, and great meaningful lyrics, great vocals and great raps and great music, and the things they teach us.. they were from a very small company and they started literally from nothing, and they worked really hard for it (they practiced 16hours a day for their dance) and people gave them a lot of hates cuz they were from a poor company and (all 7 members used to sleep in one bedroom) (u can watch videos about bts hardships on yt) they used to have concerts with 150-200 people, and going to streets inviting people to their free concerts.. they had a lot of problems
but they didnt lose hope and worked hard and they made it.. and they talk about stuff like not giving up your dream and being happy..to tell them they are not alone at this)
and the thing is that they dont just talk.. they showed us (they also have this song magic shop they wrote it to be a comfort for armys when they are sad
but what armys love about BTS is that they are real and don't pretend, they are funny and cool and honest and they talk about their mistakes and try to be better, and theyre just themselves..
so I recommend you watch more videos of them (u can watch who is bts videos to know them better and learn their names)
so anyways I'm waiting for more videos from u
keep going..
YES BTS half time show!
Omg he should react to DAECHWITA !!
Next black swan ??? Fantastic!!!! Can't wait , love your Reaktion 💜 thank you so much
BLACK SWAN 💜
i like how you give insight on the filming/production, camera acting, dancing and singing, covering all the key points - ties it together nicely :)
Love how you bring in your background knowledge in such a large amount of fields, even brought in some philosophy today.
YES! superbowl ^_^ their production for every stage performance is sooooooo above and beyond. you should watch a live performance because it's like watching superbowl :D
You're so good at analyzing these videos. I love it! And also I agree! BTS should do a Superbowl halftime show. That would be amazing!
2019 MMA is the most dynamic performance it’s a award show in South Korea 37 minutes pure awesomeness
They should NOT do the halftime show. It's a horrible idea and I'm sure they would be attacked for it. I don't want that for them.
Love it! Thanks so much. Looking forward to more.

Daechwita and Black Swan please! Love your reactions 💜
I was thinking the same thing about the Superbowl half time show!! I am so glad I am not the only one.
You are starting to become one of my favourite reactors. I love how you analyse the videos, dance and vocals💜
Love this reaction! Thanks for sharing your expertise and experience.
Good luck!
Jimin and his happy little jacket “accidents” are iconic. 😂
YEEEEESSSSS!!! Super Bowl half-time show.
You are now my favorite reactor.
Damn bro, your kind of good vibes are super rare on youtube. 👍💜
He is indeed an exceptional dancer and comes from a very versatile dance background
blue haired this time is Jimin x3
You would love their live performances. They're extraordinary performers.😌
You would love Black Swan, not only would you appreciate Jimin’s modern dance, but I think you would love the visuals, with your background. 💜💜💜
I really really enjoy your reactions and insight on basically everything (filming, choreo, psychology, philosophy acting etc). You seem like a jack of all trades and its awesome to hear your opinions on their videos. I always learn something new when watching reactions so thanks!
"Blue Hair" - Jimin 😉
Thank you so much for sharing your reaction. I learn something each time I listen. When you said their dancing was angry and violent I thought you need to watch black swan. And guess what! I cannot wait to see your interpretation. Keep going💜🇬🇧😁
I really appreciate your reaction to this. You view them from an artistic view point and it's different from other reactions . It's awesome , looking forward to your reaction to Black Swan
You are a good guy!!
You should watch their performance of ON in an empty Grand Central Station on Jimmy Fallon. Its all one take and its amazing because they are doing the same choreo WHILE singing live.
Hey Cedric, the shot of the girl in the beginning out the video, she is the choreographer for this video. Please watch" the making of this video" video ... awesome!!! Hey, where in KY is your movie gonna be? Melissa from KY 💜💜💜💜💜
Oh how cool! And most of the filming will be in Lexington, but I believe there will be some in the Louisville are as well!
@@CedricGegel1 is this the movie that's supposed to be like a remake of "Rear Window"?
It's funny, I just watched your video about the movie and enjoyed the info you gave us. So you're a buckeye, 😆 🤣. You literally drove past my house to get to Lexington, I live in Williamstown, along with the Arkansas Encounter, Noah's Ark.
@@melissaconley9769 how cool! I enjoy Kentucky. I’m a Bengals fan, too, if that counts for anything 😉
@@CedricGegel1 yes, it does. Win or lose, they're my team, lol. They play the Steelers this weekend, gonna be a hard one.
Yes! I love when people give their perspective on things. I just like learning how others view things differently.
You've officially fallen down the BTS rabbit hole. I was you 2 years ago and have never in my 53 years of life been affected by anyone like I have by these boys. It's beyond what I could possibly put into words, welcome to the journey. Looking forward to your horror movie!!!
Cedric: this man needs jacket-wearing lessons
Jimin: 😂😂😂
there are many bts reactors but very few of them have much to contribute in form of a professional opinion and even beyond that, I just like watching smart people, the way their mind works, the comparisons and attention to the details. That's me saying I love watching your videos, thank you for spending your time on them!
