Ray and Zach take a peek at the lists of the slowest and fastest-selling cars in the United States. In the former, Stellantis reigns supreme, although their dominance is being put into question (that's a good thing!) In the latter, Toyota and Honda clean house, while a surprising pick takes first place for the second month in a row!

I have an Acura RDX 21’ bought CPO last May, at 13k miles. contastanly brought it to the dealership service. basically electronics would short.
head/rear lights wont turn off w the car. which would kill the battery.
    Body control module repalced 2x
    Sunroof brackets were replaced
    sunroof drains were cleaned out.
had the car back in December after being out for 3 months bc of the BCM backed ordered.
in based in NY, I emailed lemon law apparently they dont accept this electonic/sunroof/body control module issues.
I tried talking to the dealership but they just say its “cosmetics” and your cover under warranty anyways….

At least they’re good looking vehicles and they do drive quite well. Good luck!

Fastest selling in terms of market day supply is skewed. If i made 2 cars and sold it instantly, I would have a 0 day market day supply. Market day supply is only for consumer vehicles. High end vehicles with high demand and low production numbers ruin the ratio and get a super fast or super slow market day supply

There is a really good point there made at about the 1:40 mark - what did circa 1,280 people find irresistible about the Dodge Hornet that no one else seems to care about? It could be the engines, Hornets are lively. It could be the styling, I think they look great (for a crossover). It could be value, they seem good value on paper. I've actually been kind of baffled by the lack of interest in the Hornet - it looks good, goes well, and has stuff you'd expect. I've read that it's a bit type-A personality and never really calms down, but you probably wouldn't notice that on a test drive. I wouldn't buy one, I know better for various reasons, but I don't understand why a crossover-obsessed America seems to be ignoring it.

As much as I've been a CDJR enthusiast over the years (3 Challengers, 2 Rams, a Magnum and several Wranglers) I think people don't trust the build quality. The LX platform cars had awful front suspension components and people seem to find the most random issues on Wranglers, but more than those, everybody remembers the smaller, cheaper cars from them, like the Caliber and the Nitro, the Dart and the Chrysler 200, with mild disdain at best.

I believe your data is off since there are thousands of new car dealerships in the country. Just for argument sake, there 14,000 Ram trucks for sale & there are 1000 Ram dealerships, that is only on average 14 trucks at each dealership which is not true since smaller dealerships may have one or two while larger dealerships may have more. I have seen at many dealerships in which they might have 1 or 2 models on their lot, they are for demo rides & not for sale. You have to order the vehicle you want & there is no negotiations on the price. These dealerships are going back to the 1950 & 1960 selling model to keep their overhead & inventory low. This also allows the dealership to charge full price. Also, they are constantly trading vehicles with other dealerships. In fact, the local Hendrick Chevy dealership states online that a certain car or truck is on their lot but in fact it is on a lot in another part of the state & in some cases on a lot in another state. Another thing I have seen is when a dealership will list a car or truck that is in transit but when a month or two later when you check on that same car or truck, the dealership will say that it is still in transit. I have also seen multiple dealerships list the same car or truck as being in transit.

In 2008, the CEO of Indian carmaker Tata, Ratan Tata, flew from India to Detroit so he could meet the Ford CEO and discuss buying Jaguar Land Rover Range Rover from Ford. Ford sold JLR to Tata though the Ford CEO treated Ratan quite poorly and told him he knew nothing about cars. Well, fast forward to 2024 and JLR is worth several multiples of what Tata paid for it back in 2008. Guess Tata's having the last laugh after all....

Jaguar I-Pace . . . . what the numbers mean is you will still be able to buy a new 2023 model in 2026.
Dodge Hornet - they need to integrate a car crusher as the last unit process at the end of the production line and save us all from the torment of the ownershit experience . . . . "spelling mistake" intended.
I simply cannot understand why Land Rovers would sell so well - the buyers must have mad cow disease . . . . either that or they are all also buying a Toyota for when the LR breaks down.

Range rover is number one. They produce a lot less of them as compared to the other top 10 cars. Don't let that number convince you it is a well-built car. What if they only built 10 cars a month and sold 15 in 45 days. That's a 100% sold. This is not a good way to rate cars sells folks.

I believe a big reason for these vehicles being on the lots so long is extremely poor quality but also extremely high priced. GM’s going to make the traverse bigger but their quality and lack luster engine and troublesome transmission will keep the in the worst selling. People let them sit another 500 days. Toyota is also having a lot of issues with their new engines and other things now that their call Toyota of Mexico !
