I'm not impressed really. Xreal Ultra 2 is on the horizon , so is Visor, both look to have more functionality then this update. I wish they would have worked on updating the neckband. And waited to release this update
Yeah I agree it's time to update the neck band and as someone who has tried the new Xreal Ultras multiple times I can tell you for a fact other than the 6dof tracking these glasses are pretty much on par with them! Screen clarity is about the same in both so unless you are a developer who wants to make true augmented reality apps at this point the Ultras would most likely be a waste of money for most folks. There's just not enough 6dof AR content for glasses out there to justify the extra expense for many.

Do you have a 3D capable Blu-ray player? I would love to know if that dock supported 3D Blu-ray playback.
Unfortunately I don't.... But there is a good chance it can since it is mostly just a fancy HDMI / USB-C splitter with a built in battery.
