Dearest Kristen, this was, for me, a powerful practice. I am over 80 and have been doing yoga for many years. The last few years I have been exclusively praticing Yin. I became aware lately, that I am not really deeply connected to my body. Today during this class I felt more connection to my vehicle and that was the beauty, to me, of this practice. I loved the pace, the instructions, and especially how to be there for the body. Much love and Namaste'
Dear Carol, thank you for sharing how your yin yoga practice has supported you. It's truly so inspiring to hear! I love that you feel more connected to your body, and to the deeper wisdom your practice. Wishing you a wonderful day, Kristen
Wonderful class! This convinced me to become a paying member of your site. I really enjoy the longer classes! I feel reborn and light and happy, although during some poses i wanted to scream 😅. But you made me breath and relax and i made it to the end with this wonderful new body as a result🙏. Thank you 🍀
Hi Katrien, I’m so happy to hear that you feel the transformative effects of practice! The longer yin yoga practices are definitely worth the time. They make such a difference in my life, too 🌙🌸
Thank you Kristen, i so enjoyed this practice. I am really experimenting with going deeper into my body and your guiding instructions are so helpful and gentle. Namaste'
Wow. What a wonderful practice. I have been feeling physically and emotionally tired for weeks. Thank you so much for putting me in a more positive space. Namaste.
I’ve taken Kristen’s yoga classes for many years, as well as Shemanic healing with her. She is a lovely teacher and guide. So grateful to practice with you online during this time of challenge for us all! Namaste, -Lisa ☺️
Thank you for this deep practice. Just what my tired and stiff body needed today. I really appreciate your clear instruction, pacing, and the quiet space you leave for integration and practice. Sending love and gratitude your way.
What a pleasant surprise doing this practice on my Grand Rising! It soothed and opened the lower sides of my back body and hips which is my problem areas. Thank you and will be exploring the rest of your offerings... Namaste🙏🏾❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤍
Hi Kristen, I feel very blessed to have access to all these practices you put up here on RUclips. I did this practice today ... when doing the dragonfly pose I experienced quite a strong pain on the right side of my back - starting as I moved to the left ... was able to continue in that position after modifying, however when I moved onto the right side - my back{particularly the right side} played up something fierce. I have been recording my practices to I can evaluate my movements to see how I am progressing. My husband is a Bowen therapist so is interested in seeing my progression as well. After we viewed this portion of my practice, he was suggesting perhaps my sitz were not equally touching the floor - putting strain on my back even further. {I am recovering from an accident I had 18 months ago} I had to come out of the position and lay back on the floor. I felt extremely light headed and found it took some time to orient myself even laying on the floor. I moved onto the next position and had no difficulty at all and was actually quite surprized how flexible I've become over the past few weeks following you. Do you have any insights you could share with me? Thank you in advance Kristen. I appreciate any advice you may share with me. Cheers
Hi Brenda, thank you for sharing your experience. Yin yoga is a powerful practice, and unwinds quite deeply into the fascia. If you experience pain as you described then it's a sign to come out of the posture, and consult with your physician before going further. Recovering from injuries and accidents can be a complex process, and I wish you all the best in your recovery. 🙏
Kristen, I thoroughly enjoyed your first RUclips yoga class. Your clear, well-paced instructions delivered in a warm, soothing voice provide a wonderful yoga experience. Thank you!
Wonderful! Thanks for practicing with me. I have some meditations on my channel that you can listen to (and several more coming in April). Here's one to start: ruclips.net/video/7TuCJNDk7m0/видео.html
Dear Kristen, I have a question - I am wondering if you have any knowledge about being hypermobile and practicing yin yoga? I am hypermobile and I love to do yin but am wondering if it might be too risky doing yin yoga. Doing strength or more "pulse yoga" is unfortunately not an option for me atm. Would you as a teacher maybe recommend someone with hypermobility not to do yin? Thanks for a beautiful channel 🌺❤️
Hi Evelina, I would recommend connecting with a physiotherapist who can assess your body and best answer your question about what practices are right for you. 🙏
