I just cut my son’s hair for the first time today just by following your video and it turned out great! Your instructions are so easy to understand and follow. Thank you for your video!
This video is perfect and used it for my 13yo son!! I have never cut his hair, and have only cut our dog's hair...Yet it turned out really good....so well in fact we may never need to enter the barber shop again!! 10/10.
Best tutorial for boys haircut. Clearly 3xplained and demonstrated. Simple step by step. Wonderful stylist and well behaved and gorgeous little boy. Thank you. I have been searching for such a tutorial for some time.
Thank you so much for the guidance. I didn't want the regular barber to come home for my autistic son. And your video became a great great help. I did it for my child. God bless. Lov from India
Thank you! You were the first video I found , during the pandemic, to cut all my boys hair at home-for the time being. It’s such a thorough video. I love that you include the lines and the cuts to follow. I have come back to this multiple time to refresh my memory for each cut. It’s been a lifesaver. Thank you😀
Wish I found this earlier. My son (7) won’t accept the trimmer and for the past two years he looked like some ogre (Mom!) cut him with the garden shears. Well not anymore! I was massively stressed out and still the result was 500% better than I even dreamed of. The simple and clear instructions made this the absolutely best video I ever encountered. I am overjoyed!
Ive been cutting my son's hair for 2 yrs now but Im using clippers bc his hair is too thick. Im learning to use a scissors amd found your video. I couldnt wait to try it
I have a customer he’s 4 . I can’t wait to have him again because he sits still better than adults kids .Emerson even his name is beautiful .He was sitting on the bench and he was getting tired so he said “ Is it going to take much longer?” He was so right .
Great tutorial. I am wondering what hair product did you use to keep as a dry look? I can't find it and that is what my son wants not the pasty or wet look.
Thank u for this very useful video specialy on this days where there is pandemic that l dont want to go to barber or even invite a barber into our house for precautionary measures. My sons hair is fantastic just following your video
you are a total godsend! i watched the one for mens hair and cutting my bfs hair both turned out good and wasnt totally exhausting! and you explain so well here too
This is an awesome tutorial. THANK YOU! I was feeling so anxious about cutting my son's hair by myself for the first time and now I feel calm and capable. Very good and clear instructions!
Thanks for the informative tutorial. Very clear instructions and no jargon. I've just cut my 7yr old hair following these instructions. Very surprised it turned out so well😆
This has helped me so much in cutting my 3 year old son's hair. NOT only is he afraid to go to a barber or a salon, we are under strict lockdown. Without this video, I would have ended murdering his hair. My haircut wasn't that perfect, but it was acceptable.
Thank you I followed your technique for our 3.5yr old. Who's petrified of having his haircut clippers included, wont sit still very well even with tv although, I am nowhere near as skilled as you. I did a pretty good job ( previous photos from a year ago with a hairdresser proved that) the tutorial was so easy to follow . I have a question on how to work with a double crown slightly off centre to the right of the head. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Thank you for watching. If you prefer to keep hair a bit longer and around that double crown hair is not sticking up now with the regrowth , I would only trim very very little. If you see that hair is always sticking up and annoying, every morning need to be fixed, I would cut a good bit shorter all around the head, and especially around double crown. If there is only a little bit of hair that sticks up I would use thinning scissors just at that area to shorten some hair, so visually hair would not look short all around, just that trouble area. It's hard to say every hair situation is so different. Hope I did answer your question. Thank you.
@@LikeToStyle thank you gives me something to go on.I kept longer this time as per your tutorial, it sticks up regardless unless it's super long , hes got super thick hair just like me , so will use the thinning scissors .In that area taking it bit by bit with both sets of scissors. Thanks so much again .
Thank you feeling so accomplished after cutting my sons hair ! It looks so good ! And happy not to send him to the hair stylist because last time I asked for just a trim and they didn’t listen 😐
Tq for the video..I cut my son’s hair for the first time today and it didn’t looked good..so I watch your video and I managed to make it look better..I’m sure I won’t make the same mistakes again next time 😃😃
Because of covid19 I didn’t want to take my toddler to the salon but he has sooooo much hair I can’t wait any longer. I’m going to follow your video tonight. 🤞🏻
Just watched your video and am going to use it for cutting my boys' hair, as I no longer have any hair salons/barber shops in my area that are willing to have young children as clients. I'm curious though, how do you keep your scissors sharpened? Do you use a whet stone for kitchen knives or is there a different tool? Would love to see a video on care and upkeep for hair styling tools.
Thank you so much for this easy-to-understand video! Our boy has a sort of a hair allergy and is always freaking out when at the hairdresser. During Covid19 lock down we were cutting his hair "here and there" with expected poor results. Yesterday we tried out your tutorial and it was so easy to achieve a proper haircut! Regards from Germany
I have a problem with my sons sides. his hair is so thick and when it gets cut a little too short it looks like it sticks straight out to the side and does not lay flat against his head. It looks poofy. What can I do to make it look not so poofy. Your video gave me the confidence to cut my sons hair. thank you!
Thank you for watching. I would suggest to keep a bit longer on the sides, the part where you blend top and sides. And you can cut a bit shorter around edges. Hope this will be helpful.
This is exactly what I needed. My husband is going to let me try to cut our toddlers hair for the first time, but he said if I screw it up he’s going to use his clippers to give him the #1 cut he gets. I hate the way my boy looks almost bald
I'm about to cut my 15-month old's hair. I have watched the scissor/clipper and scissor videos. I'm wondering between these two techniques which is easiest to attempt with my little boy?

I need both pairs of scissors. Do you have a recommendation that I could order on amazon?
Hi, thank you for watching. I have never looked for scissors on Amazon. I would trust Jaguar.

Any tips for a boy with a double crown?
I notice you’re directing the hair back, instead of straight out. Is that right?

Thank you for watching video. I would say hair cutting scissors price starts at 50 euro. I would trust Jaguar scissors.
