    I started cutting my son’s hair a couple of years ago during the shutdown and realized that I’m pretty good at it most of the time. 😊
    Much better than I was when I was 14 and cut my brothers hair and put bald spots on his head! 🥴
    I always watch some of your videos to refresh my memory. I really like this style cut but my son does not. So I will do something a bit longer on the sides today. Thanks for this channel!

    I started cutting my 2 boys hair during pandemic and I didn't knew I will enjoy it this much. One thing I am still struggling with is fading the transition from top to sides. it looks simple but it isn't. Could you make a video focusing on the different techniques to achieve a smooth transition? I try doing scissors over comb but hairs don't flow through the comb when I move the comb up.

    Hi Michael, I’ve cut my son’s hair a few times while watching this very helpful video. My son has stick straight, coarse, and unforgiving hair and no matter what I do, he ends up looking like he’s got a hat on, and I can’t blend the longer hair into the clipped hair. Any tips on how to blend his hair better? Thank you!

    • @theoneminutebarber
      @theoneminutebarber  Год назад +1

      Straight hair is very tricky. Keeping the line of your clipper straight is key. Visualise going up a door frame. This is what you should do go straight up the side of the head in a straight trajectory as if carrying on to the ceiling.

    • @nrs3373
      @nrs3373 Год назад

      Thank you, I’ll try that. If you ever have a client with straight hair, I’d love to see how you cut the hair. But I LOVE this haircut, it’s the only one I give my 9 year old. So thank you for this video!

      Your the first person to notice my bad posture. I've tried many times to improve. It's a bad habit and is made worse by having the camera in-between me and the client at times.

    Can you do a video on how to cut a not so patient toddler. And also what clippers you recommend that are silent or not so loud. Thank you!

    Too many ads. Other than that this is one of the best if not the best video out there for cutting boys’ hair. I’ve been looking for one like this for years. The difference is that he’s teaching step by step and not rushing any of them. It’s so easy to see with his videos! Others leave important steps out.
    By the way, do you have any videos for properly cutting long, women’s curly hair at home? Or just curly hair? Just in case you answer, thank you in advance.🙏

    I'm a little confused. You went in first with a 3 and followed with 2 1/2. Wouldn't that shorten the area you previously did with the 3?

    • @theoneminutebarber
      @theoneminutebarber  9 месяцев назад

      That’s correct. I did this so I could make a place to work to with lower numbers. By creating a complete canvas with the 3 first I can then start to fine tune and taper with shorter numbers
