Rules:
1. Once red characters are available, only red characters may act. All other characters must use the defend command.
2. If red characters are not available, all other characters may only use weak attacks OR use red elements. The only exception is Sprigg, who may use the transform command to become a red monster if no blue characters are available.
3. If Sprigg is available and no other red characters are available, Sprigg may kill enemies to acquire them. She must run from the battle at its conclusion to avoid gaining additional stats.
4. Non-red characters may not change out of their starting equipment with the exception of Sprigg, and only if no red characters are available.
5. The grand slam must be completed with only red monsters.

Damn, my dude, I would've probably given up at Garai, you never really think about how much the lack of healing hurts until you get to the bosses that fuck the entire party's shit with a single tech, which is normally just a single cast of Heal All but is brutal when you're stuck with just tablets

I will definately say, i love your videos first off.
Second, i have played A LOT of Chrono Cross. This is my humble opinion, but based on my playtime over the years, i have noticed that in order to have optimal action economy, you want to have a strong physical attacker with your element of choice, and have your other two charge element power, then buff your big boi or girl.
Also, dont knock the debuff elements as well :D

Watching these videos has me realize that Lynx is the only party character you're never allowed to rename. Which adds an extra layer of oppression onto the whole situation with him.

This is incredible. Good strategies and perseverance and luck....
I wanted to do a run using Macha as much as possible, or only Macha as long as I have her... but used her some, and got boring... I like my Serge, Kid, and multi-targeting person like Guile, Razzly, and Van.
I love Draggy/Eggo (went through the trouble during the Marbule revival to just get his fire breath to wipe out all the enemies)... And Pip... And Janice/Silly Rabbit... And Kid/Trix with her laser cannon.
Honorable mentions of good fitting names. Lucky Charms, Capn Crunch, GrapeNuts. And how I love Harle/C*nt Chocula. (And I often find Fruity Pebbles/Leena is the most powerful party member, highest Strength. Isn't that funny? Well, over to yellow...)
Not Leena, LEAH. yes, she also has axes and the axe-wielders are usually pretty strong, but her as a toddler is THE STRONGEST! All the bugs and dino meat on gaea's Navel, EXTRA PROTEEEEEIN!
