*Very nice; well done peChoO* It's just a thought *[and only to help],* but if the disc was not ''out of round'' it would shake less, be better for the whole sander, and work better. It wouldn't be hard to correct either; just use the sander itself as a temporary wood lathe. At 18.00 mins it shows how/where you could: 1] clamp a piece of round stock in front of the disc 2] spin the disc to find the "high spots" with a pencil 3] with a sharp HHS lathe chisel, and the disc spinning slowly make it perfectly round :) *God Bless; Merry CHRISTmas to you and your family!*

That has got to be the largest disk sander I've ever seen built. Nice construction and finish. Could go a bit further and add the vacuum switch on the top electrical box as well as a individual light switch there too. That way you have individual control of everything at one place. But very nice project indeed... Thumbs Up

Your projects are great in metal work but you should ask some electronics to make those projects more efficient. Using smaller engines, inverters, pcb's, gears etc you can make stuff much more energy saver than now. You can have 4kw energy power using 1kw.
