Whoa, the bitcrusher sounds amazing! It seems to crush a lot without producing those harsh high frequencies you usually get from other bitcrushers. Good stuff :D
Emily and Russ, I greatly appreciate when you feature a pedal within a context of using other pedals, like with the Particle and the Exploder. It helps to see a pedal's musical potential.
John from EAE is such a kind, down to earth guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him at an Effector Market around NAMM and was very impressed by the quality of his drive/distortion pedals. So glad to see their lineup expand with this! 🎛️
Whoa, this sounds fantastic! That whole bit-crushed jam was simultaneously peaceful and unsettling, just perfect. This is Sending other delays runnin’ for the hills.
Hey Emily Hopkins and Russ! Sending really enables you to send it! The term "send it" is an early snowboarding and mountain bike slang term used to describe the act of going off a jump or cliff with extra speed or momentum! It was shortened from "sending it airmail"! Ride ride ride!
Even tough I do not own any effect pedals I do find the sound design options(from what I heard in this video)infinite when it comes to similar vst options. Thank you for the demo.
Yo dawg I heard you like perfect delay sounds that tug on the heartstrings so I put one in the insert of another and it was amazing. John's so smart that when he made a delay pedal he actually made a still to hold back the time. Been around a lot of flood damage lately and there's something about the sound of this thing that goes perfectly with roads that lead into nowhere, entire trees stripped of bark and leaves laying in the middle of cornfields, and ground that lost its grass.
Wow, amazing effects from this one. Congratulations to the EAE guys for making such a powerful and feature packed reverb/delay killer! Beautiful work EM!
The insert is actually an fx loop. Every delay and reverb should have one...I ve been an advocate of fx loops for years. The ehx deluxe memory man and deluxe memory boy have one, Seymour Duncan vapor trail and vapor trail deluxe have one. It's high time chase bliss gave us a delay with an fx loop...I keep repeating fx loop, fx loop as I can't get enough of it
What an amazing pedal! Seriously epic. That song with the synths literally blew my mind, one of the coolest things I have ever heard!! But, important question time for someone who hasn't read about the pedal, WHATS THAT CHAOS KNOB DO THO?👁️🫦👁️ Great work, phellas™😌👍💖
Another pedal to add to my wish list 😁. It has an amazing Lofi sound. I would get it just for that. Thanks for the demonstration and great music! Oh and any recommendations for someone getting into the modular synth world? I love your moog!
I think the Sending V2 is a masterpiece. The only thing i wish it had which is why i would choose the Boss DM-101 over it is the aspect of stereo I/O, but i will say the Sending V2 is so good i would consider making a mono rig to use it. 😊
In my opinion, the beautiful thing, besides the pedal, is all around the video, the lights, these desaturated colors, the details... it's all very beautiful and "sugary", it makes me think of Alice in Wonderland!
Fran Blanche says you can't earn a living making pedals. So all these people who make pedals that you review are just in the process of having their businesses fail. That makes your reviews extra special for me. 😢
@RetributionBody As an employee of the United States Federal Government with a double top secret security clearance, I can assure you that I do NOT live with my nana and her new husband Jerry, who is a complete asshole and I hate him.
Children: DOD Rubberneck and EHX Deluxe Memory Boy and others have FX loops too. Put something in the loop there and get some trippy sounds just like this.
Been waiting for analog delays to get into this kind of territory for a while with so many taking steps in this direction (thermae, bellwether, vapor trail deluxe, etc.) .....BUT almost $700!?! That's pretty stiff. You could buy a Bellwether and run a Microcosm in its loop for that price and still have money left over. This is mono too. That said, that particle in the loop sound is exactly what I've been after - might try something like that with a bell later!
More like a Bucketlist Brigade
🪄✨🎛️🕊️
i liked the first two too (the best) - really gets you where the "feels" live
I see what you did there 👍
*HE'LL YE'AH JOE* Also, heckin NAILED those beats, bro!

Hiyoooooo!
Oh my goodness, that example with the Particle - absolutely magical!
Agreed!🪄✨

Stuff that Snyder designs deserves to be looked at that way far more than I do.
I love that crush delay sound at 2:20. Shifted the feel of my room instantly. (Plus it’s raining outside, so extra moods right there.)
Honestly it’s some of the best crushing I’ve ever tried!
😌👌✨ v i b e s
That "faux reverb" setting really does it for me
It has that certain "Je ne sais quois"👌
that patch with the particle really is something

I think this just jumped to the top of my pedals wish list
The wavering fragmented and crushed sounds are way special.
Thanks Alex!
Whoa that part with the particle 😮
REJOICE! You killed this!
THANK YOU!!! 😊

I really loved the Sending delay and Unusual/Moog combo.
BIG SAME
Thanks!
The turkeys 😂😂😂😂 Loved all the sounds but especially the very moody/spooky track you did with the Moog synths 🔥
Wow Em! That sounds amazing.

Thanks so much! The pedal is so good haha
Now this is epic

The wild turkeys! Love it!
Haha thanks so much!

I always find it funny when the knobs are turned and there's the one finger coming out of Emily's head to alter the sound. Wish I could do that...

This demo is a masterpiece. Everything sounds amazing.

2:28 Emily is ‘sending’ just the right sounds to my brain right now. Thanks Emily, I’ll sleep better tonight 😁👍🏻
3:19 This is so cool. I'd love to hear it developed into a full song.
☝️☝️☝️
You know a pedal is serious business when it turns harp music into a field of turkeys. Gobble those crushed bits up!
😂
The tone is in the turkeys, 🦃 Gobbles borther
Oh this is delightful :D Very interesting!
Hot dam I pretty much loved all of those examples
Sound design is lit. This could be a golden eye menu remix
Great review!!
Yaaaay!~ New pedal :3
Doesn't seem like it's my type of pedal, but it was still neat to learn about it regardless
I need an Exploder in my life
Sold out instantly 🎉
🤯
This is truly one of the greatest pedal demo videos I've seen (and I've seen a lot). You've outdone yourself Emily!
Thanks so much!
It's honestly ✨sending✨ delay vibes rn
😂
This…on the day Strymon released The Brig.
What an amazing pedal to use with harp

That song sounds like it should be in a metroid game.

this pedal is sick. i need it.
For some reason it just occurred to me that your music reminds me of adult swim bumps.
3:16 ... Yooooooo!!! ❤
Yess, that's what I felt too 😮
🙌AWWW YISSSS🙌
Sending + Exploder = \m/ \m/ !!! If ever you want to go metal, that low-end bfuzz (not a typo) would pair well with some warbly bitcrushed sounds.
you're just the coolest. ily!

Hey Sean!!! Let’s chat modular next live stream!!!
@@emilyharpist sounds good. See you then!!
The pedal sounds great, but my personal favorite part of the video is the clips of turkeys in the background, #turkeysareinstruments
More turkeys!
What a perfect pair at 1:19
If you can't sell it for less than $700 then it belongs in a rack.
I don't have a reverse turkey pedal yet...
i saw the word "Engage" and read it in patrick stewarts voice
🫡👍 Make it so!
would you say this is an _ordinary_ pedal? or an EXTRAORDINARY one?
😂 its definitely not ordinary!
👏👏👏

Hello Emily! 😃👋
Hello!
Fabulous, your harp music shows off the effects better than guitar.
Thanks so much!
Came for the effects, stayed for the turkeys.
Nice!

I have to get that Apollo cushion
Are you telling me a pedal crushed these bits?
Like a boss
How do we know if it washed it's hands first?
I would be a bit crushed if it didn’t
😂
Not only does it look like a normal everyday delay pedal, but it also looks like a mortgage payment. Sounds pretty though.
Where do you live that a mortgage payment is $650?
@RetributionBody As an employee of the United States Federal Government with a double top secret security clearance, I can assure you that I do NOT live with my nana and her new husband Jerry, who is a complete asshole and I hate him.
*SUH DUDE* 😎🤙
I wonder how the harp will sound thru EHX hog2. Anyone else in the party?
Never tried that one! Would love to though 🤔
I clicked the link 😭 idk what to do now
OH NO I’m sorry the link updated. Go to perfect circuit . Com / contests
Why couldn't are semi recent AI voice not be Emily's?? 🤔 Main point ...excellent display of the effects and your talent 😌
More turkey content!!!!!
We need more turkeys!!!!
HECK YE'AH WE DO!🦃👄🦃

Great pedal but there are already a lot of great analog delays out there. Most of what this does can be dome similarly for cheaper.
Children: DOD Rubberneck and EHX Deluxe Memory Boy and others have FX loops too. Put something in the loop there and get some trippy sounds just like this.
Def! But those don’t have MIDI or as extensive digital controls
it sounds brilliant, but $650???? really?

Sounds very muddy, almost muted, like it's under a blanket.
Depends on where the filter is set! I cover that in the video
@@emilyharpist Yeah, even with it up full it doesn't sound so crisp on my monitors, I dunno!
Hello :D
My guess is, that the MIDI means the echoes can come out as different instrument sounds. That is clever if that's the case, but I could be wrong.
It might simply be the MIDI clock sync, also - haven't read any documentation about it.
The way MIDI is set up is that every knob can be controlled using CC values!
@@electronicaudioexperiments ahh! Very cool and that makes sense as well! A great use of digital automation capabilities.
@@electronicaudioexperiments Wow, so as I stomp the wah pedal on the GR-55, it would turn a knob. Excellent.
@@bricelory9534 @ricktheexplorer thanks! Lots of good details in the manual if you are so inclined.
