No need to remove the door panel, just pop off the arm rest, then pry up the switch panel, remove the connectors, replace switch and reinstall in the reverse order. $35 DIY completed in 10 minutes!

I'm pretty sure that process was mentioned before the whole panel was removed.

Hi, I love your videos, they've helped me a great deal with my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5S. That said, a couple of issues with *this* video :
    A) It's not necessary to remove the entire door-pad to remove the driver-side master power-window switch, as can be seen here [ ruclips.net/video/wQo2NGA77oY/видео.html ]
    B) In the video you remove the bezel with the 4 power-window switches, the lock / unlock button, & the mirror controls. However, the link to the part in the description is just for the power-window switches & the lock / unlock button. Also, some models of this vintage of Altima came with auto-up-down windows on *both* driver & passenger sides.
In any case, thanks for the videos 👍

Hello. On mine, only the driver window has automatic function. It goes down automatic but won’t close automatic. I opened it and cleaned all the copper contacts with contact spray but it did not fix it. What can be the problem? Thx

I don’t know if this one is the same process for a Nissan Maxima 09?

Nine times out of ten, when any of the window controls quit working, up or down, it is only one issue. The contact points inside the switch get coated with enough carbon that there is no longer an electrical connection. All you have to do is take apart the offending switch carefully, spray and wipe the carbon off with brake parts cleaner. Put it back together and you're good to go.

I second that. Just pop off the switch panel from the door, unplug the junction block, flip the assembly upside down and carefully pop off the individual control covers so you can split the bottom cover from the top(four push clips) this will allow you to access the rocker switch contacts and clean the carbon off. Reinstall everything in reverse and your golden.
Also if your window drive motor is stuttering, try accessing the the motor so you can clean the brushes. The drive lube can run down the shaft and contaminate the brushes causing a loss of contact.
