- Do you want to learn how to paint like Piero Manzoni Achromes? Piero Manzoni made conceptualism art but a lot of people think that conceptualism or conceptual art is crap. I will explain how Merda d’artista or artist’s shit and Artist Breath are conceptual art and by doing so this video will get conceptual art explained. I will do a number of white in white painting or Achrome and I will be painting with different materials in this conceptual art tutorial. You can also see how to make conceptual art. But I start with a little conceptual art history about the conceptual art movement to put it all in perspective. Achromes or the Achrome Piero Manzoni makes look like painting without color, it raises the questions like What makes art art? You’ll see, enjoy the video!

In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video.
Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.

I just love how you think! You are always so inspiring! Sorry I’ve been gone so long…been making puppets! Lol
Thanks, Deb. Oh, nice, puppets, an art as well. Perhaps you can comhine your knowledge with painting? Things aren't as separated as people think. Enjoy, Albert
Next proyect for me, as I saw a bedroom makeover video of a minimalist woman who had a white on white canvas paint over her bed. That has made me think that there are very sensitive people that need achromatic art to scape from colour stimulation. I think this can response to Manzoni's question "does art need colour?" In my opinion no, it doesn't.
Hi Con Civ, yes, I totally agree with you. Lots of color, less color, one color with different shades to no color or white on white. Have fun with your next project! Looking forward to the results. Have a nice day, Albert
I prefer closed! thanks for the questions! Thanks for all sharing!
Hi Stella, lots of questions indeed. I prefer open too. Bye, Albert
I like the corner open
Thanks, Alan. It's always nice to hear another one's preference, no right, no wrong. It's just personal, Albert
I haven't heard about conceptual art. Very interesting!
Hello Katarina, thanks for your comment. Nice to hear you found something new to you. I hope you like this corner of the art world as much as I do. Have fun, Albert
I love conceptual art. I believe any thing that makes you think is art. It’s interesting to see people’s reactions I’ve told strangers I’m an artist before and showed them some of my work and they say wow that’s amazing , I’ve told others that I’m new to art and this is what I’ve produced and they say that’s nice but are not blown over. Just by changing the scenario of I’m an artist or an amateur changes the way people think . That’s why I love conceptual art as it’s fun just take a look at banksy
Hi T J, I'm a fan too. Wonderful art to think about. Your experiment when showing your art was hilarious. But it also makes things clear. I don't know if you know the movie 'Intouchables' (trailer ruclips.net/video/34WIbmXkewU/видео.html) where they also pull a trick like that. The ideas behind conceptual art often make me smile, the boldness but also raising questions. Art is the best, Albert
@@ImperfectPaintings I will check the trailer out . I hope you and your family get to visit London and our beautiful art scene I’ve managed one art trip since the beginning of lockdown but I’m exploring art virtually
Hi T J, a few years back we visited London with the family. We did all the highlights and also enjoyed some time at Tate Modern. I just had to see the Rothko's. Within a minute I got sick and had to leave the building. Later I learned I was to open and got lost in them. Interesting experience. I used to visit a museum every other week but now i don't like it as much with all these new rules and regulations. So i also chose the internet and books from our library. But it's never like seeing a real artwork. Albert
Interesting thought provoking video Albert!
Hi Stuart, thanks, I was wondering what you would think of it. Thanks, hammer on the nail, conceptual art is all about questions. Nice day, Albert
thanks
Thanks Suwong
i like what you do, it is fun and easy.
Hi monique, thanks. Try it yourself, sometimes it only looks easy 😉
Bye, Albert
I enjoyed that.
Hi Mookiemu, thanks. He's one of my favorite artists because of the way he plays with the 'rules' of art. Do try for yourself to make a white painting, also fun to do. Albert
How to prepare kaolin? Thanks
Hi Simone, sorry but check youtube, I only mentioned it as an option or because the artist used it. Hope this helps, Albert
Or they more likely sculptural art?
Hi Marion, thanks. I guess there is always a gray area between the different disciplines on art. But it's all interesting to look at. Albert
You aren't close to Manzoni's effortlessness.
Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing your thoughts, I get what you mean. Do you paint as well? Bye, Albert
