The first thing I notice, as an American, is that we do not hear four commentators constantly 'analyzing' and blathering on because the network believes any human speaking about any banality is better than 'dead time' on air. 70% of this time is filled with footsteps at 75 paces per minutes and music and the tollling of church bell ONLY. We'd be provided with 5 minutes of commercial interuptions twenty minutes apart - all 'honoring the queen' while selling us products!
The BBC tv channel showed this same output and didn't have any interruptions for adverts (funded from the tv licence). Commercial stations like this one (Sky News) showed all coverage of the funeral free from adverts. Other commercial stations, not showing the funeral, out of respect for The Queen on the day of the funeral, didn't show any adverts. They just left a sign saying this for a few minutes with silence before returning to the show.
@@nevillemason6791 That is not the way this would go down on most American television networks! But we could watch something like this on PBS (Public Broadcasting System) C-SPAN (Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network) with no or very little advertising. The major commercial networks would make a total hash of this broadcast.
So proud to be British, the whole of the procession were outstanding, but for me, my pride in our navy and the 8 pall bearers were amazing. Those 8 young boys were brought out of Afghanistan for the funeral and returned there this week.

So poignant seeing this all again. The queen was truly the mother and grandmother of many people in this country. She was the stabilizing force that kept lots of people united. Also, an example to all women around the world. Having the courage to do her last engagement just two days before she died and being able to smile...This is truly an example to us all. She truly deserved that amazing pomp and ceremony for her funeral. All my respect for her and for all other women who follow her example.

The Queens great legacy was the strengthening of the commonwealth So fitting that the biggest commonwealth country took the lead followed closely by the other great nations
It's also very hard to as normal pace is 116 ppm. Slow march is 65 ppm. 75 ppm was needed as quick march was too fast and slow march too slow. It basically meant re writing the drill manual.
No one did better than Woody.EXE and thousands gathered in Wales 6 months ago to watch me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE’s tribute to the Queen. Many mourners have said our procession was probably the saddest part of the day

9:10 seeing her beloved RCMP lead the procession brings a tear to my eye. She loved Canada and the commonwealth as a whole. The RCMP’s superb horse breeding program supplied her with some of her favourite horses. Up to her death, she had four horses in her stables gifted by the RCMP and specifically requested they be in the procession, ridden by none other than the men and women who gifted those steeds.

We as sri lankans must express our deepest sorrow to the people of great britain . There are many many reasons for that. We were given the best education system in the world under their rule. Best administration system in the world . Best economy . Best transport system . Well behaved and well mannered society was formed in the country . Under their rule no nepotism . Qualification was given pride of place when selecting for a job. Religious places were kept at their places and no discrimination . In a nut shell ceylon was made pearl of indian ocean .. I saw some people were critisaising the royal family . We cannot help for that. Even today we could exist with minimum facilities facing economic crisis because of the good work of the white people . We must pay our gratitude to the britishers for their good work. What our leaders did and are doing is destroying the poor country .
I could say the same for South Africa. The government is so corrupt and nothing is being done to stop them. We live in fear every single day. Education and Healthcare Institutions are in crisis. Not long before South Africa is degraded on a massive scale

I’m nearly 21 and Mummy is still here at nearly 44. I still can’t get over that Mummy became Princess of Wales just 25 years after Diana’s death. Then my sister became Princess of Wales just 4 days after Mummy; on the day Queen Elizabeth died, my 2009 Woody becomes heir to Wales’s throne immediately and I became Woody.EXE’s Queen. It's awesome. I don't think we will ever see anything on this Imperial scale again. Not even the Coronation I think
The BBC coverage using hundreds of cameras that was shared with all broadcasters was absolutely flawless for the funeral.
😊😊😊😊
I think I recall BBC ITV and Channels 4 and 5 took ALL adverts off air from her death until after the funeral as a mark of respect
@helenagreenwood2305 the BBC don't have adverts

So poignant seeing this all again. The queen was truly the mother and grandmother of many people in this country. She was the stabilizing force that kept lots of people united. Also, an example to all women around the world. Having the courage to do her last engagement just two days before she died and being able to smile...This is truly an example to us all. She truly deserved that amazing pomp and ceremony for her funeral. All my respect for her and for all other women who follow her example.

So fitting that the biggest commonwealth country took the lead followed closely by the other great nations

The Mounted Metropolitan Police and the RCMP are the real deal - superb police forces.
They marched at exactly 75 paces per minute. Phenomenal precision and discipline.
It's also very hard to as normal pace is 116 ppm. Slow march is 65 ppm. 75 ppm was needed as quick march was too fast and slow march too slow. It basically meant re writing the drill manual.

This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen
The funeral march music was amazing! No one can beat the British for their traditions and courage!
Beethoven makes shivvers run down the spine i find
Какое мужество, они сатанисты
The major music is by Johann Heinrich Walch the Funeral March 1 and 3, the Funeral March op.62 no.3 by Mendelssohn, Chopin - Marché Funèbre, Beethoven - Leonore Prohaska WoO 96 and the Funeral sentences for the death of Queen Mary II by Purcell.
The point is the music is the best part of all this! Regardless of whether it's by Walch or Beethoven -- the music is German. Not British. God save the King!
When it comes to pomp they rule the world. I hope it’s a tradition they continues. Even though we asked them to leave our country.

Qualification
was given pride of place when selecting for a job. Religious places were kept at their places and no discrimination . In a nut shell ceylon was made pearl of indian ocean .. I saw some people were critisaising the royal family . We cannot help for that. Even today we could exist with minimum facilities facing economic crisis because of the good work of the white people . state events
the queen herself is also one of the planners
@@jeremykings3638 our late Queen planned the music in the Abbey and Chapel the hymns and readings
the guests from her charities and those awarded the Victoria and George Cross and some of the guests in the Chapel
state funerals follow the same pattern, she did not plan any of that, Monarchs and Consorts add the personal touches to state and ceremonial funerals
They always make sure to talk with the Queen per month or per year, to make sure that nothing haven’t been changed or if there anything that’s needed to re-change. It’s done closely enough, hence now.
