Dustins voice has improved tremendously since the tour with Breaking Benjamin, well done Dustin!
Definitely, but then again, it's obvious that these official live performances go through some cleaning up before they are released. Every band does it when they release an official live performance. Plus Dustin probably uses pitch correction/autotune during live performances. Not to take away from how far he has come, every artist uses pitch correction even when live.
@@Stigma-ba115 Yes, I'm pretty sure I detected some autotune during the bridge. I don't think that was present in the actual performance though, there never seems to be any in videos from the audience.
There are a lot of videos of the audience out there, and from what ive seen hes come a long way since i saw them live in 2017, even then he wasn’t too bad either, it’s just that audience recordings never do it justice with the noise etc vs being there in the moment, in a way the loudness of the music plus concert adrenaline kinda keep you from hearing many flaws. The fact that their audience recordings have gotten so much better only makes me want to see them live again, i can only imagine how good they would be.
Also forgot to mention, the show in general especially with the costumes it’s a really big distraction as well

I hear a lot of praise for Dustin. And I do love him, but can we take a moment to appreciate how well the rest of the band did to make this sound exactly like the actual track?
Oh yeah. One of their biggest criticisms is that the whole band is forgotten in place of Dustin. (Notice how he's the only one not covering his face with something.) I wish they'd be more like RED and have other members of the band lead parts of the story.
@@ScamwatchDallin But they do. Siobhán stands on the front for Carnivore during this tour, as well as Zuzana, and they steal the show with the incredible AC/DC cover. Ron and Brock kill it on the two sides, and Adam does a whole lot of cool drumstick spins. They are a whole experience together, and based on the live demonstration I went to, they are all equal and put on the show together in unity :) Ps, the guys remove the facemasks by each passing song.

@@feelgoodeinc93 absolutely. If you listen to his earlier live performances, he was struggling to hit notes. If you look at the reimagined vessels album there's a lot of raw vocals. He's no sia, but he is getting significant progress.

No one seems to understand how strong his vocals always have been since Downplay, but he’s overworked and heartsick. You can feel it in his energy. It has nothing to do with talent, because his passion makes him always sound amazing to me. 🥰

I've had the pleasure of seeing them live twice now and I even got to meet them in person back in 2017. They signed my poster of them and they even let me hang around the booth for a few minutes. They all were such genuine guys who just loved to make music. I remember Dustin asked me "What's your favorite song off the new record"? and I answered with "Bringing it down" (Since Vessels just released) and he told me that was his favorite song to perform live. Sure enough, an hour later and they hit the stage starting out with that track and my god they blew me away. I was right in the front and he happened to see me and even lowered the mic to me during the breakdown and I will forever remember that amazing moment. I will forever love these guys, their message, and their love for music.

Saw them for the first time last Saturday in Nottingham.. after being a fan since just before Transmissions released. I can say they all put on one hell of a show and the crowds sing and get involved.. Very immersive indeed and I cannot wait to see them again. Worth every single penny.
It's performances like this that remind me it's an entire band behind this sound. Will always give extra props to Zuzana and Siobhan up there casually stringing away like it's nothing

Ik this is an old vid and comment but I just got into these guys and it's insane to me that he pulls off that "REGRESS" just to go back into the clean vocals because, in a lot of shows, they'd normally just have a backup singer do the line and give the frontman breathing time. Idk if they still perform the song like this but, if so, kudos to Dustin for having good breath control and being able to pull this off so well

Dude, It takes lots of effort and 5 to 6 cameramen to make this I respect artist or artist groups who put some effort to bring the live experience to their audiences

This was tight. The whole band is on freaking point and Dustin sounds fantastic! Both times I've seen them it was late in a tour cycle after like 3-4 shows in a row and you could tell his voice was tired. Awesome to hear him when he's fresh.
Luke Holland writes such insane drum parts, major props to Adam for being able to replicate them night after night on tour!
This was so fantastic to see in person (they came to my city in October). This video is fantastic but it still doesn't do justice to the stage show itself, and I highly recommend going to see them in person if you ever get the chance. The atmosphere is something else, and it's my favorite live concert to date

Sincerely, Starset is the most unique bands in rock music in my opinion. Their style is just musics very different of the other in the World.
You guys don’t understand how pumped I am to see you guys live in concert. I tried a few years ago but it was too far away but now I actually already have tickets to go see a show! You guys honestly can never make a bad song. I own all of the albums and I listen to them all of the time. Plus, Dustin and his voice has come so far! I listen to Transmissions and then listen to Divisions and everything has improved so much! I’m so proud of you guys and theming is on point. Love you guys so much!
If you go back a few years and watch one of their live performances you can definitely see Dustin's improved from then to now

If you have never experienced a demonstration live you are missing out! A video will never truly let you know what it's like! Do what you can to get to a show!
They'll have a show somewhat nearby enough to my area, but I won't be able to go. I'm sad now; starset is one of my tops bands I would like to see live, since they've improved.
Aww, man that sucks so bad. Whenever they are on tour I go on Instagram and find the location they are at for that day then watch everybody's videos they post, some even go live, maybe u can at least do that. They are my number 1 so I watch them every chance I get!! Even met them a few times. Maybe one day u will get to go!

They sound amazing live. This is the first live video that I have listened to by the most inspirational fall into regress. So simple and primitive.
