The Ryobi cutoff beat out the Milwaukee on the torque test channel.
I've seen a lot of Ryobi tools do well... initially. I've used Ryobi circ saws, table saws, miter saws, drills, and more to build entire staircases from scratch and they did well! (Drill was terrible). But they, in the past, were notorious for not lasting long. So I personally would choose good enough and durability. I've had that cut off tool from the month it released. There are only certain 18V Ryobi tools I'd buy (fans, speakers, sprayers, etc.). I love their 40V line though.
@@ToolDeals all valid points. If I had to choose a cutoff, I’d save up for the Dewalt XR. Slap a powerstack on that thing and you got a powerful beast that will stand the test of time.
looking forward to Ryobi days featuring their new EDGE batteries to be BOGOed with their high end tools, like their new $300+ vacuums. specifically, the PBLSV719K and the PBLSV747K. those two vacuums are rather interesting IMHO.
We might not see that until the holidays around October since they're new. But the difference in power is incredible when you look at the contrast to other batteries. I agree with the use in the vacuums. An edge battery is about the same power as an 8AH High Output.
@@ToolDeals here's hoping that the price won't be the same as an 8AH High Output.
8:57 for the 1st dewalt item.
👍
Ebay - factory authorized outlet- 20 percent off milwaukee powertools and socket sets
Thanks for letting us know!
I love my Ryobi brand nailer and cut off tool for what it’s worth.
The surge impact driver is my favorite driver for day to day stuff.
The newer Ryobi Brushless stuff does perform well! Nice to hear they're more reliable.
The Milwaukee starter kit with the hackzall is the ticket. You end up paying $91 for the tool…hard to beat that! Got it on free delivery and it will be here Friday!
Nice!
That cutoff tool was that price but came with an extra bettery......a few weeks ago
Really?! I completely missed that!
@@ToolDeals yep. it was a DOTD on the depot app. it was last wednesday. Around 9am there was only 230 or so in stock. Sold out quick once people caught wind of it. Cut off tool + 2.5 HO batt for $71 after hack.
@@axlrad307that sounds like an amazing deal

Thank you sir!
The Milwaukee 8AH Bogo is not $249. It's not buy the starter kit and get some free tools. It's buy the (much more expensive) tools and get the free starter kit. So you'll pay whatever the tools cost and get the $249 starter kit for free.
You misunderstand the hack. None of that matters, what matters is what the itemized price says. How you bundle them is irrelevant.
Bought the cutoff tool with battery, then it came with a free battery. After returning the extra battery it was $71.52 for the cutoff and battery. $80 for tool only is not a deal
I'm not sure most would argue to wait for however long to save $8.48 for a tool they need.
@@ToolDeals saved $8.48 and got an extra 2.5 amp hour battery.
I could care less about 2.5 battery. I have a ton of m12 batteries as it is
@@adiaz856 🤣 ok. I can sell my 2.5 amp hour battery for $30 now my cut off tool was only $41.52 .........why are you so mad about a battery.
@@MrBill-ee4mrwhen was your deal?
