    The Ryobi cutoff beat out the Milwaukee on the torque test channel.

      I've seen a lot of Ryobi tools do well... initially. I've used Ryobi circ saws, table saws, miter saws, drills, and more to build entire staircases from scratch and they did well! (Drill was terrible). But they, in the past, were notorious for not lasting long. So I personally would choose good enough and durability. I've had that cut off tool from the month it released. There are only certain 18V Ryobi tools I'd buy (fans, speakers, sprayers, etc.). I love their 40V line though.

      @@ToolDeals all valid points. If I had to choose a cutoff, I’d save up for the Dewalt XR. Slap a powerstack on that thing and you got a powerful beast that will stand the test of time.

    looking forward to Ryobi days featuring their new EDGE batteries to be BOGOed with their high end tools, like their new $300+ vacuums. specifically, the PBLSV719K and the PBLSV747K. those two vacuums are rather interesting IMHO.

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  Месяц назад +1

      We might not see that until the holidays around October since they're new. But the difference in power is incredible when you look at the contrast to other batteries. I agree with the use in the vacuums. An edge battery is about the same power as an 8AH High Output.

      @@ToolDeals here's hoping that the price won't be the same as an 8AH High Output.

    The Milwaukee 8AH Bogo is not $249. It's not buy the starter kit and get some free tools. It's buy the (much more expensive) tools and get the free starter kit. So you'll pay whatever the tools cost and get the $249 starter kit for free.

    • @ToolDeals

      You misunderstand the hack. None of that matters, what matters is what the itemized price says. How you bundle them is irrelevant.

    Bought the cutoff tool with battery, then it came with a free battery. After returning the extra battery it was $71.52 for the cutoff and battery. $80 for tool only is not a deal
