Loretta Thomas Thanks again for telling me about guns gore & cannoli. I would recommend getting Dying Light instead of Dead Island its just a bit better and The Following DLC is really good.
Hey JMM. I know you love your zombie games, just like i do. I've played everyone i could get my hands on. I have a recommendation. 1 game which blew my every expectation out of the water and which i implore you to try. That game is Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. It is a complex game and takes a lot of learning, but every moment is worth it, for true survival and zombie game fans.
State of Decay is like a person. Not perfect, but special to some people and for good reason. It can be a good game and still have flaws, we just tend to grade on this scale that has us comparing everything to everything else instead of comparing it by our own preference. I'm happy some people can still decipher between survival horror, action-horror, and just action. That is what makes this list stand out to me. You respect the traditional zombie without forcing yourself into a canyon where things like lollypop chainsaw and Dead Rising are too silly. Did I meantion, great list.
Blade Runner 07 I like what I like. Action games to me just become stale pretty quickly I want something more. I can see people's frustrations with SoD2 in some ways it is a step backwards from the first game. Unread labs must have never heard the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" With that said I love the game I just wish it was a little less buggy they did have 3 years!
Wait. If Master Chief Collection is anythign to go by it'll be perfect before 2022..... so we have that to look forward to. Seriously though, at least Microsoft has aknowleged the issues and a patch is in the works.
Blade Runner 07 There is nothing about the game that is so bad it can't be fixed with an update which is good but it begs the question why wait until the game is released and get so many bad reviews. Not that I care what the reviews say but they shot themselves in the foot big time.
I get that. It's sad that a 5/10 can scare people away for good. I know it would scare me away. I'm more worried about the identity crisis this game faces. More so, the perceived identity the general public has given it. I still say you videos explaining what makes a SURVIVAL HORROR games its genre is a great set of guidelines. When you judge State of Decay 2 as an open-world action game with zombies in it, it does LOOK like yet another Dead Rising or even a 3rd person Dying Light. When you judge State of Decay 2 as an open-world survival horror game, you can separate the "zombie game" from the strategy and resource management and suddenly it becomes greater than the sum of its parts. It's something that encapsulates everything great about traditional survival horror. One of the best examples the genre has ever seen. Bright Side: Luckily we live in an age where if SoD2 can retain most of the current player base long enough to patch in some fixes, then popularity may keep it alive. It's a fun game to watch too. It's not like PUBG and Fortnite are the most well-reviewed action games out there, they just do Battle Royale better than most, the price is right (SoD2 is 'free' for Game Pass owners) with Fortnite and there is a big social element in both games. If State of Decay 2 can get patched up right, it could have at least a sizable following for awhile.
Blade Runner 07 What you mentioned is the thing that worries me, the damage could already be done. Even if the bugs get fix a lot of people who have already played it might quit the game and never come back. With a smaller fan base we might never see a SoD 3 or much effort put into future DLC.

Hey, dude what are your thoughts on the OTS 3rd person shooter remake of RE2? I personally think its a joke, its just RE4 all over again, which i thought was left behind for good after FPS RE7. Headshots simply break the game there's no real strategy or resource management. In RE2 the whole point was simply avoiding conflict because you couldn't just headshot everything and you HAD to waste 5-10 bullets on every zombie. Even if RE2 Remake has puzzles of the original, does it even matter when you can just shoot a zombie in the head and walk away? does it even matter when the cinematic and Hitcklook esque horror camera angles are gone and is replaced by Leon's back? Its just a shocking disappointment to me. Well... at least Devil May Cry 5 isn't shy of making a game in 2018 with fixed camera. long live the hack'n'slash genre, R.I.P Old school Resident Evil. Yes it is really annoying that it doesn't have fixed angles but that didn't surprise me. Here are some positives to take away. 1. You can avoid the zombies (and should) 2. Ammo is scarce 3. zombie games today are absolutely trash compared to back in 2010 when LEFT 4 DEAD was around! Today’s zombie games are small mapped and way too questy Arcady bullshit example: kill 1000 zombies 2x XP or credits this just makes zombie games less challenging and take away the feel of being a zombie game we want big maps with outstanding graphics and AI with a variety of weapons which should not be pay to win by buying In game items such as weapons which is pay to win stop adding these into games it’s just destroying the players experience!

I cant find l4d2 in a store and I can’t buy it online and it’s sucks😂
You could always try eBay or buy the digital version on the Xbox One.
0:00 wrong ps4
state of decay
the house of the dead seriese
zombie games today are absolutely trash compared to back in 2010 when LEFT 4 DEAD was around!
PS4 has better quality than Xbox one
If you're happier with slower zombies than you are faster zombies, you don't need to play zombie games
I wish overkill was something special, but it’s shit
I hope they fix a lot of the problems by the time it comes to console
