Paul: "Hey ACE, Wanna Boogie?" So classic. This concert came in 2 sets. They played twice that night. Lot's of songs still missing but I feel something so rare needs to be kept under lock & key. These songs were released due to a collector pissing off another collector. Thank God!
This is KISS when they were originally called the Clarences, before they changed their name to KISS and stole all of Clarence's ideas. It used to be "She's Watching You, Man", "Get the Firehouse, Man", "She a Strutter, Man", before they kicked him the hell out of the band, man, and stole all of his ideas. When you play Acrobat backwards, you can hear their plot to kick Clarence out and steal all of his ideas. Jeremy Bennett Loves THECLARENCES ;)
This song is a work of genius compared to anything Kiss have done 2000 to present or future. Real & raw grinding rock and roll music with fire and enormous testicles.
Thats because Ace and Peter joined the band and made Gene and Paul appear talented. Note there is a whole section which later turned out to be Aces' live solo during Shock Me. Ace probably wrote all those great KISS songs but was too drunk to remember, so Gene and Paul took the credit.
this is so awesome!!!!!!! it is nothing like the Wicked Lester version.... just a better feel and way better riffs! I'm pretty sure they would have demo'd this in the studio in '73, but the odds of Gene releasing it are slim to none.
Hard to imagine only 4 years later the Love Gun tour (the biggest show of its time). And as big as it was, they still hadn't done any world tours. Just a few stops in key markets. It was like one long five year US tour that got bigger and bigger until there was nothing left. Makes for a great story.

I've had the whole thing since the 90s
I can hear the genesis of so many KISS songs in this one piece of music.
You can definitely hear the Peter's swing influence here. Awesome ! Nothing beats the early Kiss !
This song should have been on the first Kiss album .....hands down......
Rerealise a Kiss boxset with all these gems And solo álbums outakes
Some of these tracks WERE on the Box Set!
uhhhh no
@Hirkey Shmirkey The bootleggers gave permission? LOL! Right! WHO'S songs are they???
Finally! A live recording of "Simple Type"! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
xoxo
The Clarences

THECLARENCES ...man.
Kilgore Trout (:
now, the SAX SOLO!

yawn
God, this is so much better than the Wicked Lester version.

The vocal parts are reversed and prob put BACK to it's original boogie groove.
Ron Johnson butchered a lot of their songs!
kaum zu glauben, dass es noch so alte auftritte gibt!

Unbelievable. Who has been sitting on this all this time?
I've had it on cassette since the late 80s
i like this a lot but it's only for the hard core fans...
Thanks a lot for sharing!
Love the music behind it.

it's called marketing
They played in the UK & Japan before Love Gun.
@@The1066BMJ I think they hit Germany around Destroyer time?.. could be off there
I could see this song in their 2014 set-list !!
yawn
The intro riff sounds like "I Want To Tell You" by the Beatles or Ted Nugent(the version I'm familiar with). Also, Gene really eats that microphone.
I was thinking the same thing with the riff!!!
Wow!
All the way
The best band
speechless
Paul the best ever!
best lip syncher?
This song is creepy enough to be on the soundtrack of a Stephen King movie!
reminds me of playing drums after drinking 2L bottle of Coca cola
esta rola muy chida no la asvia escuuchadoo muy buena es peter ypual
Definently should've replaced kissin time or 100,000 years on the first album.
Not in 100,000 years!
hands off 100,000 years you wanker
Similar intro to I WANT TO TELL YOU
Eeee.....no comment.
Gebes vocals tho 😅
Sounds like Humble Pie.
sounds like shit pie
''Ace '' !
Beatles much?
Kinda disjointed... but the are cutting their teeth for what is to come
Dudes got a short middle finger
Stripped down ... Shows that Peter really did suck. I hear better rhythm and time keeping from a leaky water faucet.
get your ears checked. Peter is awesome and the ONLY drummer for KISS.
Coldacre Get your objectivity checked! Peter always SUCKED!!!!!
I'm hearing Peter being the only thing keeping things moving while Paul is milking the crowd, and they're attempting to "jam."
true
they desperately needed a guitar tech.and a tuner
Don't worry. They got one.
they do get better
